Alhaitham still doesn’t show off in the classic way. Definitely doesn’t go out of his way to make you view him doing certain things

But if the opportunity presents itself naturally… then why not take it?

I’m talking lifting up the hem off his shirt to wipe sweat off his brow when he’s working out with/near you, changing shirts just a little bit slower than he usually would if you’re around, putting a bit more effort in winning a debate he’s in with another scholar when you’re with him, flexing his bicep when you hold his arm

Sports a smug little smile when he sees you affected by him

If you get flustered and smack his chest to tell him to stop, he'll just give you a slight smile and tell you he has no idea what you're talking about

Lyney

As if this guy won't spend ages perfecting that trick where he pulls a bouquet from nowhere so he can gradually pull out bigger and bigger bouquets to give you

He already practices his tricks almost constantly, dead set on perfecting every little thing

But with you on his mind?

That spark to do his best grows into a fervent flame like no other

Lynette doesn't complain about his childish wish to impress you as long as it's improving his performance (and making him happier), but she definitely rolls her eyes at him when she overhears him practising his line delivery for when he gifts you the rainbow roses he bought earlier

He personally invites you to every one of his shows, and though he understands if you can't make it every time, he smiles so wide when you say yes that you're tempted to push aside all your other commitments anyway

After the show, he'll pull you aside and ask what you thought, all while trying to appear as if he isn't nervously awaiting your approval

I’ve specified Morax here because this is based in the universe of my Zhongli x Cloud God Reader head cannon (from my Where’s My Kiss? drabbles)

Look, he’s a young, proud, powerful god with his eye on the lovely cloud god that he sees roaming above sometimes, and he can’t help but try to do certain things hoping you’ll be watching from your domain

Morax in his dragon form taking more causal flights around Liyue than he used to, certainly not because he knows you can see his magnificent true form from your palace in the heavens when he flies past

Although he doesn’t often involve himself in battle unless necessary, he’s found himself allowing the yaksha to spar with him with the excuse that he believes it will test their limits (and definitely not because he wants you to see how powerful he is)

You agreed to help him train the yaksha, and as you stand at the side of the small battleground Morax locks eyes with you as he does his finishing move in a 'cool guys don't look at explosions' way

Definitely smirks a little when he sees how it affects you

Itto

Actually says the phrase 'Babe, look at me!' all the time

Literally will do anything and then turn to you to receive his head pat and praise

Loves to flex (both literally and figuratively)

Takes extra special care of his horns and hair the night before he's going to see you just to fish for extra compliments

If you don't immediately acknowledge the extra care he took and the extra shine on his horns, he'll clear his throat and place his hand on his head to make you look up at his horns

If you still don't compliment him or act impressed (which you've definitely done just to tease him) he'll get sooo pouty, poor baby :((

But of course, you always act so impressed in the end, often turning it up to eleven jokingly

Itto will take any and all compliments seriously though, no matter how dramatic you're acting with them

The Traveller and Paimon had found themselves in Inazuma again, this time just for some fun.

To their suprise one of the first people they encountered was the infamous Arataki Gang having what seemed to be a meeting in the middle of nowhere making an absolute ruckus with Shinobu stood with her arms crossed wishing she was somewhere else.

"Alright, gang! Today's meeting is super important! We gotta decide what to buy for our new, amazing, drop dead gorgeous, special member....AKA my girlfriend!" Arataki Itto's voice echoed.

"Well, if it isn't Bull Chucker! Fancy seeing you hear...making a LOT of noise as usual...." Itto turned his head and noticed the Traveller and Paimon making their way to where he was stood, a beam making its way on his face.

"Well, if it's isn't my amigos, the Traveller and little Lavender Melon Paimon!!" he boomed out.

"Hello, Traveller and Paimon it is nice to see you once again." Kuki said calmly in contrast to Itto's voice.

"Hey guys! Nice to see you too! What are you all up too? You seem awfully excited Itto....well more excited than usual..." Paimon asked with confusion.

"Well I am glad you asked, we have a newest member who also happens to be-"

Before Itto could finish his sentence, you approached, holding a pot that steamed with a delicious aroma.

You had a confident yet gentle smile on your face as Itto looked at you mesmerised. The Traveller definitely didn't miss this romantic gaze.

