Death doesn’t have to be the end…

For moons, the clans have struggled through tremendous loss. From dozens of cats vanishing without a trace to cats showing up dead at their borders after moons of silence, many are having difficulty coping with and accepting their recent losses. Has StarClan turned their back on them, or is there something more sinister at play?

Enter The Reapers: a nomadic group of cats who have made it their life’s mission to help other cats understand and cope with the concept of death. To these cats, death is not a tragedy, but simply the next step in a cat’s existence. Following a dream given to one of their youngest members, the group approaches clan borders, hoping not only to grant them a new perspective, but to help them through the tragedy they have faced.

Blight’s Ending is open for applications starting today, September 21st! Applications for adoptable characters will close on October 5th at 11:59 PM PST, and applications for original characters will close on October 8th at 11:59 PM PST.

We hope to accept 20 new members, equally distributed between BarrenClan and CopseClan — this means 4 adoptable slots, and 16 original character slots. Applicants may apply for up to two adoptables, in addition to one original character. The information for the adoptables can be found here.

AMIDST THE SKYLINE REBOOT - SOFT OPENING

Feral cats have lived in small clowders in New York City for ages. They have lived in relative peace, keeping to themselves and rolling with the punches. This was until a great storm rocked the city, flooding communities and taking cats with it. Many clowders were left scattered, nowhere to go and unsure who to trust.

An elderly tom by the name of Cosmos rose from the destruction and founded a new clowder in Central Park, known as the Cats of Cobble. Framed as a sanctuary of sorts, the cats of New York learn to stick together following the Storm. Loners and cats from smaller clowders alike flock to this new haven.

Only a week after establishment, Cosmos dies, leaving no new leader, no ranks, no order or rules.

Will this new group thrive? Will it tear itself apart inside out? Will cats split off to make their own? You are the one to decide.

Amidst the Skyline is a non-traditional, 17+ literate WCRP that takes place on Discord. The plot is loose but character-driven; players are expected to work with each other to develop an improvised story and world, starting from the very beginning of a clowder’s history.

To safer lands you’ll go, away from this forest you have long called home. Your origin matters not when you rejoin with familiar faces in a faraway land. Four figureheads divide up this new home and who you’ll join is up to you— RiverClan of the cove, ShadowClan of the forest, or WindClan, of the meadow. MAKE EACH WORD COUNT, Set within the Northern California Redwoods, our story begins with a great fire that brings three groups together in their struggle to survive. Join one of these newly formed Clans with the knowledge that each action and word counts. Help us to write the Warrior Code as a new tenant gets ratified each moon. EVERY ACTION MATTERS, Use our custom commands to use the various skills your character has. Search for prey and Hunt for your Clan or risk the harsh penalties of starvation. Defend your Clan with each Strike, and put those claws and teeth to use. Harvest herbs and camp materials so that your Clan can thrive with boosts to their skills from fortified dens and allow your medic (or even yourself) to patch up your wounds or treat illnesses by using Aid. Utilize Trickery to show just how cunning you are, Terra to flex your knowledge of all things land, and Aquatic to prove you know your way around water.

Applications For Bolide’s Posse Are Now Open!

With every power struggle, there comes an underdog. In the town of Stonebrook, with the recent destructive takeover of a particularly nasty rogue and their fellow companions, many cats outside of Aspenclan have taken issue with the new power structure. Old leaders have been ousted from their posts, loners and rogues who held the positions for moons, swept under the rug for the new upstart with too much power in her paws. 

One of these leaders, a cat going by the name of Bolide, decided to take a different path than those who minimized their presence or joined the massive group forming in the center of their town. This cat, angered by how their subordinates and themselves were treated as their territory was absorbed, decided to stand up for themselves and attempt to topple the king of the board. Unfortunately for them, experience and strategy can’t always win against an overwhelming force, and they were quickly chased from their home. 

