Tommy- is the oldest and is in 4th grade and is in a gifted class with darnold he has a huge collection of soda cans and stuffed animals his favorite thing to do is line them up in different patterns. Hes mainly happy and cheerful. him and benrey live together as brothers though there not biologically related he's not quite sure we're ben came from. Gman takes Tommy to black mesa a lot to show him different science experiments going on. Wants a dog so bad his toy dog is doing the job for now.

Gordon- he's in 3erd and is mainly a loner who doesn't fit in a chronic over-thinker he mainly likes to play videogames or read (mainly magazines about video games) he is a smart kid and maybe next year he'll be in the advanced science class. Anxious but loyal and can get easily annoyed. Him and benrey are frenemies both bonding over videogames and other nerdy things but benery is a bit to annoying to be a true friend (benery constantly taunts him by calling him feet man because when he was in kindergarten he stepped in peanut butter and ate it Gordon regrets telling him this) he carries a Gameboy wherever he goes.

Darnold- is one of the smartest kids in the 3erd grade but unfortunately the shortest which leads to constant taunts from forzen though not in the same grade him and Tommy are in the same gifted class and are very good friends. They enjoy making positions out of soda and doing all sorts of strange experiments.more shy and less confident than Tommy he still has a similar joyful attitude. Reads fantasy books and constantly has a new one every week.

Benery- in 3erd lives with Tommy and has no memory of how he got there but meh who cares loves to skate board and do tricks though no one knows how he holds onto it at all times seemingly appears and disappears at will. He wandered a lot and seems to forget things you just told him. You can't tell when he's joking or being serious. His helmet never comes off. Chill jokester who doesn't take a lot of things seriously and likes to hang around Gordon and annoy him. He is not allowed near black mesa.

B-u557- a top secret black mesa experiment to be the ultimate life form he was still brewing when the kids broke him out of his tube so he might have some defects mostly annoyed all the time but he is thrilled to be out of his tube and even more thrilled to finally be able to hear a scientist who has been visiting him.

Forzen- moved from France when he was around 3-4 his dad's in the military and he's a bit spoiled has had to move a lot because of his dad but he's been in the same neighborhood as the gang sense the end of 2ed grade. He's not truly one of the bullies of the school but is annoying to Gordon darnold and Tommy he quickly became friends with benery when he moved and benery taut him how to skate board.

Dr.coomer- a good friend of Tommy's dad but usually not taken very seriously by his coworkers. He is a little unusual and loud but is a very kind soul other scientists complaine that he talks to much. he works in many departments around black mesa but is most offensive seen in the robotics department is the founder of the black mesa boxing ring and has not lost his wife in the divorce yet. He likes to visit the secret experiment B-u557 to see how he's doing he does his rants to the experiment even though he knows he can't hear him. But b-u557 doesn't ever seem to be annoyed so he keeps visiting. Even if everyone else in black mesa tells him to stop.

Pharah 🐈‍⬛

When you both get home from a good workout, you usher off to take the first shower.

After a while, you finish and sit on your side of the bed, sighing softly as Pharah makes her way into the room.

Her eyes scan the bed, then to your back and arms. Her face starts to soften.

"Hey..." Her soft voice broke the silence, making you jump slightly. "I never noticed you had so many scars..." Pharah sat down next to you and looks over, seeing your uncomfortable expression.

"You must get into a lot of fights, huh?"

"I...guess you can say that." You said under your breath.

For what seemed like forever, Pharah spoke again, "These aren't..from fights, are they.."

You were quiet but then shook your head, slowly feeling Pharah's arms wrap around you.

"...You know, I can't be mad at you for doing this to yourself and I can't say that I know the pain you are going through. We all go through pain differently." Her hug becomes tighter, "But...what I can say is that I'm happy you're still here. Still here fighting for your breath, and for yourself."

You look up at her, her big puppy dog eyes shining brightly at you. "I know you are still hurting, and that's okay...but I want you to keep fighting. The world is a hell hole, and it needs strong souls that fight every day, just like us! You've made it this far...I know you can go even further!" She places a gentle kiss on your wet cheek, "I know we can go further...we'll see a future where that pain won't exist. We'll probably be old and dusty by then.." She jokes, gently rocking you, "But...I'll happily wait forever. Just to see you truly smile..some day!"

Kiriko 🦊

Kiriko sat down next to you and handed you a pretty pastry, "You seem kinda down..I got this for you! Sweets cheer me up!" She smiles.

