You, Exalted player. Having trouble naming your new character or NPC? As far back as first edition, you could have fired up Voidstate's Exalted Name Generator* and gotten a couple dozen names, easy, and only a small percentage of them would be "Moon Moon" or "of of of of of". But some time in the past year or so, that site went down and now we're back to naming things by hand.

That was where they started, each anteing their wristwatches as Katsuya dealt the first hand and summarily lost. Along the way, Seto lost his watch, his tie, his suit jacket, and his waistcoat. But he had gotten Katsuya down to nothing but his gold necklace. It figured the gangster would give up his underwear before his beloved accessory.

He peered up to watch Katsuya drain the last of his whiskey. Watch his Adam's apple bob as he swallowed, seemingly taking the saliva from Seto's mouth at the same time.

Seto cleared his throat. "It seems you're fresh out of luck."

Katsuya smiled easily. "Already that sure you've won, huh?"

"You're down to your necklace. The odds aren't in your favor."

Unlike his companion, Seto could afford to lose a few hands. Victory was within his grasp. There was no question he loved to win. Court cases, arguments, billiards, even something as juvenile as strip poker—what mattered was proving his superiority. Did that make him a gracious winner? Of course not. But that never stopped him before.

Katsuya didn't mind, though. If anything, the man was subtly flexing his biceps. Perhaps he thought it would throw Seto off his game. While it made Seto's mouth dry, it wouldn't stop him from claiming his rightful victory.

"See, that's the thing about luck. It can turn at the drop of a dime. Bet," Katsuya purred as he toyed with his necklace.

"Call," replied Seto, voice and expression as hardened as steel.

He discarded three cards, and Katsuya discarded for four. He stared across the table at the other man. Katsuya didn't lack a poker face, technically. The man was consistently jovial and joking that it became difficult to determine when and if he had a good hand. Seto played in the opposite direction, using the professional face he'd cultivated over the years.

Mirth danced in Katsuya's amber eyes as he said, "Check."

Seto merely nodded and revealed his three sixes. Katsuya, however, boasted a flush.

Scowling, Seto ripped off his unbuttoned shirt to his lover's wolf whistle. "Your luck can't hold out forever," he snarled. Afterward, he knocked back the last of his drink and slammed the glass on the table.

"Heh, wanna bet on that?"

Oh, Seto intended to wipe that smirk off his face, one way or another.

Yet hand after hand, Katsuya won until Seto was left in nothing but his boxer briefs. Seto should probably be more irked at the sudden reversal of fortunes, but something hot caused his stomach to swoon.

Plus, he hadn't lost yet. In the end, the only hand that mattered was this final one.

Seto shuffled before dealing five cards each. Katsuya whistled as his eyes scanned his cards. Seto didn't react, no matter how obliquely the other man tried to goad one. Though he narrowed his eyes when Katsuya cheerfully declared he was keeping his hand as is.

The menace licked his lips before speaking, "This is it, babe. Gotta say it's been fun, though. We really should do this more often."

Shivers wracked through Seto as Katsuya's leer raked down his chest. He quickly recomposed himself and revealed his teeth in a sharp grin. "Yes, I'm happy to beat your pants off you any day."

Katsuya laughed. "Show me whatcha got, then."

"Full house." Seto jutted out his chin. His gaze was unflinching.

A pregnant pause before Katsuya fanned his cards across the table. "Straight flush. All hearts. I win."

Seto's jaw dropped. Dumb and sheer luck, that was the only explanation.

"C'mon, Seto, it's time to pay up."

Teeth gritted, Seto threw his cards down on the table. For several beats, they merely stared at one another, neither making a move. Until Seto rose to his feet, and without breaking eye contact, he slipped his thumbs into his waistband and tugged it loose from his hips. His underwear slipped down his legs and pooled at his feet, baring his completely nude body to his lover's increasingly ravenous gaze.

Katsuya sucked in a sharp breath.

Seto's skin crawled, but he refused to crumble under the weight of his lover's heated attention. "What? It's not as if you haven't seen me naked."

"Yeah"—Katsuya's muscles rippled as he climbed atop the table and clasped Seto's hip—"and it takes my breath away every fuckin' time. You're just too damn beautiful."