"Sorry I'm late, everyone," you said, setting the pot down. "I brought food for everyone too eat!"

"Y/N! You're just in time! Everyone, meet Y/N from the L/N clan AND my girlfriend. She has joined the Arataki gang to be in charge of making meals, since she loves to cook for people!"

"Hello all, nice to meet you. I have heard so much about you! All good things don't worry!" You chuckle as Paimon and The traveller looked back and forth between you and Itto looking stunned.

"The L/N clan?!?! How on earth did you pull a member of the rich, powerful and famous L/N clan? I suppose your good at some things...."

"HUH?! Shut it Lavender Melon!! The way we met isn't important-"

"Oh, it's rather romantic, don't you think Itto!" you wrapped your arm around Itto's after interrupting him and resting your head on his arm, as he sweatdropped.

"He broke into my residence to get some flowers, but I caught him and then we got chatting and obviously I fell in love with him!"

"WHAT?!?!?" Paimon and The traveller shouted as you and Kuki laughed and Itto couldn't look up.

"What can I say....I am a charisma king, I must say!"

Tighnari

Despite being in a relationship with the smartest person you know, his knowledge clearly didn't rub off on you because you felt like you were getting dumber by the day.

It all started when Tighnari had asked you and Collei to go identify some mushrooms to distinguish if the were edible or not to update the Avidya Forest Survival Guide.

After seeing a mushrooms that 'had to be edible' in your terms you decided to take a bite. Whilst the flavour was lovely to start off the with dizziness that came after was a clear indicator that it was probably poisonous

"Collei! Who is this and what's going on?!" you see through your lidded eyes a high pitched flying fairy and someone who looks like they are from out of Teyvat.

"Traveller, Paimon! Perfect timing! There is no time to explain but please help me take her to Master Tighnari!!"

Next thing you know you pass out completely and wake up with Tighnari sat on your bed checking your temperature and checking for any rashes.

"Tigh...nari??" you mumble reaching for him as he holds your hand.

"Ah Y/N, you are awake. Now what did I tell you and what have I always told you about the mushrooms you eat? What made you think eating this mushroom would benefit you! You have to listen to me or worse things could happen and you-" He stopped rambling and let out a big sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I'm sorry, Nari...I promise I won't do it again..." you were now sat up looking guilty as he engulfed you in a hug that you reciprocated.

"Don't worry, just....be careful. I don't want to lose you."

"AHEM!!! Sorry to interrupt but the are still 2 very confused people stood here!!" Paimon burst out.

"My apologies, this Y/N a forest ranger and my girlfriend, she also takes care of Collei from time to time. Y/N, this is the Traveller and Paimon that I have told you about." Tighnari casually said patting your head as he got up to go to his table.

"Hey guys! It is a pleasure to meet you! I apologise for the circumstances...I can be rather clumsy at times..." you chuckle slightly as you sweatdropped.

"Nice to meet you too! I hope we become close friends! We didn't know you had a girlfriend Tighnari....it must be refreshing since you are opposites"

"Quite! It Master Tighnari says no about something I can go to Master Y/N and she will say yes!!" Collei happily exposes you and herself as you sweatdrop and Tighnari's head snaps back.

"COLLEI!!" both you and Tighnari shout as the Traveller and Paimon sit there chuckling.

Lyney

It was very dark at night and the Traveller and Paimon had just finished doing a commission for Katheryne and decided that the weather was nice enough to go on a scenic walk.

What they didn't expect to see on a cliff was a figure who looked like Lyney and another figure opposite him sat on a picnic blanket.

After some consideration they both mutually decided to approach you both.

What they didn't know is that you and Lyney were on a date, something you barely went on due to being busy. Lyney was the most romantic person you know and he always knew how to show you magic that you had never seen before that sent your heart aflame.

"My dearest rainbow rose, it pains me we cannot spend time together as romantically as we used to...when we are at work we are forced to keep is hidden..."

He holds your hands tightly and when he removes them a rainbow rose was in one hand and a box of expensive chocolates was in your other's you embrace each other.

"Uhhh, I hope we aren't interrupting anything...." Paimon suddenly speaks up scaring you both as you jolt away from each other pretending nothing happened.

