So this Splinter was always bad ass but...wow...who knew it could go up a notch👏👏👏

I’ve heard that animals can sense death, like at least in cats, they tend to snuggle with people who are terminally ill or are about to die. Often in old folks homes, cats will snuggle with people who are about to die as if to comfort them.

I’m not exactly sure how they know, I’ve heard for dogs they can smell something’s wrong with you, perhaps cats are the same??

Idk but I know rodents also have exceptionally good smell and hearing so I would imagine Splinter can experience something similar and can sense in some way that Donnie is nearing death.

It’s also canon that Splinter can sense death in some way or at least predict it as he begins feeling uneasy and starts preparing for when he dies very shortly before he does.

I find this kind of stuff fascinating.

There’s one more chapter left.

Next week will be the last part of Fading Fantasies and then the next chapter will be A Cure to a Curse

So in total there’ll be 5 chapters, actually a 3rd of the chapters of ROTP.

I am yes! I wouldn’t say I’m like a HUGE fan but I’ve watched the majority of the Spider-Man tv-show from 2017 and a bit Spectacular Spider-Man.

I’ve watched a few of the newer movies too(the ones starring Tom Holland), though I think I liked the tv-shows better. I have yet to watch the spider verse movies, they’re on my to-watch-list, they look AMAZING! I’ve been thinking about buying some older comics too, though I’ll probably need to do some research first 😅

My favorite is Peter Parker, I feel like I really love his quipy sarcastic and punny humor and how he’s just such a dork, especially when he’s trying so very hard to be a cool vigilante and it’s just…not working 🤣

I think I also really like how he’s a hero that struggles. Nothing comes easy to him, he has to fall down over and over to get stuff right, which to me is very relatable.

Also “With great power comes great responsibility” resonates so much with me, it’s probably one of the most inspirational and wise quotes and I love it! (RIP Uncle Ben)

It’s only really used in facial injuries though, as it seems because hair so fine it barely leaves a mark.

The article seemed to think that the hair still needed to be removed later, but still a very interesting fact!

i cant stop thinking about how ironic it is that donnie is the most excited about being human, and he's the one who wants to use this opportunity to its fullest, but... he's also the only one sick because of it. the others got hurt, but that was regular injury. donnie's sick because of being human altogether.

the one thing he longs for the most, he finally gets it, but its tearing him apart cell by cell.

that hurts, man.