I love Teen Wolf (well known fact), I also love Horses (going 14 years strong on this one) and there's this game called Rival Stars which I absolutely love...and go insane over.

Anyways point of this post is that I'm going to assign horses that I have in Rival Stars to Teen Wolf Characters :D

My criteria in choosing the horses is 1. Pretty coat that matches the character, 2. Type of breed aligning with what I think they'd ride the horse in (racing, steeplechase, cross country) and 3. Anything else that makes me compelled to line up the horse with the character (be it the name, the stats, or just the personality/lore of the horse that I've created in my head)

Scott McCall - Solar Eclipse

A Selle Français mare that has a copper chestnut coat diluted with champagne and dapples. She's got a calm, willing temperament. Scott and Solar Eclipse compete in Steeplechase!

Stiles Stilinski - Sandwich Thief

Sandwich Thief is a Thoroughbred Stallion that is unashamedly my most favorite horse in Rival Stars regardless of stats. His coat is a blood bay with no dilution and he's got blotch dapples. He has a headstrong temperament and can form deep loyal bonds with the rider. Stiles and Sandwich Thief compete in Flat Racing!

Allison Argent - Equine Effect

An Arabian Mare with a double dilution champagne on a flaxen chestnut coat. Her pattern is a roaning blanket appaloosa. She is inquisitive and has a sassy attitude, especially during training. Allison and Equine Effect compete in Cross Country!

Lydia Martin - Starry Truth

Star is a Thoroughbred mare with a grey-diluted golden bay coat and a marbled leopard pattern which in my opinion looks soo glitz and glam. (Her tackset is really pretty too) She can be a bit stubborn especially if she hasn't trained in a bit but when she's not, her potential really shines through. Lydia and Starry Truth compete in Cross Country!

Jackson Whittemore - Champion’s Chronicle

Champion is a Thoroughbred stallion with a copper chestnut coat, no dilutions, no flashy markings either. He’s a hard worker and mirrors Jackson in a quite number of ways. Coming from a line of exemplary horses, Champion’s Chronicle is really a Champion on the racetrack. Jackson and Champion’s Chronicle compete in Flat Racing!

For both Inktober and for the Encanto OC appreciation event hosted by @encanto-extended-edition. I'm late, I know. For the "extra bits" portion, I'm shifting focus from Séamus to another OC.

Name: Princess Dawn Glow Species: Draft mule Color: Flaxen chestnut Owner: Luisa Madrigal

Luisa is one of the tallest and heaviest people in the Encanto, thanks to a combination of her magical gift and a lifetime of bodybuilding. Thus the only horses she can really ride are draft horses. She received a draft mule as a gift a few years ago and has dedicated a good portion of her free time to taking care of her. Princess Dawn Glow is absolutely pampered. Luisa does use her for drawing carts or wagons every now and then, but she mostly uses her for leisurely rides, even if they're rare. Despite having very little free time, Luisa still dedicates several chunks of her day to caring for her mule. Dawn serves as an excuse for Luisa to take some time each day to decompress. She knows how much pressure Luisa is under and will intentionally draw out her evening routine for Luisa's benefit. She's happy to listen as Luisa vents to her about the day. And while Dawn can have some good conversations with Antonio, she rarely needs him to communicate with Luisa. The two have an understanding that doesn't require words.

Dawn doesn't have anything against Séamus as a person, but she does not like him in his wolf form. No matter how much Antonio tries to convince her Séamus is perfectly safe and friendly, Dawn can't help but feel nervous around him. The wolfhounds are pushing it. But the bush dogs can hang out with her as long as they behave themselves. She also straight up hates Parce, as do the donkeys. Antonio has to keep Parce away from them.

On a meta level, Princess Dawn Glow is named after Twilight Sparkle. But if Luisa had known about MLP in the 50s, she absolutely would've intentionally named her mule after Twilight. Who knows, maybe Bruno will stumble across the Spanish dub of the show on Future+ and introduce Luisa to it.

The outfit depicted here comes straight out of the concept art for Luisa. I thought it would make an excellent riding outfit.
