YOU HAVE INDUSTRY PLEASE THE POPULATION IS SUFFERING #side note i cant figure out why none of my citizens are educated I HAVE SO MANY OF ALL OF THE SCHOOLS AND MY EDUCATION BUDGET IS MAXXED #i did just discover paths however and i am very very excited about that #today i set up paths and created transport links i have a bus station and a metro :]#problem is i had to remove the trainlines due to thrm being in the way but that means that now the indusyrial district covers the butt of #them #so now even when i unlock trains i dont know how im going to re establish them #side note surely thats going to cause some issues to the other parts of the england map #wait my map is the shape of england where are the trains coming from. this is an island #i am a bit miffed though as the map put me in like. sommerset county but im not allowed to access the sea since its not an unlockable tile #which means that i have NO WATER #ive had to buy all the way up to the river thames to get water and pump all that shit into the bristol channel!#anyway me getting rid of the trains #im just like richard beeching #sigh.#yeah america has their train issues but hey!!!!!! all our shit is privatised and its bad #anyway

#like today i saw a mom and her partner sitting at the library and reading a picture book about a trans person to her kid #and then i went to my dads coworkers boat to meet their cats and her wife was there and it made me so hopeful #its so. they have a little dog and two cats and one of them plays video games while the other reads and theyre honeymoon is in a month #one of thrm builds trails and cabins and the other works on boats. she recently bought an old wooden boat shes gonna fix up and theyre gonn #move to that one eventually #theyve painted the walls of the boat with skies and forests and ufos and cats and they said i could paint on it too #like queerness isnt. very. prominent here?? and seeing these little things of people just. being happily gay and living a domestic life #it makes me feel so excited to get older #:)#atlas screams into the abyss

gotta say one of the worst parts about a progressively worsening disability is that there's seemingly a pretty high chance that the people around you will focus 100% on the idea of you recovering and refuse to do anything to accommodate you that could be seen as "giving up". i am so tired

#my mom being like 'if you have something to help you walk you wont try to walk any more' girl the not walking is what im already doing 💀#its almost like being able to do things safely and with less pain actually makes thrm easier to do. who would have thought #this is mostly about me fantasizing about having a wheelchair so i can go . anywhere that requires more than 15 minutes of standing time #pbbbbt #patch me through to palaven command