You give her a gentle smile and nod, "Oh - yeah! No, I'm fine. I'm just super tired, ya know?" Kiriko eyes you but nods her head. "I..haven't been sleeping well lately.." You softly speak up.

Kiriko tilts her head, carefully watching your every move, her eyes scanning you from head to toe, "is that right..?" She asks, you nod your head in response. She sighs softly and leans back in her chair, taking a bite of her doughnut. "Well..if you ever wanna talk about something. I want you to know I'm there!"

You nod your head again. The silence is deafening. Kiriko slowly sat up and held your arm gently. "Hey..um, do you mind if I check something real quick?" She asked gently, slowly pulling at your arm. You froze but slowly nodded. She rolled up the sleeve gently. Letting out a faint gasp. She noticed all the old scars peppering your skin - noticing a fresh bandage tightly fitted on your forearm.

"I.." She was at a loss for words, "You..seem to do this often..huh?" Kiriko asked, gently revealing the fresh gash on your arm. You flinched in pain, slowly nodding. "I see. You don't need to explain anything to me." She gives you a soft smile.

One of her hands gently grazes over the mark, healing it slowly, "You know...I don't usually find people that do this often. Hanzo..did this a few times, but..stopped." She looked a little sad, "You are hurting, and I noticed it. I knew you were sad, but never this sad." Kiriko moves a little closer to you, "You hide it so well, you always help others, smile, and so much more... it's..scary to know that this is going on in the background."

You stare at her, "I..want you to stay by my side. Not because I want to keep an eye on you, but because I want us to heal from this. Trauma..can happen, and can cause this type of stuff to happen - and far worse." She holds your hand tightly, looking at you, "I want to stay with you and see you grow. Grow into something strong, stronger than you already are. You can fight this, and I'll be with you every step of the way! We can fight these negative auras together!..we'll be stronger tomorrow than we are today, I know it for sure!"

Brigitte 🛡️

You were always quiet around Brigitte. She often invited you over to the shop to help her upgrade some stuff. You knew you couldn't do anything she can do, but helping out your partner was always something you liked doing.

Brigitte looked over at the door of the shop, hearing the chimes jingle. "You're here! Ready to work?" She said playfully, taken back by the sudden quiet aura around you. "Uhh - you don't seem so well, do you want to take a minute?" You shook your head.

"Let's just get to work.." You said faintly. Brigitte just nodded her head slowly, keeping an eye on you before she turned around.

Once you took off the jacket you were wearing, Brigitte smiled warmly at you, "There you go! Get comforta-" She stopped.

"What's that.." She said worriedly, slowly getting up and walking towards you.

You took a step back and shook your head, "Oh- I just fell! I can still work! Don't worry about it, Brig!" You try to play it off and smile, but once you made eye contact with Brigitte, she was frowning deeply.

"I'm closing shop. We need to talk.." She quickly said, gently picking you up and setting you down in a chair. "I want to hear everything..don't think about hiding anything from me!"Once she locked everything up, she slowly sat down in front of you on the floor.

"...(y/n)?" She spoke softly, gently holding your hand. "..is something going on?.. I won't be mad, I can't be mad at you..please know that!" Her eyes were watering.

Once you explained everything to her, you couldn't stop her from crying. "Please don't blame yourself-" "I'm not!" She cried out.

"I...I'm sad because..with how you carry yourself - I never noticed it. Not even papa noticed. Sure, we've seen you sad some days, but you always bounce back!" Her grip on your hand slightly tightens. "I want to be there to help you! I want to be there before you even think about doing this!"

She looks up at you, resting her head on your knee as if she was a puppy, "Let me take care of this. Let me heal you and help you. I may...not understand this but I don't want to see you go through this alone! We can grow past this and always start fresh!... We can work together on building up our strength. We can be stronger than any armor crafted! We can be unstoppable...you can be unstoppable!.."

I know this is late but since we just became moots, I want to do this.

Orange, green, blue, and pink are the colors that come to mind, especially green after you lost your original blog and everything you've gone through in your personal life. It was heartbreaking to see both of those things happen to you, considering you are one of the kindest people here.

For the former, it was because there was a lot of great content on there I enjoyed reading, and it was a shame to see all of that disappear over something out of your control. Fortunately, many friendly mutuals put in an admirable effort to recover some of your best work, which shows anything is possible if we put our minds to it.

Unfortunately, I can't speak much on the latter because I don't know what went on there. All I can do is hope things are better for you now and will continue to be so.

As for your Green, Orange, and a Bit of Purple repost, I haven't gotten around to it yet. However, I do plan on getting to it at some point because it's my favorite story of yours.

