Different anon and I know this kind of sounds farfetched but let's imagine that step sis is also Ushi's imouto. Tooru wants to hate u since u're the same flesh and blood as his rival. At first, he does just that. He is mean to u, tries to tell u that Toshi-nii doesn't want u because u're not good enough as a sister. It goes on for a time until he realizes that u are the only thing that Ushi can't have and he is going to take advantage of that. 🙃

Tooru nii isn’t the best at self control, is one thing you learn before anything else about him. I can actually see it happening a lot quicker than he might expect too, the slight obsession he has with ‘ruining’ you. At first he just thinks it’ll be easy to ignore you, be mean to you any time you try to bond with your new niisan and stay as far away from you as possible, the both of you. But you are always coming to his door to bring him things, to spend time with him, to care for your niisan <3

It’s because your real big brother doesn’t want to spend time with you, huh? Are you really so dumb as to think he’ll want to spend time with you if you’re just using him as a distraction? No, if you want to spend time with Tooru nii you should prove that you’re more devoted to him. It only makes sense right? So you start hanging out in his room all the time, let him do whatever he wants to do with you in toe. It’s not your fault that you’re missing your niichan and Tooru nii fills that void so well. But then he starts asking you so many questions, all about Toshi nii and you pout because it’s always about getting back at Toshi nii for him :((

He also always hogs you when Toshi nii does come home on free weekends. You want to spend time with both of them, and Tooru doesn’t allow it. But you know your big brother won’t be bothered, and Tooru nii definitely will. He makes you wear his shirts after he’s worn them, for ‘bonding’ time. He makes you sleep in his bed /: Tooru nii in competition with Toshi nii would be sooo clingy, constantly showing you off to everyone as ‘his’ little sister, never Toshi’s.

And when that final switch flicks in his mind that there’s one more way that he can have you that Wakatoshi never can, he’ll absolutely take full advantage of that. At that point it doesn’t matter what you want, not really, he’ll make you want to agree with him in some way. And he promises not to tell anyone, but deep down he really wants your Toshi nii to find out 3:)

Oh, oh-, wouldn't Tooru-nii's friends be curious about his cute imouto that they see in the halls, all bubbly and bright but quiet when they are around, in particular Iwa-chan? Wouldn't you be super curious abt Tooru-nii's bestfriend and childhood friend too, having watched him grow up with your beloved Tooru-nii? And despite having conditioned you to remain quiet around Iwa-chan, Tooru-nii still can't help but bite his lip and pull you just a little closer towards him when he sees the way you would peek at Iwa-chan from beside him, and when he sees Iwa-chan's gaze pass over you more than necessary that night? It's Iwa-chan but Tooru-nii still can't help the feeling bubbling in his chest because you are his imouto-chan.

It’s strange. You are a bright girl, happy and boisterous around your friends and at school, like your niichan. But when Oikawa calls for you to make your bed at the end of his, you become so quiet. It’s not too fat farfetched that you just need a little more to warm up to them. But Iwa, you’ve known Tooru’s precious Iwa-chan for so long. You watch them as they talk and flick through the channels, doing your little task as quietly as possible. But you pout so sadly, all on your own in the corner, and Iwa is just trying to help.

He asks if you want to watch a movie with them, and you freeze at the attention. Like a cute, little deer in headlights. You don’t want to make Tooru upset, but the house is so quiet when you can’t be around him. So you nod, very slowly. You spend the night with all of them, and you actually shift back into your bubbly self rather quickly, tucked to Tooru nii’s side. When you all brush your teeth together in the bathroom Makki squeezes you in between him and Iwa to fight over the pink toothbrush.

Even your niichan seems to be having a good time. But then you all tuck into bed, and Tooru leans his head over the edge of his bed so he can look down at yours. And then he whispers how rude you really are for ignoring him all day, that Iwa-chan doesn’t like you, that you shouldn’t bother his friends and that next time you shouldn’t talk to them at all. Or else he’ll be really upset. >:(

And the next morning, when everyone leaves, you better make it up to him. Because you are his little sister, and he won’t let you ever forget it.
