Sorry for the inactivity

As the title says yeah I'm sorry QWQ Lately life has been hectic, college troubles combined with family drama and some drama in another fandom that made me want to stay off tumblr all together has resulted in me neglecting this blog a bit. I'll do my best to get back to RPing MAGES. As soon as possible! Thank you all for your patience ;u;

“Yu Narukami, it is a pleasure. I am MAGES. the Mad Magician!” 

She stated her title in a proud tone of voice. As the conversation continued she blinked when his masked faded and he mentioned her arcana. He could tell her arcana by simply looking at her..? that was a little...unsettling. She herself didn’t even know it until she took a close look at the card and searched up the meaning of tarot cards. 

“You are very gifted in your observations. May I ask if you have a persona?” 

She assumed he did...also while it may be rude to ask others about their persona, she was curious as to what the personas of other users were.

“Of course, I practically fight them for a living now since I fully woke up. Shadows are a problem when they get out of their own world and appear in this one. After all, shadows are a part of humanity. Though guess I should introduce myself. I have two names. My human one Yu Narukami, and my original one. But, I’m not going to mention it.”

He has his mask fade away. “Still since you also know, you must be a persona user. That said now that I checked, what a familiar arcana. But, something else about it feels familiar. Must be imagining things.”

While MAGES. had no idea where Luminere laboratories was, the thought of possibly exploring it or talking to someone else about science overwrite that worry. She blamed her parents for her immense interest in science and all its working. 

“It is a pleasure. I am MAGES. the Mad Magician. I’m very interested in this place... You say it’s a laboratory?” 

If curiosity killed the cat, it was going to kill her a million times over... 

“Welcome to Luminere labratories, I’m Gaben Johnson, your host for all things science related.” The silverette popped up and waved eagerly. “Please remember to leave any potentially hazardous material in the proper containers before boarding transit station.”

“In all seriousness, please to see another traveler.”

MAGES.’s brows furrowed at what the strange girl said. Look just like someone she knew..? But MAGES. had a fairly unique style, to confuse her with someone else was rather hard. 

“I am MAGES. the Mad Magician. Just who might you be?” 

CC2 walked in a circle around her one more time, before raising an eyebrow. “Yeah, actually. You look just like a girl I always end up fighting together with, but…. you’re definitely not actually her. Something’s different. Whoa are you?”

While her outfit may have been inspired by a witch in some ways, she definitely wasn’t one. She was a high school girl that dyed her hair blue and wore a cosplay 24/7. Of course, there was no way she would ever admit that less something actually force her to say it. 

“Oh trust me dear Luka, I have the making of a Mad Magician! What I wish is for chaos to be wrought upon the world! But, only in the way I please. I am rather picky with my methods.” 

After hearing out the rest of what the boy had to say she smirked and closed her eyes. 

“yes, MAGES.. It is pronounced as if all the letters are capital with a period at the end.”

“What is this place?” 

MAGES. frowned as she continued to wander the unfamiliar setting. She had no idea what this place was.

“Yasoinaba?” 

MAGES. repeated. 

She had never heard of the place, but that was probably due to growing up in a large city for most of her life. She knew the main cities and how to get between them but all of the smaller places... 

“Not at all. I had been on my way home when I fell asleep on the train. Ah, the gods must be angry with me.” 

She frowned and placed a hand on her hip, the other holding on tightly to her staff. 

“You’re in Yasoinaba, you know…that little countryside town that you can barely find on the map?”

Giving the other a small smile he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. 

“…..I’m guessing this isn’t the place you wanted to stop at?”

“I am MAGES. the mad magician! I am no witch!”

With a grin she struck an almost anime-esque pose to match with her enthusiastic statement. While she could use ‘magic’ because of her persona, she definitely wasn’t a witch. Or even cosplaying as one. 

“ Well Fake Hero Luka, it is a pleasure to meet you.”

“Much must have happened for me to live with a mortal. One that it dead at that.” 

“...pardon?” 

MAGES. looked to her persona with a look of bewilderment. Had he truly just said that the blonde she was speaking to was dead? But, they were talking. She couldn’t be dead if they were communicating! 

Then again...This place was meant for the dead. And it wouldn’t be the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to MAGES...

“She is dead. Did you not notice?” 

“N-- I mean of course I did! You are my persona it is only natural! Not to mention I am the Mad Magician!” 

Once again she attempted to cover shock and worry with an act... 

Rei listens carefully to MAGES.’s explanation of how she got her Persona, not really bothered by the dramatic way she was telling it. From what she knew about Personas and how they were gained, it didn’t sound like she’d done anything different…but it still didn’t explain why he’d chosen to become her Persona.

And then she actually summoned him.

She couldn’t help but stare at the version of Chronos before her, that form all too familiar to her. She’d seen that version of him at the top of the clock tower when she’d been kidnapped, and again, a little while after she’d come back, fighting Hi-no-Kagatsuchi. There may have been a few small differences, but it was still the same clockwork god. They even had the same voice.

“Um…a lot of things happened to you here. It’s a really long story.”

She hoped he wouldn’t go rooting around in her memories to find out more. Rei understood why Chronos did that in the first place, but still. It was…weird. Bad weird. And a little creepy.

Okay it was nearly impossible to tell how it was spelled when someone was pronouncing it but somehow MAGES. knew. She just did. Don’t ask her how. 

“Wow, um, if you’re really sure. And it’s nice to meet you, Mages, my name is Nia Insom. I’m…well, I’m no one special I guess. Certainly not as impressive as someone who goes by the name the Mad Magician anyway.” She admitted, rubbing the back of her head.
