but some stubborn nugget of data keeps coming back
the thing I’ve been obsessing over since I started diving into reading about kink; how it connects to somatic trauma work.
kink as body technology. the english word kink itself as indicating a literal actual kink in a form that ought to resemble something else— as english of a concept as anything I can think of— and how the embodiment practices of kink and technological applications thereof put kink and kinky people directly at odds with a world that is anti-embodiment anti-sex anti-queer and anti-life.
I am forever in a dark tunnel full of horrors but fragments of ore are gleaming under my fingernails
hell I’m thinking back to the fantasies I had and the stories I wrote for years and years when I was a child after being medically tortured. I can’t think of any way to describe them other than kink.
they weren’t sexual, but they were all about my body as the copper wire in a circuit of power. the ace dyke writing feels connected to that experience; reading it actually helped me connect to some of those memories and most of those are nothing more than scorchmarks. their non-sexuality links to my then non-sexuality and helps me feel clearer and more empowered about what happened.

furiosa is still unfolding to me. I think I need to see it again.
