So Drukkari wasn't even originally part of the Eternals script. Chloe Zhao just saw the obvious sparks between Lauren and Barry and wrote in a subtle romance for their characters. And it outsold. The power of chemistry. Love to see it.

Broccoli

It all started after they had to get smartphones. One day, while getting cleaned up in the locker room thinking about what Andrew would want to eat that night at their apartment, Neil received a text. He turned his back to lean against the lockers and hid his small smile behind his phone as he opened a message from Andrew.

He almost freaked out. It was.....a giant broccoli with a face. Specifically with Andrew's eyes and mouth. Neil knew both too well to mistake them.

Underneath the picture was a simple message that said, Pasta or pizza?

Neil was far too focused on the broccoli to care about any other food. He almost sent a question asking Andrew how he was a broccoli, and more importantly why he had sent a…broccoli message. But at the same time the message was so unexpected and hilarious that Neil couldn’t figure out how to type something back, too busy trying to keep a smile from forming on his face. He couldn't waste any time getting back to their place for an explanation.

He was on his way out of the locker rooms when he got another text from Andrew. Once again he was using the broccoli filter, this time with the message Pasta or pizza, I need to know. But Neil couldn't get his fingers to type out a response because he was too busy trying to hold in any laughter from looking at that vegetable with Andrew's face telling him to choose what to have for dinner.

"Neil?" one of his teammates asked, a concerned look on her face. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," Neil assured her, pressing his lips together firmly. Of course, Andrew sent him another picture in that moment, the same goddamn broccoli with the message, Neil I'm next in line. Andrew's eyes were looking up, probably waiting for his turn to order food for them that night, but Neil still couldn't get his fingers to work.

"You're shaking," the teammate said. "Are you hurt? You should go to medical if you are."

Neil just nodded, because if he opened his mouth he knew he was going to start laughing, and started to walk away. The moment he was in the parking lot he got another message from Andrew, this time with no caption to go with the broccoli picture giving him a deadpan look. The moment Neil was locked inside his car he let his laughter escape, leaning his forehead against the steering wheel and finally trying to type out a response.

Nel, said a panicked looking Andrew-broccoli before Neil could finish his response.

Why are you broccoli? Neil sent, still laughing to himself over the messages.

Why cant you choose a food group? I got you pizza, Andrew sent back.

WHY ARE YOU BROCCOLI?! Neil sent.

Nobody will believe you.

Been sitting in my drafts for too long, time to let it go.

I dont get how people can say gwyns story is over. Its barley begun. E/riels are saying that her story ended when she returned to the library but I think that shows she has further to grow and heal since the whole point of her arc in acosf was finding the strength to leave the library. And theres still unanswered questions like her singing/possible powers and parentage. Parentage is such a big deal in acotar I dont see how hers can be glossed over. And the valkyries have further to develop too!

This makes me want to place a banner everywhere saying Gwyn's journey is not over.

ACOSF was setting up her arc. She is the secondary character that got more page time after Cassian and Nesta. Even Azriel has less page time than her.

I know someone will say because she is Nesta's friend she has a role to play but then so does Emerie? Why didn't we get to see more from Emerie who we met in ACOFAS?

What Sarah set up for Gwyn in ACOSF is clearly something that makes her the supporting MC in the next book if it's Azriel's book and I think it is.

Let's break down some points:

• She expressed that she is sick of being in the library for two years and wants to leave. By the end of ACOSF it is clearly stated that she didn't so.. she clearly did not achieve that goal yet. Sarah kept that door open for the next book.

• She said even training did not help her heal from the guilt and grief she feels over losing her twin sister. That doesn't sound me like her healing journey was over.. it hasn't even begun exactly.

• She definitely has powers that we didn't see yet. Nesta felt a crackling sort of energy and I usually associate cracklings with fire and embers because that's how Feyre's describes Beron's fire magic when she felt it in her.

• Sarah set up a backstory and a mystery surrounding Gwyn's family especially on who her grandfather and father are. I think her father won't be as relevant as her grandfather since Sarah was specific about him being a High Fae male from the Autumn Court. In my theories I believe it's Eris.

• Also, winning the Blood Rite and being the first ever non-Illyrian Carynthian connects her to the Illyrian plotline because I have a feeling the Valkyries as a whole will clash with the Illyrians.

• Potential romance with Azriel? The whole shadows singing? The fact that they both sing? Sarah connected two exclusive elements to Azriel (the ribbon) and Gwyn (the shadows)? A thing of secret, lovely beauty?

• Gwyn is also doing research on the Dread Trove? Merrill might be evil with the whole wind thing sounding suspicious since Koschei communicates through the wind?

So you're right Anon. Gwyn's journey is definitely not over based on all of this. Sarah even said the next books will have more Pegasi and guess who the mini Pegasus loved more? Gwyn!

Whether she ends up with Azriel or not I definitely want to see more of her and of the Valkyries even as a novella. She's a such a comfort character.
