ARTPOP: The Art of Drag and Gender Expression
A-Level Fine Art Personal Project
Creative self expression is an essential part of our human spirit and how we present ourselves to the world around us. My work is a witty and humorous exploration of the human experience influenced by the fine line between clothing and costume that we play with to develop our sense of self.

The Mundane
A-Level Fine Art Exam Project
Pigeons are much maligned in society and my project explores the way in which we as humans seek to exclude them from our daily life, trying to keep them on the periphery of our existence. Often seen as a nuisance, the beauty, determination, and persistence of pigeons to not just survive, but thrive alongside us was something I aimed to capture in my final paintings. Humour always plays a large part in my work and I hope that this body of work makes people smile whilst at the same time giving them a newfound respect for the humble pigeon.

Exploring Personal Narratives Through the Work of Grayson Perry
A-Level 3D Art Personal Project
My main influence for this project was my wonderful cat, Penny. This project documents her various escapades, such as falling down the toilet and her allotment adventures in Stretford. I have long admired the work of Grayson Perry and the way in which his ceramic work acts as a vehicle for his narratives. His satirical and irreverent approach to making has influenced my work massively and I hope that my work, much like his, is accessible to everyone and can provoke intrigue, amusement, and a sense of playfulness in the viewer.

Suspended Forms
A-Level 3D Art Exam Project
This project centres around the life of a busy family of fish. Featuring the characters Petit, Clairevoyant, Pumice, Cheddar&Onion, Conversation, Amanda, and Stracciatella, My installation is a celebration of the creative potential of clay, humour, and storytelling. Disappointed by the grotesque fish at the local market, my fish family have put themselves up for sale, and are swimming to new horizons. I wish them well.
