As you get older, you really start to understand more about why people drink the night away, smoke their lungs black, or throw themselves off buildings. The world is a horrible place unfit for beautiful people because life turns them into broken vases with dried up rotting roses and cracked lips that got caught in life’s path of destruction only to be found as a slumped figure on the shower floor, veins wide open, crimson rivers running across the room and a shell of a human being who just wanted the shit to stop.

I saw these floating around so I decided to make some of my own.. .

Apollo: That warmth you feel when you greet the sun. A teary smile you get from reading tarot for someone.

Aphrodite: When your eyebrows are on point. The first butterfly filled kiss from finally kissing your crush. 

Hermes: A giddy stomach feeling when you get away with stealing. A gentle hand on your shoulder when a relative just passed.

Dionysus: That last night you don’t particularly remember. Those thoughts that tear you up inside though you know it will pass.

Artemis: The first heartache from which your brother/sister offers you cookies and makes jokes about beating the person up. Seeing small paw prints in the snow.

Athena: That inspiring tour guide that gushes about each and every history at a museum. The wise voice in the back of your head that tells you not to do that stupid thing you are thinking of doing.

Hera: The blushing bride walking down the isle. Tears that pour down a new mothers cheeks as she gets to hold her newborn.

Zeus: That hot dad neighbor that you see playing with his kids. A CEO making difficult, but necessary decisions for his company. 

Poseidon: The cutest seahorses you’ve ever seen. The complete and utter calm feeling of floating above water.

Ares: That just-one-more push up. A brave citizen that stops a robber from looting a gas station. 

Demeter: A worried mother sending letters to her child out in the army. Crinkling leafs that signal seasons changing.

Persephone: Squish of mud between your toes. A racing heartbeat when you haven’t gotten to see your significant other after a long time and finally do.

Hades: Feeling like the oldest sibling when you’re not. Carrying the strongest soft spot for your overgrown puppies.