Thank you so much for the tags! :D I decided to answer these questions (mostly) based only on the fics I have posted to AO3 right now. I could have answered some of these questions based on WIP's I haven't posted yet, but I decided to keep it simple. The stupid new format of Tumblr kept screwing up my links, which is part of the reason why it took me so long to post this.

1. How many works do you have on AO3? At the moment, only 43!

2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 39,225 as of December 30, 2023. I expect this to skyrocket once I eventually post my megafics for Transformers and Fire Emblem. But, it is not this day.

3. What fandoms do you write for? Anything I want to write for 🔥❤️‍🔥🔥The Legend of Zelda, Transformers, Miraculous Ladybug, Fire Emblem, the MCU, Critical Role, and Puss in Boots are the fandoms represented on my AO3 now, but that's only the beginning! I have a few more fics in the works for many other fandoms, including but not limited to Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, Batfam, Honor Among Thieves, and The Stormlight Archive, that simply aren't ready for AO3 yet. I hope to get them up someday, in the years to come. 4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? From the top and descending, that would be: "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) I'm genuinely unsurprised this is at the peak. It's held this rank ever since I posted it. Wholesome Team Friendship Fluff, post-movie! "To Bee a Leader" (Transformers: Robots in Disguise 2015) This one always surprises me!!! I never expected it to get so much traction! But I'm so happy it keeps getting hits! I'm so happy people are enjoying / relating to my Prime in Disguise Bumblebee angst + emotional hurt / comfort! "Release Me" (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom) With the advent of TotK, it is only logical that this shot to the top 5. This is my fic I wrote before the game released, where I theorized: what if the green arm was actually antagonistic? "Watched" (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) I think the LU fandom finally found this one, because it wasn't this high in the ranks before, lol. It's not technically Linked Universe, but you could certainly read it as either TLoZ or LU, as you prefer. Pre-canon, still in Ordon Village, Link doesn't know it...but he's being watched. "A Name Aptly Chosen" (Bumblebee (2018) / Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) Oh, when did this happen??? When did you hit the top 5? 👀 This is news to me! This makes me so happy!!! This is how I imagine Bumblebee explained to Optimus Prime his name-change from "B-127" to "Bumblebee" ✨

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Most of the time, yes! I love when readers leave comments because I'm excited to hear what in my writing stood out to them. Thus, I try to reply to as many as I can. I hope that if I stay engaged with my readers, they'll feel more comfortable with commenting, whether on my fics or someone else's ✨ That being said, however, when particular comments don't pass the vibe check, I see no need to reward with any response. <3

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Ooh. As of now, that trophy goes to "Where Sorrow Rings" (Fire Emblem: Engage). A close second might be "Out of Tune" (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.) (The even-heavier angst that I write is currently unpublished, because most of it is in my megafics.)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Good question! My first instinct would be Let Sleeping Dogs Lie, but depending on preference, I suppose Welcome Home and Dissonant Echoes could possibly compete with that one.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not much yet (lol), but I figure it'll happen eventually because that's how the Internet works, regrettably. 9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Nope. I don't read it either.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? Lol, this is a super funny question for me personally. I crossover so many things, but my best crossovers haven't made it to AO3 yet because I'm still building up the greatness to reach its full potential. I think the only crossover I have right now on AO3 is a Stormlight!AU for TLoZ, The Song of Stormlight. But oh, the crossovers in my mind...! I gotta mention some of them just for fun, in the hopes it'll motivate me to bring them to fruition:

Psych x Transformers Assassin's Creed x Transformers Assassin's Creed x Fire Emblem Fire Emblem x TLoZ Fire Emblem x TLoZ x MCU x MtG x Nintendo-in-general x 신의 x Stormlight Archive x literally anything else I can think of and no I am not joking, this is very much a thing. This is my magnum opus. One of the biggest worlds I'll ever write; one of the biggest projects I've been working on for many years that have already passed, as well as many more years to come.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I hope not. 🗡️🗡️🗡️

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not that I know of. If someone wanted to translate a fic of mine, I might be truly honored, but I would want them to ask permission first.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Hmm...not seriously. I've collaborated worldbuilding with many people over the years, and done much roleplaying, but I've never co-written a "fic" that wasn't a for-fun "Round Robin" game.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? OoT Zelink. They are my OTP.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? *laughs That could be literally any of my WIP's at any point. I want to finish them all. I plan to finish them all. I hope to finish them all. But, actually finishing them all is dependent upon many factors. I think of ideas faster than I can finish them, and I have many priorities to juggle. I hope I don't abandon my stories, but I make no promises. Even so, I try not to doubt that I'll finish my fics; I strive to keep a positive mindset, because that will lend me the motivation to finish them, even if it takes me years to do so.

16. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue, poetry (I love writing words to a beat even within prose), and coming up with titles, to name a few!

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Finishing

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I think it's delightful when it's executed well, and distracting when it's not. That's why I try to be careful when I attempt to do so. When I do so, I wish to respect the language and the culture the language is a part of; language has much nuance, so I don't just wanna copy-paste something from the Goog's Translate without taking certain linguistic factors into account.

19. First fandom you wrote for? The first fandom I posted for on AO3 was Transformers: Prime. That's not the first fandom I ever wrote for, but I'm not telling you that, Tumblr.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written? This is a cruel question. I could well cheat this question and say "all my fics are my favorite fics I've ever written, because writing is a delight." I would mean that. Thank you for the Stardew compliment :] I'm just about done with Spring year 1 and I blew all my money on the backpack upgrades (got lucky and grew a giant cauliflower!), and I'm constantly low on energy and running out of time to do things. Somehow this is reminding me of Pathologic 2 now, lol. I know that's typical of the early game. Still, it's comforting to know that other than a cutscene or two, there's nothing really missable as long as you have the patience to wait for the seasons to roll around again. Btw. The secret to getting to the lower floors in the mines quickly and without combat is to craft a bunch of staircases ;)

Between all the Pathologic characters, I feel like only a handful would thrive as Stardew Valley farmers.

Daniil would want to replace Harvey's position since day one and never grow a single crop in his life.

Clara would depend on lucky drops, trash can dives and blackmailing Mayor Lewis about the gold statue money embezzlement fiasco to earn a living wage only for her twin to put his purple shorts in the soup pot during luau

Artemy would thrive there, I feel it in my bones. He would build a pretty good self-watering potato farm with a cow penhouse or two. Sticky and Murky would enjoy the Valley too, especially with all the supernatural things hidden around they can find.

And oh stairs in the mines! That explains why I progressed at the pace of a slug each day. I just raw dogged it each time and got my ass beaten only to grumbly go fish instead to unwind.

The thing with Stardew Valley is that there is no race against time so much but the limited Stamina and all the possible ways to upgrade and improve little by little each day makes it a game where the antagonist is your own ego. Or at least in my case, because I refused to use sprinklers that weren't iridum since what was the point!! But also, I finished an entire year without getting much iridium, so I was pretty desperate and burnt out from can watering every day by the time I did unlock them. Or how the npcs friendship depelates each day and it felt like such a personal insult to me to not have everyone like me so much at all times that I chased them every single day to talk and avoid friendship depletion.

I made Stardew Valley my own living hell by my own hands thanks to the stubborn human ego. Water by can everyday, chase down and talk to 30+ people everyday, only have enough time to progress 4 levels down in the mine before dying on the said 4th then rage quitting the game and reinstalling league like a normal person. If I'm going to get fucked by a game I rather it be my own teammates bending me over.

ANYWAY.

Do you think Victor would do good in Stardew Valley? Not as a farmer but like as an npc. Oh god, can you even imagine what the kains would do to that town, I almost feel bad... almost. They'd perform all kinds of experiments to test the limit of that reality. They'd bother the wizard to work for them and lock the immortal farmer in some basement to find out just how they achieved the immortality.

He'd probably easily get people to follow him and rope the young adults into some utopian cult like he does in pathologic.

Yulia might chill there, becomes Gunther's roommate, visit the beach occasionally, and befriend Elliott and Leah. Yeah, I see Yulia getting happier in that town. Except for the occasional fits of saying ominous fate predictions she made about the villagers' future, to their face.

Aglaya would guillotine Mayor Lewis the second she steps a foot off of that train and into the town. And don't we love her for that!! My wife <33333

Hmm... My favourite adults. They're practically the same as yours, Aglaya, Victor, and Yulia. Oh, I really like Isidor too despite all the uh... non-fun things he has done.

I loved Aglaya even before the whole romance thing with Artemy which took me by complete surprise because I never expected to find romance in Pathologic of all things! Sure I knew about Daniil and Eva but thought they were a one off special case where it's mostly implied than obviously stated?

Then comes Aglaya, swinging and throwing you off your rhythm. You meet her and think, "Oh god, not another crazy person who talks sophisticated p throw-up nonsense and pretends its high-brow philosophy."

