Encanto AU - Bruno's Kids Names 1

I'm thinking of giving Bruno Madrigal triplets, 2 boys & 1 girl. The 1st being a boy, the second being a girl, & the youngest a boy.

These are some possible names for his first son, whose power is to reveal the spirits of the lingering dead to give families the chance to say goodbye before sending them to the afterlife. A very sweet, compassionate, & empathetic boy, who always lends an ear to those in emotional pain. He will likely grow up to be a grief counselor. However, I also see him, much like Luisa, as tending to put other people's needs before his own as a result of him trying to help others grieve.

In this way, if he ever ends up losing someone, he's honestly the sort to put his own grieving on the backburner as he helps others who were affected by that loss to come to terms with the passing first.

He'll likely have to find a way to learn to grieve while he helps others do the same. You know, helping others but also not ignoring his own pain.

Keep in mind that there are 2 other polls & one of the girl's possible names will be Adriana.

From oldest to youngest:

Enele Pedro Delmar Madrigal Morales ~ June 26th, 1929. The gift of hydrokinesis. The true extrovert of the family, Enele is a person of spontaneity and adventure! He loves coming up with games for his siblings and cousins to play as they get chores done around town and in Casita. Floors need to be cleaned? Okay, let's turn the house into a pool to wash away the day's dirt! He never tires of using his gift to have fun while assisting others.

Esmeralda Leilani Alma Madrigal Morales ~ February 1st, 1932. The gift of empathy. Quiet and a little withdrawn, Esmeralda takes the most strongly after her father. Her gift and personality make her a mediator by nature. Able to express her empathetic abilities through perforance, she can soothe tense feelings, allowing for others to work through difficult situations with clear minds and open hearts instead of closing themselves off. And if you're not looking for direct magical emotional mending, she is always a ready shoulder to cry on. Despite her typically shy nature, she loves to sing and dance, as well as read aloud the melodramas her parents write together.

Evangelina Remedios Anamaria Madrigal Morales~ July 30th, 1934. The gift of flight. The spitting image of her mother in almost every aspect, Evangelina, affectionately nicknamed "angelita," is the child who wants to know everything about anything! She'll spend hours devouring books, fluttering about the town to look at anything that catches her eye, and will talk your ear off about the things that excite her. Like Antonio's gift, her wings lean a little more on the side of indulgence rather than 'helpfulness,' however, she does use her ability to fly as a way to travel quickly across town, bringing small deliveries or messages from people who otherwise would have to go by foot on the cobblestone streets.

like yea when i was. freaking 16. i saw buccellati as a very parental figure to the passione kids. but im 20 now and im overcome with dread at how the entire world is at his shoulders the entire season. its terrifying. and you reduce him to the mom friend? whatever is actually going on with him is much more intriguing

Encanto AU - Bruno's Kids Names 3

Bruno's 2nd son & youngest of the triplets, he'll have the power to scry. Like, he can find & view the locations of people or things. I imagine a power like this would be very useful for those who are forgetful.

He will be forgetful & scatterbrained, prone to losing things, but at the same time is super good at relocating those same things.

He really only uses his power to help others because he doesn't want to rely on it too much. Has a crystal ball in his room & carries around a small, silver hand mirror. Both help him to focus his power the same way that Bruno's ritual helps him to focus his.

I actually don't know for sure which one I prefer. The other two times before, I at least had a name that I was leaning towards, but not this time. I mean, I like Santiago. But I also like Sergio.

So, I'd appreciate any help.

I know it’s probably been said before but as an artist I can’t help but praise the character design of encanto

Like look at this whole cast of characters who are all related to eachother and still so distinct! One of my all time favorite facts about this movie is that the family are color coordinated! I love that so much because not only does it make it easier for the audience to tell which character comes from what side of the family but it’s also visually appealing!

Also the fact everyone’s outfit contains symbolism relating to their gift!? genius. and mirabels skirt being her own personal scrapbook where you can see she has everyone’s symbol a clever way to display her genuine pride for her family! Isabelas dress being closer to almas magenta than the other members of julietas family emphasizing shes closer with alma and is seen as her successor! I especially love how after “what else can I do?” She changes her dress colour to a dark blue representing that she’s finally found herself and doesn’t want to be just almas clone! She feels more comfortable with her own family and shows it by representing their color!

Also let’s talk about how pepas family all wear warm hues as shown to be bright, fun and ultimately happy. Which makes a lot of sense considering how pepas gift requires her to be happy all the time to avoid “bad weather”. Her family also wear warm tones to possibly help her maintain this and also because compared to what we see in the movie pepas children have a little less pressure and are considered more fun to be around! Also the fact green and magenta are opposite colors on the color wheel and Bruno and alma have a strained relationship. genius.

I just want to appreciate the character design because I feel like it’s just so creative and has had so much thought and heart put into it <3