"O-oh Traveller and Paimon!! What are you doing here?? I mean nice to see you again...." Lyney chuckles nervously as he hadn't intended for anyone to see him and you. You relationship was secret after all.

"Nice to see you too....but we should be asking what you are doing here embracing a woman!! And why do you look suspicious?!" Paimon laid all the questions on him, he let out a sigh giving up.

"Well, this woman here is Y/N, my personal assistant and also....my girlfriend. We have been keeping our relationship secret because it's a personal thing we don't want others to see."

"Hello Traveller and Paimon! It's lovely to meet you! Lyney has nothing but praises for you both!" you speak up smiling warmly.

"Hi there Y/N, nice to meet you too!! We are shocked you have a girlfriend Lyney considering how secretive you are...."

Lyney let out a heartly laugh intertwining his hand with yours.

"Well, I too would've said that 1 year ago but Y/N managed to steal a magicians heart, the hardest trick of all." Lyney looks at you lovingly as you look back at him lovingly too.

"Well, you guys are so wholesome and sweet, we are in support of your secret-"

Everyones head snapped around to see Charlotte the Journalist taking pictures.

"CHARLOTTE NO!!" everyone shouted as The Traveller and Paimon sais their farewells and quickly caught her making sure she deleted those photos for good.

CYNO

✧ kisses your shoulders. it’s a simple action and very easy to do, plus it’s a lot more subtle. he only ever does it as a hello kiss, or if he’s feeling just a bit touched starved. you could be rambling on and on about your day as passerby’s gawk as someone of your status walks directly next to the general, and he’d stare at you with full adoration in his eyes before leaning towards you and pressing his lips to your shoulder.

✧ your finger pads. the first time he held your hand, he absolutely fell in love with the small contact. he loves how easy it is to initiate, and how it keeps you close to him. he especially loves when you squeeze his hand tighter, the tips of your fingers clinging into the back of his hand. whenever you two walk together hand in hand, he’ll always bring yours up to his lips, placing multiple pecks on each of your fingertips. the affection never fails to make both your cheeks tint a shy pink.

✧ loves your cheeks (on your face) loves to press the biggest kisses on them, pulling away with an obvious ‘mwah!’ sound. he does it all the time, no matter the situation. you always complain to him, saying he rarely ever kisses you on the lips which makes him have to tell you just how cute he thinks your cheeks are. once he starts to rapid fire compliment you, a blush rises to your face, causing him to practically squeal as he places yet another huge kiss to your face.

He has a very formal way of texting: well structured, complete with commas, semi-colomns, dashes, and quotation marks. It's not that he doesn't feel close with you to speak more casually, it's just that it's his natural way of speaking/texting (he already thought he was using casual texting).

Apologizes a lot if you comment on his manner of texting and might try to make it a bit more 'casual,' though it felt too off when he tried it, so you asked him to just text what he's comfortable with.

Sometimes asks you the slang terms used in the newer generation. "Dear, what does sjfskflak stand for? You mentioned that yesterday and I could not find the definition for it." Or even "Dear, what is U.W.U.? Is that some organization from Sumeru? It sounds quite familiar."

He will react to the Reels/TikToks you send him, though he says he will get back to it later on his free time (he always remembers).

There are times when he completely gets drowned in his worked and hasn't said goodnight to you or view your texts the whole night (He apologizes the next day.) Though his instinct is to always greet you good morning once he sees the sun peeking through his window, it's a reminder for him, and he never missed a day to say "Good morning, my dearest. Did you sleep well last night?"

Reading his texts feel loud and lively, it's chaotic- a lot of times he uses uppercase letters, stickers, GIFs, and emojis to express his emotions even further. It's like you can really hear his voice when he texts.

Replies with silly stickers and meme reactions when he's either reading your messages or when he talks about something.

Will literally send his entire IG/Tiktok feed of memes or cool stuff to you.

Typos and wrong spellings all the time.

Itto will update you constantly, he'll send practically everything that reminds him of you "this beetle has ur vibe idk y" or anything mildly interesting that he's doing because you're also his bff got slushies but soem brat ran into me snd spillde it"

Expect constant facetiming for him to show you random stuff, tell a story that just happened, if he's bored, when he's walking through a dark alley and is secretly scared, or if he feels lonely while taking a dump for too long. He's also the type to make silly faces or poses when you accept his call.