*Cough* The kains!!! *cough*

Like I absolutely did not care for her before meeting her. I didn't know her, and the cutscenes in the theatre about her the night prior felt like they were tying too hard to make me afraid of her. And I think they could've worked if approached differently. Only after meeting her and being faced with her brash brutal dialogue that I fell in love.

The biggest threat she resembled was death, and as a player, you know you have death immunity because who else would play the game, huh? So you never feel the need to tiptoe around despite her holding the power to immediately order your hanging outside.

I knew I was never going to die, so I never was careful with Aglaya. Although seeing that one cutscene of people lining up against the wall the day she arrives did make me feel a bit uneasy, especially with both Daniil and Clara there too looking almost intimidated.

The build-up to her reveal is so amazing. They show you the unmoveable power pillars of this town absolutely losing their marbles at her arrival. The same people who tried to manipulate you blatantly or never bothered to give you the time of the day were terrified to their core.

I don't think any other character gets as much reveal build up and theatrics about her like Aglaya. No other character in pathologic could cause the same stirr, could make the Kains, Saburovs and Olgimsky running around like headless chickens.

In P2, how worried everyone was when lining up outside the church to take turns and await their judgement. How it's the only time you ever see the stamatin twins out of their usual spots, the so proclaimed absolute freedom enthusiasts actually walking by their own feet to the inquisitor and follow direct orders! IT'S A CIRCUS SHOW!

Or the fact she literally puts up a hanging station right in front of the crucible, the kains' resident! The one family so obsessed with immortality and preservation are faced with the grim reality of not only death but being hanged to death by her, being killed, and put to display for everyone to see. Knowing she has the power to order their execution at any time.

What a power move of her.

AND IN FRONT OF THE POLYHEDRON TOO! Nine total nooses awaiting them. It's a direct threat she places in front of them with a clear message, behave or else.

You witness usually collected and rational Kains, the powerful leaders of this town, terrified to their core that day.

Georgiy isn't in his workshop like usual, he is standing outside to look at the symbol of death in the face.

Much like dads stand in the streets with their hands crossed to watch the aftermath of a car crash, except he is looking at the future with the implications it could be his very own car that ends up there.

He doesn't even talk to you, he's just staring. Dread sinking into his stomach as he watches the people walking in nervously before exiting the cathedral with their mind broken or tears streaming down their face.

The inquisition is absolutely terrifying. Especially when you consider how Nina on her own made the whole town walk on eggshells, how Aglaya's her sister.

Talking about Nina, guess who's portrait Victor sits on the floor in front of after seeing the hearing ropes outside.

Well...not her. I thought this painting was of Nina Kaina but apparently it's Maria's concept art which is kinda sweet.

You talk to him and the first thing he talks about is the church and why they built it. How it distributes times to the clocks throughout the town.

How Aglaya's presence there is clearly affecting time and making it go faster, and yet Victor doesn't dare say a thing.

God, I love Aglaya. No one else could compare the aura of absolute power she is dripping with, the heavy presence she instils into the church. The walk up to her standing in front of a throne in P1.

There is also another scene where the executioners literally bow down to her as she arrives into town

While in P2, that imagery is replaced by her standing behind the gaint swinging pendulum of the church clock. It almost looks like a saw threatening to cut your neck off as you cautiously walk under it to reach her.

She arrives at the prime of conflict and plague, immediately gets down to business and stays awake for three whole days just to absorb as much information as she possibly can. She forcefully moves the plot along, opens the factories and pulls all the short strings of lies to expose them.

Not to mention how utterly massive the church is, it has three floors you can climb up to and even save your game in. Yet not a single soul is in there except Aglaya who easily fills up this empty structure with her own presence.

You make it past the hanging saw and reach her, only for her back to be kept turned towards you. You get the feeling that you're intruding on someone busy, the same churning of stomach you feel when you're just a kid nervously knocking on the school principle office and sitffly standing to the side, waiting for her to finish the paperwork before giving you permission to talk.

It's nerve-wracking how calm she is. If you cross her as the player, she immediately calls you out and reminds you who she is. Just who do you think you're talking to with that tone?

She is truly a mother's doll. The discipline, the respect she demands, the way you find yourself answering to her without question or second thought. She gives and orders, and it's carried immediately, no buts, no arguing and no talking back.

In a way, she does bring justice to Farkhad without being aware of it. He's been killed long ago by the Stamatin twins, or at least that's major theory, and he's the one who made the church. How fitting it is for the person who wants to destroy the polyhedron as revenge for her sister to seek shelter in the same church of his making.

As a final note, the inquisition symbol "the steel heart" greatly looks like her.

