Next thing you know, you find yourself infatuated with the smell of jasmine and the silky stare of the man who held so much fear in his name. Flowers have thorns, and Kim Taehyung was no exception.

You stared down at the bed that you two had been sharing for three years now, sucking in a tight breath to suffocate the tears that threatened to come out. You had tried for so long to make this work, spent countless nights cold and alone while sleeping next to him. You couldn’t take it— you would not take it anymore.

For months you had been thinking this over, your guilt a horrible menace that stomped its feet all over your mind but your overcoming fear was enough to propel the single thought forward with enough force that woke you up one morning weeks ago: you had to leave him.
