Something people need to understand about cult leaders is that they have the ability to persuade their heavily brainwashed and compliant followers that they are being persecuted because everyone who isn't in the cult is corrupted by evil and darkness, therefore they want to destroy those who are good, righteous, and follow the "truth" as established by the cult leader.

Getting convicted of 34 felonies will just make followers of the Orange Fool even more convinced that he is right. The fanatical religious fervor and tireless devotion will only grow stronger. They will vote for him even harder in November and we'll likely wind up with a felon for a president. If he was somehow rightfully disqualified from running for president again, d0mest1c t3rr0rism would increase by like 900%.

That's why I'm not really celebrating this guilty verdict too much. I have a very bad feeling about what's coming and how much uglier things can get from here, because this megalomaniac's devotees are ruthless, and they're everywhere. They're your neighbors, your coworkers, and oftentimes your family as well. The only way to protect yourself and those you love is unfiltered hypervigilance.

Something scary happened to me last night. I woke up violently coughing because I had thrown up a little in my sleep and was choking on my own vomit.

I have no idea what the hell caused this to happen. I drank nothing alcoholic yesterday and had herbal tea before bedtime. For dinner, I had one red snapper filet and a small side of garlicky pasta, and I had ice cream for dessert. Maybe it was the ice cream? I can't be certain.

All I know is that what happened really shook me and I'm so glad I didn't choke to death - look at others who died from sleep asphyxiation due to vomit. Hoping this never happens again.

Maybe it's petty to say this, but I hope that every ex-friend of mine (especially those on the local music scene) who thought I had no talent and wouldn't amount to anything musically is eating so much crow now that they're gagging on it. It might have taken me longer to make my dreams a reality, but I'm still doing it and I hope it's making some people from my past reflect on their words and actions.

Too many opportunities are presenting themselves to me and I'm not saying no. I'm not going to doubt myself and I'm not going to be afraid of what So-and-So I knew in like 2011 might say. I am going to twist knobs and bang on keys and wail my lungs out and nobody is going to stop me.