This is Aglaya Lilich. This symbol is absolutely how the entire world views her. A heart of steel and a frost dagger of a stare. You look at this and immediately understand you are in trouble. You made a mistake, and you must get punished for your sins. For your betrayal.

The top part reminds me of steppe symbols and sigils, it almost looks like Samn the circle of life.

She is always depicted as above people, as your greatest nightmare and investable demise.

I planned on talking about Victor and Yulia too but Aglaya stole the show and honestly I can't blame her.

Since they are your favourite characters however, and mine lmao, I'm very confident that you already get the basics and understand their core concepts.

So instead, I'll talk about the small easy-to-miss details I've noticed about them!

Starting with Victor, he is actually a very loving parent. He admits to missing Caspar, he has many pictures of Maria hanged around his wing of the crucible both in P1 and P2.

Which is so endearing with how he wants to appear rational and nothing else 90% of the time. How his way of speech is almost mechanical, unlike other characters, it doesn't matter what you say to Victor Kain because he rarely reacts to your words. He is straightforward and is only interested in saying what's on his mind, not in what you have to say about it.

And yet, he openly admits how much he wants his son back, Caspar.

He is one of the people who ordered the tower to be built, this is his life purpose and what's his entire family has been working towards since the beginning.

Yet he can't help but resent it for stealing his son.

Victor still does everything in his power to protect the power, that monster keeping his kid estranged to him, to be a good brother and keep true to his words, to fullfill his promises to his family, to truly build a utopia and change the world.

And it's chipping away at his sanity.

Imagine how he feels seeing Maria grow and lose her sense of being as she transforms into a mistress. As she desperately tries to fill the empty vacuum of space Nina left behind.

How did the father feel watching his little daughter stand in front of a mirror, same one he hanged in her room, trying on her late mother's crown and watching it slip off no matter how desperately she attempts to keep her head held high... But it's just too heavy.

He wanted to tell Caspar to come home, he wants to tell Maria to live her age and not let this town consume her like it did to her mother. But his two brothers keep his hands tied, they told him not to interfer with the kids in the polyhedron, Maria barely listens to him or acknowledges him has a dad, a father yes but not a dad.

In another twist of fate, both him and Aglaya share that habit of telling people to stay quiet for 40 something seconds while they think. They probably both learned it from Nina in the past.

In P1, the crucible design had more space and rooms. It looked like actual people lived there. You can even find Khan's room next to Maria's, you see his untouched furniture and the toys on his shelf, you see the two pairs of wooden practice swords on his desk and wonder if his dad made them for him. A picture is painted before your eyes of a younger Victor teaching a 7 year old Caspar how to hold a sword, how to swing, and how to block.

Did he let his son win? Did he surrendered after they sparred just to see a smile on Khan's face?

In P2, the door to his son's room is blocked.

You don't get to see many traces of Maria's childhood in her room, both in P2 and P1. Like she grew up too fast, or as if she threw out all the evidences of her past to make way for her future, slithering like a snake and wrapping itself around her to suffocate her and call it love, to restraint her and paint it as absolute freedom, to isolate her until all she could hear is the whispering of her mother's corpse from the grave.

It's like he knows he doomed his two kids by bringing them into this world. That they could never be kids once they were born Kains.

That they might not even survive.

For Yulia, i didn't talk to her much at the start of the game because I was performing an exploit. The game only acknowledge the existence of an npc once you actively talk to them. If you don't, then they aren't considered a possibility yet and can't get infected.

You have two chances to talk to Yulia at the start for flavour text, once at the Olgimskys' balcony and another at the makeshift theatre hospital. Afterwards she forces you to talk to her by sending you a letter to come to the trammel.

Listen- It was one less person to cure/protect from infection and I did what I needed to do. You can do this with Khan too actually, but it does mean failing a side quest and subsequently getting an entire area infected.

It is funny it a way how if you just don't talk to people and do only your main quests, they never get infected.

Wait is the game saying that the player is the actual plague in this situation wait hold on w-

Anyway Yulia! Lesbian Icon. She has a heavy implied relationship with Eva in P1 when Clara is trying to take advantage of Eva to manipulate Yulia into... yk a little trip the underworld. Tho it's only evident in Clara's route? Take my words with a grain of salt, I'm not sure how accurate their relationship was implied in p1.

You don't get any of that in P2, sadly. Or maybe it's just the Haruspex's route? In P1, as Artemy, you literally never have a single reason to talk to her once, not a single quest require her.

The only time I talked to her was like on day 10 or 11 because I was around the area and curious since we haven't even met yet. It was a nice talk, she's very polite and interesting with her words. Ik people like to compare her to Daniil Dankovsky and his obnoxious speeches.

