There wasn't much time before an email was sent again, the contents containing more questions than answers.

"A week or so ago, I think. I was called to the Director's office, and you were there, saying that you were gonna be home more often than not. Though, that could just be me remembering things wrong. You always said I had a bad memory."

An email is sent from a seemingly familiar address, yet the context was a bit odd.

"Hey. It's me, Arven. Uh, I don't know if this is a good time or anything, but you said that you were gonna be home more often, though you're still gone from home. Is everything okay with work and such?"

I supposed I have . Currently managing more of my research , I am certain you know some of it . It is a rigorous journey due to the circumstance but it will be done , and successfully if I may add . Do remind me how long ago did I tell you that I will return home ?"
