what the fuck did I just watch 😭😭😭
#On The Line (2022)#like HUH????#Mel. I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this sweetie. YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS#I'm also embarrassed that I got so invested#I naively thought I could multitask studying & watching a movie at the same time#after all my roommate and I did successfully have an SVU marathon last night and I accomplished some stuff#on tonight's SVU binge I did not but I digress#so she went to bed because she has a much healthier sleep schedule than I do#so I'm like “oh haha I'll put on Netflix in the background”#No. my dumbass picks a thriller#I don't even want to say anything about the film itself in case someone wants to watch it#bc the plot is actually compelling if you ignore some other major aspects of the film#and when I say major aspects I mean like the setting itself#also decisions made by the characters?? like HUH????????#I know it's a film. I know it's fiction.#but also#be so fucking for real right now#I feel like that's 1 hour and 44 minutes of my life that I may never get back#but I feel like this can be a good conversation starter with my middle aged male relatives
