TOO BUSY RESPECTING WOMEN PLEASEEEE I FUCKING LOVE HIM FOR THAT
The best part of the percy jackson books is that from percy's perspective hes just an easygoing funny cool guy who seems pretty harmless but the moment you see him from someone elses pov hes terrifying. Just a crazy good fighter, a force of nature killing machine, literally gets mistaken for a god in disguise. But he doesnt see that side of himself at all because hes too busy arguing with authority figures and respecting women. I love him

my sibs and i have done stuff like this before lmao. one of us will just say a word (such as, for instance, "e") and our tone will determine what we mean. ie one of us could go "e? ee e ee e e e e. E E E EEE E." and the other will just Know that we're apparently ranting. fambly bro
one time my friend and i came up with a basic “language” called wheat vegetable root. wheat represented every noun. vegetable represented every verb. root represented every adjective. it was very body language based. if my friend beckoned and said “vegetable”, i understood that my friend was telling me to walk with them. if my friend pointed to something and said “wheat”, i understood that they were showing me something. if they said “root wheat” and smiled, they’re saying this thing is good. if they say “root wheat” and frown, they’re saying this thing is bad. we spent a whole day talking like this and drove the rest of our friends insane.