But I think Yulia is a better conversationist than him. She explains herself more than him and doesn't necessarily come of as condcending but only passionate, Daniil talks over you while Yulia talks to you. It feels like she is coming to the conclusion just as she is explaining it to you while Daniil is revising a rehearsed speech he undoubtedly practiced before.

The interesting detial I noticed about her is how she is humble despite meeting all the required qouta to be a utopian. She is a genius through and through, and her ideas about fate and time overlap with the kains. At times, she is willing to put herself in danger just to see an experiment done. even just out of curiosity.

And yet, she is not one of them.

Instead, she is placed within the redemption-seeking sinners and helpless saints. She is in the same shoes as Lara who wants to do good but feels utterly powerless, in the same situation as Rubin who was the best student there ever was and yet none of his effort was ever enough.

Yulia is clearly keeping a secret, some side we aren't shown ingame. An effort to put some worth on a life she deems wasted.

She is gentle with the Haruspex in P2.

Yulia clocks you, Artemy, as someone who thinks with their heart since the start. She admits you will be able to see and understand things most people can't because of that, things she herself can never comprehend.

It's not even a backhanded compliment. Both Yulia and Daniil think with their brain, yet when met by someone driven by heart and emotions like Artemy, Daniil refuses to acknowledge your methods and clings to rationality while Yulia understands how both methods are of importance and to not underestimate you.

By the end, she offers you to be her assistant. You. Someone who doesn't like big words and doesn't know a lick of Latin. She sees great potential in you and is impressed by how you saved the town.

Elliot has been with me for a month ❤️ he's still on a trial, but here's a résumé of who he is so far ✨

All the good things:

- He lets me sleep. On my days off, I sleep a lot and it's not an issue to him at all.

- He gets along with Bean. Bean doesn't interact much with other dogs, but they genuinely do not have any issues being together. Bean even gets excited seeing him when he comes back from work!

- He's awkward (teenager baby) and doesn't know how to play with other dogs, but he does well overall with dogs he meets at work.

- He is oh so friendly with strangers. He met people of all ages, including children and plumbers at our house he loves everybody. He is the exact level of friendliness I wanted.

- He's confident and/or recovers quickly. I've only seen him scared of a plastic bag in the wind. Otherwise, nothing, no sound, no new object bothers him. If unsure about something, he recovers well.

- He is cuddly. He loves to fall asleep on my head, he enjoys pets and affection.

- He's food motivated and loves to train. It's tricky to train a dog when you have no problem solving skills, but he loves to train and learn things and use his brain.

- He has a good off switch. So far, all he does when bored is steal cat toys, but most of the time, he has no issues following what I do, wether it's going on walks or sleeping.

- He's so funny. When I got Bean, I wasn't expecting her to be so silly. Elliot seems to share this trait and I love it. Together, they make me laugh every day.

- Grooming isn't the easiest thing for him, but he's learning and it's only some discomfort, no excessive fear or anything significant. I think cooperative care will help a lot.

The less good:

- The only main issue is his separation anxiety, I think the rest will get better with training. He is nervous, stressed, etc. any time he is left alone. It's hard considering that he can't meet Chico and Chico has access to half of the house. I'm hoping that with time and training, he'll get more comfortable alone. I'm hoping I can find a way to get more comfortable leaving him alone to eat, spend time with my spouse and Nelly (cat), etc. because that's weighing on me. I'm hungry and that's not right.

- He marks a lot. Thankfully, he doesn't mark in areas of the house he spends a lot of time in, but otherwise, it's frequent. I know that it's a training thing, but I find it very inconvenient and annoying.

- He's a humpy teen. If he's happy, excited, etc. to meet a dog, he'll hump them. I know that it's mostly him being excited, overstimulated, etc. but it's making me uncomfortable.

- His prey drive is high. Thankfully, he only seems to want to play with Nelly (my cat) but he totally loses his brain anytime he sees her, so with his inability to be alone... I really, really miss spending more time with Nelly.

Overall, a good first month with the boy and hopefully, with time, he gets better at learning to be alone and impulse control, but he's a good boy ❤️

honestly I've never seen anyone here write ghost as a cheater so i don't know where anon got that from.

