Once again thinking about Thomas Harris' Hannibal. Ik the book on his origins is the worst Harris did but I just cannot get over it. I can't get over Dame Murasaki and how delicate yet strong and fierce she is. And I can't stop thinking about the young Hannibal, I picture him sitting by la Seine, painting birds and passersby before going to his medical school. I'm just obsessed by how refined he is.
