Today I have been productive as hell. I mean, it could have been more, but comparing it with the past days today was the most productive one!
~ wrote an entire analysis for my history class
~ done my summaries/overview for my other history class
~ prepared flashcards (which is not that much) for my presentation in my intercultural communication class
~ sent my assignment for another course
~ continued watching „once upon a time“.
Todays studysession: 4 1/2 hours

I went to the library again and I made some good progress on editing my paper! I decided to print it out for editing because it was very hard to read/edit on overleaf without my brain feeling overwhelmed.
Also I'm taking a Writing in the Sciences course (for free online from Stanford) and I feel like it's been quite helpful in giving me pointers for writing/editing :)

Day 4 of 100 Days of Productivity
I hate revising/revisiting a topic. I don't know about anyone else, but I constantly want to be learning something new. Going back to a topic feels so tedious. I'll try to get better at this skill.

First you procrastinate on the task because it is not a big enough deal to get done urgently. Then you procrastinate on the task because it has become such a big deal that doing it is overwhelming. You would think that this implies a middle point where it is just big enough of a deal to get done easily, however the inherent perversity of the universe's causal geometry prevents this

"i'm too tired to study" do it tired then.
enough making petty excuses for yourself. as your scrolling midlessley through tiktok, your competition (aka the version of yourself you want to become) has sat there studying hours on end, moving further and further away from where you are now. "i'm not smart enough" you don't need to be naturally gifted to excel, you just need consistency and good study habits. not everyone who scores high is einstein, they just worked their ass off. turn "one day" into day one and start now.