I'm curious though, since you say ghost and helen are an end game, would they ever have children? or just adopt a dog hahah but considering what ghost went through i doubt he'd entertain the idea of being a father (dunno just me tbh)

also alsooo your writing of him is like one of a kind for me, like feels so him and in character. so Helen engraved herself into his heart and veins?? holy heck do i have so many thoughts on their dynamic. But i think it's fitting, like very and your description of destroying things and putting back together is exactly how i see it. ghost having someone who will put him back together and be his reason, purpose is poetic. For the end though, i wonder how the two of them are like on the field considering Helen isn't always called to be out on the lines, how do they work? I imagine there's alot of banter especially if they talk via radio hahah sorry cause this got long.

so, it’s not that I don’t think they have a child, or want them, it’s just not something I’ve gotten to yet because in my personal life, I’m not sure if they’re on the cards and it’s still a bit raw? if that makes sense.

so for that reason, I think they’d adopt a dog first. like I have done. 😂

they’re aware of what their job demands. so when he goes away, it’s risky to talk so they don’t. she misses him, but she understands and silently worries until he comes back. he won’t risk radioing her unless necessary, like when she’s sent as medevac or when they’re arriving and need her to ready up. but it’s strictly business on the radio. when they’re both in the field, they both have jobs to do—important ones, at that. so, they only break from that straight-thinking in absolute worry. like when he ran across a fucking battlefield to power bomb her through a door to save her from being ambushed. and while it’s not been posted, but has been written, but mentioned, Helen takes a bullet for him. she doesn’t think, doesn’t consider what she’s doing, she just does it. and it’s in those moments people can piece together there’s something more, but they don’t necessarily say it.

they’re people who say a lot with their eyes and their soft actions. he’ll tap her twice when he comes back and he’s passing her, which means missed you. she’ll run her flat palm down the back of his arm to his forearm before lightly squeezing, meaning be safe. they’ve adapted to say a lot with less because they’re both people who want to enjoy this privately, not publicly.

How do you make a visual novel alone? It doesn't seem like an easy thing to do.

It's not easy at all, actually. 😅 Sometimes it feels a little overwhelming and I do get art/writers block, but I don't have a due date and take things as slow as I need.

It's easy to get uninspired and stuck becuase it's such a big project that needs many things between the art and the writing and music and it's rough doing it alone. A lot of researching and conceptualizing.

But I'm also doing other things in life because everything I'm doing right now is entirely nonprofit. I have a job to focus on, I just adopted my first puppy(so I'll find out soon if I'm dog-mom material or not...😰), and I still want to write and create for SCM when I'm not working on my visual novel. I love being an active member of a small fandom. And a lot of my fanfic writing actually helps me brainstorm ideas for The Divine Twelve.

💖Lucky for me, I have a lovely set of consultants (friends who I ask if something looks okay) and I have my Tumblr wives/hubby's who are making me excited about what I'm doing. Just asking me simple questions makes me even more excited to work on it because WOW people might actually play a game that I made and enjoy a story that I wrote. That's freaking wild, bro.

✨As hard as it is to work on a big project like a visual novel, I know when it's completed and it all comes together I'm gonna be very happy with myself. And who knows, maybe TD12 is going to have itself a small fandom one day! 🤭 I'm super excited to see what this game will bring to the table because not too many games feature a polyamorous set of main characters. It's different and I can't wait to see the take. 💕

Thanks so much, anon! Always nice to see this ask come around. I answered this here (which was already 7 months ago somehow?!) and all those fics still apply! But I recently published my 30th fic and I'm gonna give some newer ones some love.

Five new favourites:

Bobby, meet Lucas - there are parts I'm not fully happy with, but overall I'm really, really proud of this fic. I think the narration style is the best I've written, it's funny at times, angsty as hell, and I think the smut is pretty good, especially for being my first m/m smut.

the stars shine bright - Henrik makes me so soft, and this fic is proof of that. it was supposed to be a short, funny fic about him and the MC being on totally different wavelengths when it came to their camping ideals, but it ended up being 12k words. it's the fluffiest thing I've ever written and I really love it.

cocked and loaded - the title still makes me laugh because it sounds like a bad porno, but it's not even smutty! it's a mafia/gangster forbidden romance between Henrik and Lucas, and I think it's really fun. plus Henrik's brothers Magnus and Rasmus have roles in this one, and I love them.

doggy fashion - Arjun loves dogs, Henrik is basically a golden retriever, it just seemed totally natural to have their love of dogs bring them together. especially since Arjun's "move" in the game is to meet people while walking dogs, which is I think how this idea formed. plus, like... the title. literally my favourite title for a fic ever.

kaleidoscope - my latest, and another one that's a bit different for me because it's a soulmates fic, which isn't a trope I've read much of or enjoyed. but it's angsty af, which is totally my jam.