He always finds a way to make the most mundane things sound like such s story to tell.

When he feels that your mood isn't vivbing that day, he will always try to lighten the mood through memes or tell you to "lay it on me, my campadre" and do whatever he can think of to cheer you up when he makes a surprise visit (comes over that night with your favorite snack, holding a flower in his mouth, and giving you a rizzed up look to make you smile)

You change his name too frequently it gets confusing sometimes (recent names: beetle dude, Gordon Ramslay, Deoderant, CheesePuff, Guy from McDonalds)

There could only exist one: He's either incredibly busy from work and unresponsive for hours/days or he suspiciously has too much free time to be replying a little too quickly to your messages. (He lets you know beforehand if he will be inactive for a while)

Loves using every cute, funny, sweet pet name when texting you. His personal favorite is either babe or one of the many funny ones he can think of like sweet thang, boss, nerd, etc. (if that doesn't offend you)

When he does respond after being gone for days- Childe will send the most random, out of context photos of what he's been up to recently, out of no where (Photo of him on the top of a skyscraper antena, inside a submarine, Mt. Everest, an illegal substance den-) Often this is because this is where his work usually takes him and at the very moment he was done with work he figured he'd text you.

Sends screenshots from chats with his siblings or send photos about his family, talks about them A LOT.

Loves teasing you in a subtle, flirty way in his texts, it his way of showing his attraction and affection towards you. Sometimes, he does this during a time when you're outside or if you're out with another guy just to make sure you're reminded that only he knows how to make you blush. Imagining your reactions also amuses him (he knows exactly what to say to make you flusterred and embarassed)

Sends photos of things Ayaka made and things Ayaka she did recently because he acts like a proud grandfather when it comes to her.

ITTO

It was undeniable that your boyfriend gave the best hugs. With his large build, you slotted into his tight grip like a puzzle piece - feeling the warmth surrounding you on all sides. His arms radiated safety and reprieve, and when he spoke you’d feel the vibrations through his chest in a comforting lull.

Itto is definitely big on cuddling in general. He’d have you slotted in his arms whilst the two of you relaxed after a long day, or hold you close in the mornings. You were his personal stuffed toy, and he adored spending time with you in his embrace.

Of course, there’d often be times with you holding him - his head resting peacefully in your lap after he’d just been bailed out of jail by Kuki Shinobu, his weight pressing into your thighs as you stroked his thick hair. Itto would be the type to fall asleep whilst cuddling, and you would drift off with him - or at least, until his snoring broke the tranquil silence. There was rarely ever a dull moment with the oni, after all.

XIAO

Xiao was hesitant at first to hold you. After all, misfortune had befallen those he’d previously treasured, and so it took some time for him to relax into your embrace.

However, once he discovered the joy of cuddling, he would never be able to live without it. You’d chuckle at how cute he was - tentatively pulling you closer. If you ever remarked on it, he’d immediately flush and pull away to vehemently refute the notion that he’d crave such a mundane thing. Secretly however, he loves it - especially when you pat his head, trailing your fingers around his features softly until he drifted off into a peaceful dream. Perhaps his karmic debt was more bearable with you around.

On rare occasions, you’d have the pleasure of waking up before Xiao to find yourself entangled in his arms - to which you’d usually kiss his closed eyelids softly, intertwining your fingers with his as he slowly opened his eyes. You liked to rest your head in the smooth slope of skin where his neck met his shoulder, breathing in his scent and gently rocking back and forth. Although he’d never admit it, Xiao enjoyed nothing more than being in your embrace.

GOROU

Gorou’s canine qualities lent the general to having a penchant for physical affection. He’d usually always be touching you somehow - whether it was a brush of your hands as you attended to your duties around Watatsumi Island, or a casual hand placed tepidly at your waist. When the two of you cuddled, you couldn’t help but tease him for his furiously wagging tail - gently fondling his ears as he only huffed and pulled you closer.

Gorou would love to gently nibble at your skin - not in a sexual way, merely as a catalyst for expressing his affection. His tail would thump against the couch as he buried his face into the crook of your neck, hands cradling your form to his.

After some time, Gorou would eventually cease his incessant wriggling and settle down, relaxing. His eyes would droop as he felt safe with you, drowsily registering the feeling of your hand against his cheek. Gorou would be the type to snuggle deeper into your arms, subconsciously pressing his cheek into yours as the two of you drifted off.

