Sacred Falls
Acting as a place of purity and peace, Sacred Falls is the only territory the clans share. The water is said to be blessed by Starclan itself, and Medicine Cats travel here once a moon to share tongues with their ancestors. Clan leaders may travel to the sacred area anytime they need guidance from Starclan, and often bring 3-5 cats with them. It is critical that there is no blood shed here.

Clan information
Mountainclan
Territory: Mountainclan territory is located on a good sized mountain with many caves and crevices. Behind the mountain is a sizable forest used for hunting and tree climbing. Mountainclan cats are trained from a young age to be skilled climbers, and use this to their advantage when fighting in the mountains and forests. They are able to jump from large heights without being injured, and can quickly navigate the forest like the back of their paw, even in the dead of night, giving them an advantage when fighting in their territory. They don’t fear heights of any sort and are always ready to defend their Starclan given land.
Prey: Squirrels, mice, sparrows, cardinals, blackbirds, voles
Predators: Eagles, wolves, mountain lions, bears
Ranks: Leader, Deputy, Medicine Cat(up to two,) Medicine Cat Apprentice(up to two,) Warrior, Apprentice, Queen, Kit, Elder
Beliefs: Mountainclan cats rely greatly on Starclan’s word, and though it is not the end all be all, it is highly respected and rarely challenged. They wholeheartedly believe their ancestors, the cats who chose to stay by Pebblestar’s side, were brave and loyal to their clan and Starclan, unlike the cats who abandoned the clan alongside Barkfang. Though the clan is involved, the queens primarily care for the kits alongside their mates, differing from Valleyclan’s way of raising young.
Camp: Mountainclan camp is certainly larger than Valleyclan’s, and differs in design. Located in a gorge of the mountain, Valleyclan cats reside in caves. It is difficult to climb to, making it a safe place for cats to reside.
The apprentice den is the smallest, and second closest to the entrance, and can house up to 10 cats.
The warriors den is closest to the entrance, and only a bit bigger than the apprentice den, fitting up to 20 cats.
The medicine cat den is a large cave with many nests and plenty of room to store herbs.
The leader’s den is a small but deep cave that is able to fit many cats if needed.
The elders den is next to the leader’s den, and can house up to 15 cats if needed.
The nursery, hidden from view, is a large cave with a small entrance. It is spaced enough for queens and kits to have room without being stuffed and having to push and shove to make space.
The high rock, a small rock located to the right of the entrance, is where leaders make any announcements and hold clan meetings.
The fresh kill pile is located to the left of the entrance.

Clan Information
Valleyclan
Territory description: Valleyclan territory is a far stretching valley with tall grass and multiple streams and rivers. Though younger cats often fear the larger rivers, they play a crucial role in keeping the territory cool and harder to attack. The unkept grass is perfect for hunting and hiding or attacking from behind in battle.
Prey: Rabbits, voles, fish, small crabs, field mice
Predators: Foxes, dogs and twolegs
Ranks: Leader(Taken,) Deputy, Medicine Cat(up to two at a time,) Medicine Cat Apprentice(up to two at a time,) Warrior, Apprentice, Queen, Kit, Elder
Beliefs: Starclan is very important to Valleyclan members, but free will is more important, and will question Starclan’s words if necessary. They respect their ancestors’ past as rogues, and passionately argue that they were right to leave Fallclan in order to survive. Family is very important, and often times kits are raised by the clan and not just their blood mothers. Valleyclan members do not slay birds of any kind, as they believe them to be the symbol of freedom.
Camp: Located in the southern section on the territory, Valleyclan camp is bordered by thorns bushes and shrubs. The entrance is through a small burrow under said shrubs, which is only big enough for warriors, making it difficult for any predators to enter camp without injury.
The apprentice den, closest to the entrance, is a medium sized burrow with enough room to fit 7-10 apprentices, depending on their age and size.
The warriors den is a similar burrow, but further from the entrance and a bit larger and can fit 7-20 cats.
The medicine den is a medium sized rock, standing crooked in the earth, which allows for storage and room for the medicine cats and apprentices, plus a few extra nests for injured or sick cats.
The leader’s den is a decaying tree stump with a good sized hole, and room for three adults cats, or two adult cats and kits. Often times, the leader’s close friends, mate or kits will sleep here with them. When calling for a clan meeting or announcement, the leader will leap on top of the stump.
The elder’s den is a burrow with feather lined floors for maximum comfort, and is located at the back of camp for less noise and commotion.
The furthest from the entrance, the nursery is furthest dug burrow for the protection of expecting queens and kits. Expecting cats typically move in a moon into pregnancy, as housing with kits can be a headache!
The fresh kill pile is to the left of the entrance.

Plot Points
- Countless moons ago, Fallclan, named after the cascading waterfall in the heart of their territory, lived in peace with plentiful prey and borders that stretched for miles.
- However, as the moons passed and green leaf came, the clan became larger and larger, with many she-cats having multiple litters of kits and passing loners joining.
- Prey gradually became scarce, leading distrust and bitterness between clanmates.
- When leafbare arrived, it was clear there was no way for a clan so large to survive as is with the moons to come.
- Fallclan’s aging leader, Pebblestar, desperately searched for a solution to save the clan while her cats grew more and more resentful.
- The clan was quickly split in two, ones that stood loyal to their Starclan chosen leader and ones that did not.
- Barkfang, one of the strongest and most respected warriors in the clan and Pebblestar’s former mate, called for the clan to be no longer, and for the cats to live as rogues with nothing but their own free will. This way, cats would only have to hunt and gather for themselves.
- Pebblestar and her supporters were horrified at the idea of abandoning clan life, and argued it wasn’t Starclan’s intention for the code and clan to be forgotten, even in difficult circumstances.
- Barkfang didn’t listen, however, and was followed by around half the clan, arguing that Starclan would want them to survive by any means necessary.
- The remaining members of Fallclan vowed revenge on the Barkfang and his rogues for abandoning the clan and code.
- Due to the rogues fending for only themselves, meaningless blood was shed constantly, and it seemed one couldn’t trust a soul.
- Moons later, Barkfang’s grandson, Toad, recieved a message from Starclan urging him to create a clan from the surviving rogues, as peace would only be an option if they came together.
-Toad, with the help of his mate Hawk, established Valleyclan, located in the large valley and rivers that once took up a portion of Fallclan’s territory.
- The remaining cats of Fallclan renamed their clan to Mountainclan, claiming the large mountain and the forest behind it as their new territory.
-Despite the peace in the clans themselves, a growing tension and resentment between the two is constant, and eventual war is unavoidable.