Finding refuge among what was thrown out by the twolegs, the group has hidden itself among the scrap of a dump outside of town, a humiliating step down from where they once stood. Though they have become a burden on the cats already living there, who since have taken it into their own paws to oust them from the scrapyard and into someone else’s yard. Though the power-hungry losers of Stonebrook still have spark left in them, in a world of claimed territories and hard-set borders, it seems impossible for a group like theirs to make a place for themselves.

This opening is centered around Bolide’s Posse, a ragtag group of cats from the town who, while having once been a central part of the hierarchy of the town, have been cast out and into the unknown. Applicants will be given the option to become Bolide’s aide, the second in command of Bolide’s Posse, one of the surveyors, who make up the bulk of the Posse’s forces, as well as secret roles which will only known to Bolide, their aid, and the cat themselves.

Magnolia the Kind’s killer is on the loose, leaving cryptic writings around the island of Manhattan. The clowders are faced with a threat whose motives are vague, and now they must track them down while still recovering from the recent destruction of the Storm.

Applications Now Open for CreekClan!

CreekClan has struggled for many seasons. Through floods, war, murder, starvation, and more, the Clan has continued to survive through pure resilience. Now, in the face of a drought, the waterside group is undergoing yet another trial. The streams and pools that populate their territory and provide life-giving food and water are drying up quickly, leaving CreekClan and its leader, Currentstar, with grand decisions to make. A great distance away a colony of cats known as the Tide Watchers makes their home by a lake so large it is impossible to see the other side from the shore. The Tide Watchers camp on a small lighthouse perched atop a rocky island reachable by a sand bar, and call the beach beyond it their territory. Nestled between two dunes with a thin entrance trail, the Tide Watchers are relatively isolated, though they welcome newcomers wholeheartedly. Because of the nature of their territory, they live comfortably. Take a look at the Turning Tides setting guide by clicking this link! These cats do not have a leader, despite turning most often to a cat named Periwinkle for many decisions, and their colony is peaceful. They worship the tides, which they believed are influenced by two deities titled East-wind and West-wind. The tides are sacred to them, as they provide most of the Tide Watchers’ food. From building sand structures to dangerous cliff diving, this group has formed rituals to give thanks to the tides. Find out more about the Tide Watchers’ customs by following this link! The Turning Tides event will begin in the Tide Watchers’ lakeside home, where the colony is living harmoniously. But peace never lasts the long; the Tide Watchers know well of the calm before the storm. Soon, their serenity will be suddenly interrupted, turning the tides of their lives.

DETAILS

This round of application is open to new potential members as well as members already in ThreeClans, and will be made up of entirely original characters created by you, the applicant. We will be looking to accept 16 members total, split between new members and current members. Each accepted member will have a character living with the Tide Watchers with the end goal of that character joining CreekClan. You have from June 22nd, 2022 at 12:00 am to July 7th, 2022 at 11:59 pm to apply.

GUIDELINES

You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

As these characters have histories as loners, rogues, kittypets, and other outsiders, the backstory for your character prior to them ending up as a part of the Tide Watchers may feature elements of these prior life paths. Your character may also be born into the Tide Watchers. No matter how your character ended up with the group, they will inevitably become a permanent part of CreekClan.

You must apply for a cat that is at least 1 moon of age. You are welcome to apply for any age above this.

You must apply initially with a name that reflects the “outsider” status of your character. This means that no cat will join the roleplay with a Clan name. These names will be earned throughout the process of roleplaying.

Please thoroughly read any documents provided and linked above, and create your original character with the lore and setting in mind.

Please be prepared to be active! Ideally, our members will engage in roleplaying quite frequently. If you are looking for a roleplay that is slower or one that you can pop into only once per month, you should reconsider if ThreeClans is the group for you. ThreeClans functions on a real life time system, which means that every day that passes in real life is equal to a day passing in the roleplay’s time. Though time may be adjusted accordingly for more intense events, and liquid time may be given to those who ask permission to complete roleplays, things are quite fast paced — we like to keep everything moving so that nothing stagnates for too long!

