in your mdzs pokemon au, what happened to Zorua/Zoruark when WWX dies? Did she hide near of Gusu to watch over Yuan? Did she die with her partner and the Hisui Zoroark if here coming back to life?

So sorry for replying so late but here's my thoughts

To be completely honest I don't have a definite answer because when creating the AU, I never ended up deciding whether the plot was gonna be a 1:1 with the original or deviate after wwx becomes yllz so that he doesn't die.

But if we assume the siege happens and he dies I think that Zoroark and wwx's other pkmn would go into hiding. She wouldn't die because well, she already died once as a normal Zoroark and became the Hisuian ghost (This happens during the war with the Wens when wwx gets thrown into Burial Mounds. All of his pokemon get killed, some become spirits that wwx learns to control and others pass on. From then on yllz!wwx makes a new team composed of all ghost pokemon).

Plus according to official lore Hisuian Zoroark are full of anger and resentment and I think that fits this AU really well, she'd be too out of it to watch over a-yuan. Sadly the happy and playful little Zorua is gone forever 😔

Wwx was a safe haven for all those ghost pkmn and once he dies there is no one that can control/channel their resentful energy so they'd all go into hiding/start haunting places.

I drew a Pokemon Crossbreed!

Local Non-Pokemon artist draws a Pokemon, and a crossbreed, at that... This was difficult :,)

But either way, it's done! This was a thing I did for a real good friend of mine, and I wanted to share it here, :D Is there any feedback or criticism that can be taken here? It's a mix between Hisuian Zorua and Mudkip!

I wanted to change the ribbon-like ends of Zorua's floofy parts to bubbles for the Water typing, and change the hair floof to the Mudkip fin. I also merged the cheek floof of Zorua with Mudkip's cheeks. Honestly, the colouring was the hardest part here, as it was a little hard to mix Mudkip's blue-orange colour scheme with Zorua's grey-red scheme, but I made it work with VERY minimal parts of the warmer colours, lol. It was fun trying to mimic the Pokemon artstyle, though!

Okay I need to share this lil AU I made before I just implode

Drayton is a hisuian zorua! He got isekai’d from hisui when Ingo/PLA protag managed to find a way back to present time! He landed in Unova along w/ Ingo but Drayton landed near opelucid city and was found by his soon to be parents! He was injured when they found him and he certainly didn’t trust them as ppl in hisui never treated him well (his zoroark parents were killed :( ) so they had a bit of trouble nursing him back to health until Drayden made a visit bc his son made a phone call about a weird zoura that was injured

Once Drayton saw Drayden he was literally just pikachu surprised face with stary eyes bc he thought Dreyden looked so cool!!!! So he begrudgingly allows his parents to nurse him back to health but he also sticks to Drayden like glue so he was nicknamed Drayton :)

Once he’s healed up he started causing mischief like zoura tend to do! Although he’s grown to like his parents along side Drayden now! One day he shifted to look like a human child similar to Drayden and Drayden’s son just to cause a bit of mischief and eventually he just starts spending a lot of time in his human form as he finds out being a human is fun!!! Like really fun!! Eventually one day his parents kinda just sit him down and ask him if he would like to be a human bc they notice he stays in that form a lot and become their son (they cannot have biological kids bc fertility issues so I imagine Iris is also adopted!) so he becomes their son and the nickname Drayton becomes his official name!!! Although he still shifts back to a zoura sometimes at home or in private!

I think iris was away training or something when Drayton first arrived and her parents just called her saying they adopted another kid but once she comes back home she’s told the full truth about her new baby bro and let me tell you, THEY HIT IT OFF INSTANTLY!!!!! Vibing together as dragon sibs!!!

Eventually Drayton becomes a trainer which is a little weird at first but all of his pkmn joined him willingly as they wanted to get stronger! Plus having a trainer who’s a Pokemon makes it easier for him to understand their needs and wants! He also enrolls into blueberry Academy for the fun of it as he wants to learn a lot about being human! He absolutely THRIVES in the polar biome as it reminds him of Alabaster Icelands!

No one but his family know he’s a zoura so making friends is a little challenging at first bc his first friend knew he was a zoura and now he’s keeping that part of himself hidden but eventually he meets the rest of the E4 and they all click quite well together!!!