AYATO

Ayato was a sly man, and so a semblance of regularity in physical touch was established early in your relationship. He’d delight in teasing you endlessly - leaning closer than usual or pulling you against him in an attempt to see your blush.

In private, the man would be clingy to a ridiculous extent - who would’ve guessed that the Yashiro Commissioner would be clasping his partner’s waist tightly and pleading them to cuddle a little longer? Whether it was a back hug or a fond morning embrace, Ayato was addicted to your touch.

His skin would be cool and smooth, smelling sweetly of something crystalline you couldn’t quite place. He’d be the type to lovingly trace your features, thumbing over your lips as he merely gazed at you - spare hand drawing shapes on the small of your back. Ayato would greatly enjoy cuddling with you as a means of relieving stress after his duties as Commissioner, carding his fingers through your hair in a calming manner. Just like how the ripples in a perturbed pond eventually dissipate, so too would Ayato’s energy as he finally found peace of mind in your arms, finally closing his eyes in utter contentment at being with you.

Arataki Itto x Reader

The Arataki gang was running away from the Grand Narukami Shrine... The main reason was that Itto did something there and you guys didn't want to go behind the bars again. As you run down the stone stairs, you get lower and lower, but the guards are on your heels. After a few sharp turns, you manage to shake off the guards. Laughing, you and the Arataki gang ran on until you came to a log leading across the river. Itto, as the leader of his team, let the boys pass first. When it was your turn, you accidentally stepped on a slippery surface and you fell down in the water. Everyone who crossed the log turned around in horror. After the big splash in the water, Itto recovered and began to take off his jacket, which he threw at Akira. In a second, Itto was jumping down for you.

The Arataki gang ran down to the river while Itto swam quickly towards you. It was a few days after the New Year, so it was still very cold. When even the adrenaline wasn't enough to pump blood through your body, Itto finally reached you. He swam to shore with you and took you in his arms. Your body hadn't felt this cold since it was in Dragonspine. You were shaking and grinding your teeth. It felt like your eyelids were frozen and you couldn't open your eyes.

„Boss! Are you two alright?"

„How are they?"

„They look so cold-"

You heared voices of your friends filled with worry. You weren't unconscious, but everything was mixing together. Your body sensed a heat source on one side despite your wet and cold clothes. Thanks to Itto's hot blood, he felt no cold on him. He was pleasantly warm as always. But one thing has changed about him. The tone of his voice. He sounded so... serious. That didn't happen often. „Make a fire, boys." Itto said and they all took their positions to start the fire. Akira only managed to return Itto's jacket before leaving. Your confused mind could not perceive more.

It was already dark when you woke up. The cold has finally left you, you were nice and warm. It could have been because of the fire that was warming your right side. But what about the other one? You were leaning against a warm heat source, among other things it was soft and comfortable. And pretty big. And it was breathing. 'huh' your inner voice spoke. Your still slightly wet head lifted up and looked directly into those red eyes of the leader of the gang. Itto held you in his arms bridal style while sitting on the ground. You lost yourself in his warm gaze, ignoring the fact that he was shirtless and his jacket was covering your already warm (however underneath naked) body.

„Well won't you look at that- Our pretty princess woke up from her nap~." He spoke softly so you wouldn't freak out. It was almost a whisper. Your memory soon came back, you remembered what happened and the voices that were worried about you. On the other hand, you thought it was nice of them, you could see how they cared for you. You slowly looked around until you saw them on the other side of the fire sleeping side by side. It brought a smile to your lips, then you turned back towards your savior who was smiling back at you. „You wouldn't mind if I kept sleeping, right?" You asked him. „Just keep sleeping, your clothes are still drying anyway. Aaaand besides... I really like how I can hold you close to me." He put his head on top of yours and started to snuggle up to you. Even though you were in danger of freezing to death moments ago, this was the best moment in Inazuma in the entire time you've known Itto.