An opportunity arises to walk among the ranks of Bogclan, a collection of boastful cats who value the feats of valor, bravery, and community above all else. Their territory sat completely untouched during the devastating fire all those moons ago, and now a question lies before them; what will they choose to do with their newfound advantage over the other two clans? Will you swim the marshes with them now, and help them reach their destinies?

From Fire and Ash is a Discord-based, 16+ literate Warrior Cats Roleplay focused on storytelling and the choices of its players. Based in a once lush forest that is now ravaged by a fire that leapt from the caverns the clans hold most sacred, this roleplay follows the path where the scorched earth ends and new life begins to grow.

The Clans of the Emerald Isle Applications are now open!

The three clans, KnollClan, CloverClan and LochClan sit idly in their territory as Greenleaf approaches. With the usual promise of abundant prey and warm weather, this season seems to be bringing along the potential threat of something far greater than expected.

Welcome! The Clans of the Emerald Isle is an 18+ roleplay semi-literate hosted on Discord, inspired by the series Warrior Cats.

Come join KnollClan, CloverClan and LochClan in adventures exploring fantasy-inspired plotlines and discover new and exciting things in the clans’ lives!

COTEI is based along the Irish coast, just further inland of an old fishing village. The environment of each clan is diverse, as well as their own traditions. Inspired by wiccan practices, Starclan represents itself in each clan in different ways.

Ouroboros is a 17+ horror WCRP on Discord. In the abandoned human town of Eden, four Clans live after separating from SkyClan many seasons ago. ToyClan, FableClan, SugarClan, and PopcornClan are embroiled in generations-old conflict, attempting to carve out a place for themselves in the unforgiving territories. However, things can always get worse, and when cats begin turning up brutally murdered with no clear suspect, the Clans are thrown into chaos. Who is the prolific Eden Killer? LOST TIME WCRP is once again accepting new members!

Set within the wilderness of rocky mountain beauty, cats settled amid the past decade have come to enjoy clan life. Pineclan with their modern giants, Streamclan sporting suave tongues, Mossclan’s kind community oriented ways and Stoneclan hiding among the mountains themselves. Peace used to be scarce but with new leaders in place, new smooth paths have been born yet the questions remains.. for how long?

Recovering from a seasons long war, two cycles after the fact the clans were starved by a territory no longer able to support their numbers. Starclan has spoken: they must return to their origins beside the lake, where a fire had swept them out of their rightful home. As they take a second Journey across the mountains and pick up new faces as they go, the older generations must face the changes that the fire brought and the newer come to learn their history head on.

A new medic system in place, high ranks needing fresh faces, and a threat looming in the dark, the possibilities are endless. Will you be the one to fill these paws?

Forgotten Elegy is open for new members!

Applications will be open from Monday, April 18th until 11:59pm MST on Saturday, April 30th. As this is a mini opening, we will be accepting a maximum of 9 new members. This will likely be our last opening until the beginning of Arc 3, a date that is distant and yet to be determined.

Adopt one of nine clan character adopts! Over the past year, a number of adoptables have appeared in Forgotten Elegy that are in need of good homes! As we reached a natural intermission in Arc 2, we decided to host a mini opening to bring in new members to play these characters. Six characters are pre-established, and have been played by current or past members in the group. Three characters are brand-new and blank slates for you to begin with!

Play an antagonist and unlock original character slots! Once you have been accepted into the group, you will be given the opportunity to play a temporary antagonist for the remainder of Arc 2. This character will be a part of the notorious rogue group, the Wolf’s Bane. While this character will be intended to be temporary and defeated by the end of the arc, activity with both this and your adoptable character will also unlock future original character slots in your main clan.

Please read the adoptables document in full for more details, as well as all the information provided in the links on our website. If you have any questions about the characters’ histories, please let a mod know! While the histories outlined in the adoptable document are set in stone, you are welcome to determine the character’s history before they arrived to the clans, as well as their personality and opinions on past and current events. Due to the fact that characters have pre-existing history, the mod team will primarily be looking at character personalities and potential member activity when choosing applicants. Histories do not need to be developed more than jot-notes unless you would like to write more!
