its so sad how the older you get the more you learn how to not let it show. your obsessions, all the things that make you so insanely happy. you learn to inhibit them so you can be one of the grown ups and be taken seriously. i wish i could go back to my 16 year old self and blast 1d music in my room and miss them all day long and have friends on stan twt who know EXACTLY what I'm going through. but no. you hide it now because that's what you're expected to do and you haven't opened twitter in months and you haven't kept up with your favourite artist or fought against other stans in months and your stan twt account is inactive and so are your friends' and they tell you they've somehow moved on but you still haven't!!! and it hurts but you need to too! so you try.

dear diary,

i think louis has a crush on me. he gazes at me and his eyes sparkle. he calls me pet names and we kiss sometimes. i confronted him about it and he told me we’re married. i’m okay with that.
