The worker said they called her Big Mama and she’d was a retired logging horse that had been rescued from going to slaughter

The workers explained she had a knack for taking the more nervous horses and animals on the ranch under her wing and making them feel a safe

hiii <33 im not gonna lie to you bestie, reading this ask raised my heartbeat a little, got my blood pumping if u will lol. tbh it's so very flattering as a writer to have people be so passionate about your story and so im so very grateful for that but also im just a girl 😩😩 lmaoooo. you shouldn't apologise! but also I feel like there's a couple of things to clear up so let's run through them 🤠

I don't know what you mean with give up her body? but I'm assuming you mean like, she has sex with jk? and to that I will say that I don't necessarily find it to be like that? I mean yeah, figuratively speaking but they very much have consensual sex that she not only wants but initiates a lot of the times!! the issue of them getting stuck in this vicious cycle of maybe having sex even when she's holding so much inside... I guess all I can say about that is that it happens? 😭 sex can blurs many emotional lines and I feel like its part of... life? idk. but I promise you she's not giving her body up for anyone!!

2. I wouldn't call them stupid 😭 they're actually really nice people! and they're really nice towards her, as well. def don't just see her as the nanny, or at least I've tried to really make sure that I make that clear in my writing! also... the past couple of chapters have been very concentrated in her little heartbreak but in past chapters u can see how she like... goes out and does stuff with her friends and for herself? and also sometimes the story does revolve around them so that's what I mostly write!!

3. this one was a bit... harsh? she looks after soori because it's literally her job. she also really likes her job. and she really likes soori. she loves her, dare I say!! also... jungkook is a really good dad and I also make sure to really make an emphasis on that with my writing! also i feel like you're confused because you say "parents" when technically she only has one parent... but I'll touch more on that in a second!

4. I get what he did when mai and tae came to his house that day was wrong... but also, they are in a relationship that is basically one big conflict of interest. also... they'd just started dating. and he'd just been through something pretty traumatising that his friends had to sort of navigate as well. so even though the execution was very off, I think the term dirty little secret is a bit off as well. very off, actually.

so... ira and jungkook didn't get divorced, actually! she left them... sort of quite literally vanished on them because she didn't want to be a mom anymore. jk actually did a very brave thing and pulled himself together for soori, even putting his own heartbreak aside just so he could be a good parent for her and giving her the emotional support she needed. and yes, im not justifying whatever he's been doing these past couple of chapters but also... I think at the beginning of his relationship with oc he did tell her he still had a lot of healing to do. and that they had to take it slow. did the lines get blurred? yes. but that was very much on both of them, not just her or him individually.

as for Lucy, you're totally allowed to feel any which way about any of my characters but my intention with the advice she gave oc was sort of... to bring perspective into the situation? she does have a point in the sense that oc never spoke to jk about any of what she was feeling, and that she (oc!) deserved to speak her voice and at least try. I liked Lucy being the one delivering this advice because she's a hopeless romantic, a big softie that's like... super in love rn and in a cute and healthy relationship, and I don't believe everything has to be about pride and making people suffer and miss you until they're crawling back to you (that's just my opinion). I actually feel like that would do more harm than good... all things considered!

And if they weren't the first ones, I think they'd hold it over their wife's head.

Now, the Velaryons? I think that's different.

I think Coryls and Rheanys think that it's important, however, it's not terrible if they're not. Weirder shit happens.

17. Technology HC

I have lots of thoughts when it comes to Hiromi and technology. I’m assuming this is whether she is tech savvy? At least, that’s how I’m going to answer.

I think she is okay with technology, in g-rev she messes up kenny’s laptop, but I don’t take that to indicate she’s technologically challenged, rather that Kenny does not use a friendly user interface (i’m convinced he uses some command line stuff). I think there are certain programs Hiromi is good with and others where she struggles. For example, I think she makes great powerpoints and is good with word processors (though maybe not the macros stuff), but she’d struggle with something like excel. But since she doesn’t like being unprepared she either takes a class, looks stuff up online, has books, etc. so I think she’s ok, but would def not have an IT job. 😂

19. Joke HC

Ohhh, this is a bit difficult. I think Hiromi has this reputation of being uptight, which she can be, but I argue that she also has a silly side that she uses to tease or to cheer the team. When it comes to joking, I think her jokes kinda fall flat. For me, silly little pranks are her thing. Nothing too outrageous or where someone would get hurt, just something dumb/silly. For example, there is this post I saw where someone put a leek under the sink and drew a serious face on it then texted the bf to say ‘come quick there’s a serious leak under the sink.’ That’s the kind of stuff I mean by silly prank. I hope that made sense. (if i find the post again i’ll post it on the blog).

