Though the business has an online presence and over 11,000 followers on Facebook, Millslagle says online mediums have not been very effective at driving sales. She attributes this to Facebook algorithms that make it difficult to reach all their followers and the low opening rates associated with email campaigns. Millslagle decided to try mobile marketing. She reached out to TextMarks because the service had a long business history, was reasonably priced, and was accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