Jeebus this ask is probably pretty long oops and I didn’t even talk about how’d Drayton would be when opelucid froze over, that’ll probably be its own ask lol~Drayton angst anon💛

But also imagine tho if he and N interacts too, like N immediately knows Drayton is a Zorua, bc he thought it was his own Zorua. Imagine N and Iris arguing bc of that tho, N saying how hypocritical it is for Drayton, a Zorua, to disguise himself as a human, to "capture" his fellow pokemon. Ofc, Drayton was quite young during that, he was scared of N, but Iris was there defending him that N has a lot of nerve saying that, considering that he himself has captured pokemon too. N said those pokemon are his friends, Iris shot back how Drayton's pokemon are also his friends, he didn't capture them, they joined him willingly

It'd be cool to see if Iris and N have some sort of beef over that tho, bc ofc, N was kinda misguided at the start of the story, while Iris is rather protective of her brother. Even after things settled down and N tried to atone for his misdeeds, and while Drayton was starting to be comfortable w him, w N even leaving his own Zorua for Drayton, he and Iris still don't see eye to eye

But y'know as a mischievous Zorua, would he even be a slacker in this au? Imagine him turning to a Slakoth sometimes too that'd be cute hahah

i always meant to ask but always forget, do Rohan's parents and/or Volo's parents have a pokemon team (or i guess pokemon partners since pokeballs weren't super around). All i remember is Volo's mom having a togepi

YEA they are all trainers in their own right! they kinda each have different views on what pokemon are to them

rohan's parents, especially his mother tamura, are the most highly skilled trainers of all my ocs, rivaled only by rohan himself. both his parents train pkmn that are similar in nature to themselves, so their bonds are very strong w their respective teams.

tamura (rohan's mom):

tamura is raised in a brothel by a doting and protective group of courtesans after her mother was murdered. she sees a lot of fucked up shit as a kid despite how her caregivers try to shelter her, so she has a really warped outlook on life. she also develops unrivaled ability as a swordswoman.....so she becomes this adult who loves nothing more than fighting men she finds handsome to the death. she has no remorse. she is a perpetual child playing a game and they're like toys to her. in what i headcanon as a warring-states-adjacent time period, i think tamura gets away with this for a while before she eventually has a bounty put on her head....but even then, this team of pokemon with extremely powerful hypnotizing abilities has been helping her escape punishment all along, and she's certainly not going to let herself be caught just because the government in johto is demanding it.

tamura GREATLY prefers the company of her pokemon to that of other people. her team are basically extensions of herself. she naturally bonds w ghost and psychic types.

her shedinja came from hansuke's ninjask.

hansuke (rohan's dad):

hansuke's team only seriously takes shape when he starts training under tamura; when he still had his family, his shelmet was his only pkmn, but after he lost everything in a bandit raid, he met zorua and ralts during his aimless job-seeking travels. his ralts was the the only one of his mons to fully evolve before he met tamura and served as a protector of him and the others, so they're all really close. each of hansuke's pokemon is a partner that he battles against, and after tamura dies and hansuke and rohan flee to hisui, hansuke and his team form an insular family unit, especially when he begins to realize that his son is distancing himself from him.

alexius (volo's dad):

alexius is a military general and his pokemon serve more war-time use vs being partner pokemon or pets. falinks and bastiodon are pokemon that would fight alongside him, while mudsdale could aid him both as a steed and to help move shit. gyarados and clawitzer would be for naval battle. staraptor could fight if it needed to as well, but would see more use delivering letters and transporting wounded soldiers. honest to god, i don't have much for alexius rn, but i am pretty confident that this would be his team. he isn't around much when volo lives in the celestican society.

cynthia (volo's mom):

it's not often that my headcanoned celesticans would become powerful trainers just for shits and giggles like people do in the modern day...inside their cities, they prioritize order, peace, and worship, so bigass pokemon swinging around knocking shit over is prob a no-no. that being said, smaller pokemon are everywhere in their cities and live alongside the ppl. and volo's mom is a kooky lady who pokemon just LOVE, so she especially is always surrounded by them (her son inherits this quality from her.) i think that volo and his mother cynthia are very close in his youth...he keeps her memory alive in many ways, and although he has very complicated feelings about her, he misses her badly. i think volo trains the pokemon he remembers from his childhood.