I already answered this but I’ll paste it here anyway for this ask.

She acts like an older sister, so I am tempted to say she has a younger sibling. However, I think it’s more likely she has younger cousins or something and she grew up with them and they live nearby. I think her mom used to be a nurse/worked in healthcare (hence why she can look at Takao’s foot and say what’s wrong with it). Her mom left the work force when she was born in order to raise her. Her dad works in education and is a teacher or professor, hence why she loves learning and school. She’s also a little spoiled. I don’t see her being close with her mother mostly because Hiromi seems to keep things close to the chest. She’s very independent but she’s a good kid so her parents don’t worry TOO much. When she leaves with the guys on tournaments and stuff, her parents definitely talk to grandpa kinomiya and mr. dickenson. I can’t see them letting her go on her own without the reassurance that she’ll be safe (HA!) and she does not tell them how crazy things get. Her parents probably know Kenny and Tyson the best out of the guys. I am convinced all three spend time at each other’s places post g-rev. They’re happy she has good friends now, as they know how difficult it was for her when she was young, though they’re suspicious of Kai cause according to them he’s kinda weird.

Hi!! I’m back with more Haitani room shenanigans.

I would bet that the brothers wouldn’t care enough to paint over the generic off white walls that cover the rest of the apartment. They have some streaks and stains along the bottom from Rin’s “gatherings”, but nothing too crazy. At the end of the day they would be pissed if anyone caused real damage to their stuff. The couch is slouchy and the leather Is worn, but there are at least two blankets cozy enough for solid naps or movie nights in. Extra big pillows for additional seating on the floor. None of them match. The rug is a little tatty and the pattern is garish— the fringed edges sometimes get tangled but no one cares enough to fix it.

If there is anything on the walls, it’s a Japanese flag and a movie poster or two (that they stole from the display after seeing in the theater). They’re good talking points for parties at their house; “oh, you haven’t seen it? Maybe you should come over sometime and we could watch it~ 😏”

The brothers have few books in their possession, but you better believe the coffee table has a small collection of classics/art history/philosophical volumes. None of them have ever been cracked open, but Ran thought they would look impressive. And knowing the people in their circle, it works. Maybe Rin snuck in a Jujitsu book. It never hurts to bring up that he’s trained hard enough to kick your ass.

There is space for dancing by the DJ booth, with a strobe light or cheap, plastic, colorful disco ball to set the mood during Rindou’s sets. Good luck if the floor is carpeted— I don’t even want to know what kind of stains are caked on.

Additionally, they have a fold up table they bring out for drinking games that they lean against the wall when not in use. It’s next to the rolled up exercise mat and the various loose dumbbells and weighted medicine balls the use to work out.

ALSO somewhere exists the classic 2000’s fake weeping fig ficus tree. It’s been knocked over so many times the whole of the plastic dirt and plant is in the pot at an odd angle— it’s the only way they could get it to stand up on it’s own without tipping over 🥲

Oh don't get me wrong most fandom is great! Most of the Scream fandom is pretty okay and they make really good art and fanfiction and even though I don't read x Reader stuff since most of it doesn't have amab gay men with Stu or Randy or Dewey, plus I'm just not a big self inserter in the first place, I know those blogs work hard on their stuff and they seem like nice people. No gay experience is universal sure, and some few gay men might be like that, but to imply it "makes sense" just cuz you want to project and fetishize maleness and mlm romance and 'deep' tragic gay love stories is so insulting and non-progressive and what we've actively fought against.

So uh yeeah you can put this in the tags for everyone to see, you guys can like or love him or whatever snd thats fine, but I'll never see Billy Loomis as anything but the str8 psychopath he is and Im glad Sidney drop kicked his ass. He'll never be gay rep to me And I'll continue to thirst over Stu instead, who killed people because he was a gay/bi boy who was already mentally ill and in love with his trash friend and would've killed anyway regardless, and not because he's Billy's idiot lapdog who'd uwu do anything for love like everyone thinks. (Plus even his actor thinks he's gay and the writer for Scream says he could be too, which is nice to see support for that theory).

also yesss exactly gay rage is a thing and it can even be directed against women sometimes but it behaves so differently to straight man rage and the equivalence is fucking stupid

honestly i don't really thirst over any of these characters, they're not my type lol (absolute hatecrime against me personally that dewey was described as "hunky" in the script notes and then they decided to cast yet another random twink), but you go right ahead! Stu is more like my best friend that's very misguided and probably gonna kill me but also... he's really fun at parties so....

i haven't fully delved into the fandom yet bc i don't want spoilers for the sequels, but i look forward to seeing the good, the bad and the ugly when i'm fully caught up