ITTO was puzzled when his good friend kuki shinobu, invited one of her good friends to one of the ARATAKI gangs' world famous hangouts.

for one thing, all members were allowed a plus one to more important celebrations. for the other as the leader, he was not allowed to show favoritism among people affiliated with it.

but how was he not allowed to show favoritism when he already knew you very well?

he could make an exception for you though... the guys wouldn't mind.

you had caught ARATAKI ITTO's eyes from even before he met you, formally that was. he was a regular at the only and best, may he say, food stand that offered exclusively 100% bean free meals. he had noticed you from the corner of his eye every time he came around. you were always helping out the owner of the restaurant, uttering few words yet working yourself to the bone.

you didn't serve him, you worked at the back yet he found himself looking forward to talk to you.

you always walked home by yourself, he knew that. so one night he coincidentally ended up walking home by your side, even if his was at the other side of the village.

your daily walks became a routine, though very quiet you were good company. you listened well and suggested good ideas, something which some of the guys lacked. even if he had to run halfway across he village to get home in time (as to not worry granny oni), it was worth it. after all, he would do anything to get to see you.

you too got closer

until... he noticed a strange pattern. i mean he wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for kuki, but still.

it was very strange, indeed.

whenever he saw you he felt happier, smiling like an idiot, even if he had lost 1,000 onikabuto matches, even if he had accidentally consumed beans.

you made his day 100% more awesome.

he liked you, he could say.

Caregiver Kuki Shinobu!

Shinobu would be a top tier caregiver, honestly she would probably love watching over you! She already is used to it with Itto so your calmer nature is actually very rejuvenating for her.

Whenever you regress she always takes out some of your favorite plushies and sits out some coloring books. Shinobu would greet you by popping one of the stuffed animals out from around a corner and speaking in a higher pitch voice while waving its arms around.

Whenever it’s Coloring Time she typically puts on one of your shows and lays down to draw/color with you! Randomly she’ll have one of the plushies compliment your works too :3!

Genshin Characters and Kisses <3

Every kiss is perfect and romantic. They cup your cheeks gently and look into your eyes and then tell you they love you. Respectful but not restrained. They are perfectly content with just loving you like this. After the kiss finishes they probably rest their forehead against yours.

Diluc, ZHONGLI, Kazuha, Ayato, Kokomi

Really nervous atmosphere most of the time. They just overthink it so much and want it to be nice for you. Might even panic when you guys lean in and accidentally knock your teeth or headbutt you. Always holds your hand during it, even if their hands go sweaty.

Ayaka, SUCROSE, Ganyu

Ask you if they can kiss you every time because they don’t want to make you uncomfortable. Probably prefer kissing your hand or your forehead because its more proper <3.

Perched against a rock on the outskirts of Inazuma City, you struggle to ignore the stares of passersby as Itto cradles your bloodied knee like a precious heirloom. If the earlier fall wasn’t embarrassing enough, the giggling elders as they watched was mortifying.

He mumbles something incomprehensible, and you strain your ears to listen. “What’s wrong?” 

He clears his throat and speaks again. “Should I... Should I kiss it better?” 

The uncharacteristically bashful expression on his face is rejuvenating, and a giggle manages to slip past your tight smile. 

“Itto, I’m okay.” You insist, hovering a hand over his shoulder. The frown on his face merely deepens at your words, his overprotective nature taking his emotions by the reins.

A thumb brushes beneath the sensitive skin of the wound, followed by a loud, exaggerated sigh.  “You don’t need to act strong y’know,” he finally rises to his feet. “Hop on, I’ll carry you back home.”

Huh?

“There’s no way I’m letting you walk home on a leg like that- so c’mon!” He spins and crouches, not allowing any protests as he reaches behind him.

It’s futile to argue with him. You’re not in the mood anyway, and a piggyback ride from your boyfriend is nearly impossible to decline when his warmth is perfect for negating the winter chill. 

“You better not drop me...” You mumble, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and squeezing when he grips the backs of your thighs. “Drop you? Aha- you’re so funny, babe!”

  “If it hurts just let me know, okay?” He says, looking over the treated injury once more. After careful tending, Itto sets you on the porch, kicking his feet out with a yawn. 

His hand falls upon your head, brushing away the hair falling over your eyes. The thump of his head against your shoulder is quiet compared to his whining. “I should’ve just caught you-” he sighs. “-next time, tell me when you’re going to fall.” 

Another sigh. “Of course.” Intertwining your hands, you lean against him and smile.
