Gonna queue the next polls to go off after my next deadline cause I've got an hour to kill for once LFG ✌️

I was going to queue the next round of polls today, but tbh, I'm not sure I can deal with running the blog much in the next few weeks. I don't want to give a precise schedule since that would basically doxx me, but my responsibilities for the past week or two have included:

making a 3D model of some specific components of our capstone rover

fully assembling the 3D model of our entire rover

editing all my team's papers (of which there have been two, over 50+ pages each)

writing specific sections of said papers

hosting my family

My responsibilities over the next week:

presentation for a class that doesn't matter as much, but my presentation partner has been sick for over a month and hasn't been physically in class

presentation for my senior engineering capstone

updated 3D models of the components mentioned earlier, because one of the parts it relied on was *discontinued by the supplier this week*

probably fully assembling the updated 3D model of the rover again

engineering drawings of said 3D modeled components

all the math homework i've been putting off for capstone

math final for calculus (my last calculus class was 3 years ago, i'm going through it)

tabling for my capstone team with our poster

I might add the polls to the queue while I have a few minutes, but still suspend when they post until sometime in the first week of May, when I'll be finished with all this stuff and have some breathing space for the first time in a long time.

Running a poll blog is far from the most time consuming thing, but I would really rather have some time in my day to respond to asks while they're up and engage with you guys. Running a poll blog in a fun way requires a lot more free time than I've had over the past few weeks; I've been getting home from school after midnight a lot.

I don't wanna keep you guys waiting but I think early May is the next time I can put the polls up and engage with you guys.

How do we feel about me leaving blazed posts on on this blog? I don't think it'll mess with the results, because you can't blaze to a specific audience. And I think it could be a fun way to interact with the polls.

But I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of anyone putting their money into this. I don't want anyone to feel pressured to put money into like, the Fuckable Robot Bracket. I'm also not sure how I feel about how much attention it would bring to the blog.

actually a city-sized supercomputer! and built from colonies of engineered organisms, no less. i see posts about the allure of terrifying supercomputers and the machines with flesh all the time and they're exactly that

while physically being all that they're also extremely kind and caring. love is stored in the supercomputer. accidentally ruined their friend's life by loving him a bit too much and is desperately trying to fix it
