She was doing anything and everything that she possibly could to not think about Riley or the breakup. Bouncing from friend to friend made it a little easier to deal with, knowing that if she was left on her own that the breakdown would be inevitable. Showing up at the compound was a risk knowing that Riley could potentially be there with Briggs but it was a risk she was willing to take when she had texted Artemis and asked her if she could come over to chill and she certainly hadn't arrived empty handed as she stepped through threshold of the vampire's room, a bottle in one hand and bag of snacks in the other. "Booze and snacks, check," Ryker muses as she moves further into the room, setting the stuff down on the bed before plopping herself down across the foot of it. Being a functioning member of society seemed damn near impossible since the gala, what with the sleep deprivation and the constant state of intoxication. Riley was okay, she was fine, alive, and yet Ryker felt so far from any of those. The absolutely heart-breaking feeling that had filled her lungs and barred her from the ability to breathe during the OEA's little show had left her incapable of closing her eyes and while most were relieved that Riley was alive, Ryker just couldn't seem to get past the image of her girlfriend on display the way she was. It was an image that plagued her mind every time she closed her eyes. It was no surprise to find her at Rousseau's, double shot of whiskey on the bar top in front of her. It didn't matter how hard she tried to mask the heartache that was surging through her, blood shot eyes and reddened cheeks, she was certain, gave her away to just about anybody that laid their eyes on her. She had tried to ignore it, to forget it but nothing was helping and when it finally got to the point where all she wanted to do was curl up in a ball and hide away from the world she knew that she she shouldn't be alone and nobody had ever been better company than Billie. The hug was very much welcomed has she forced a faint smile to her lips, a faint laugh falling from her lips as she shook her head at the other. "Trash tv and being little spoon has never sounded more enticing," Ryker hums in return. "I brought some booze too. I figured we could probably both use it right about now."

Two glasses were held daintly in her hands, a faint smile tugging against her lips as she finally laid sights on Riley Shaw only for it to falter as she realized who she was talking to, Briggs Mikaelson, and her movements halted until she eventually made eye contact with the femme, motioning for her to come over. Dark hues watched her every move, offering one of the glasses of liquor as Riley finally made it to her, smile returning as she took in the other. "You look stunning," Ryker complimented. "And I look about as uncomfortable as I feel in this thing. How do you do it?"

Brows rise as a smile immediately tugs across her features, dark irises shining beneath the dimly lit living room lights. She had waited so long for a question like this, waited for Riley to be ready for more than just dating. The girl beside her was everything to her, her entire world and she really couldn't help the excited giggle that escaped her lips. "Well when you put it that way," Roxy teases softly. "It seems only logical that we do. There's nowhere I'd rather start and end my days than right beside you, Riley, so you can count me in."
