I saw a joke that "if Alastor ever kissed Charlie, he would poke her eye out with his nose", but after looking at a VivziePop sketch of Alastor kissing KayCee from ZooPhobia, it would actually look more like this:

I've been mulling over something. I read one of Vivzie's interviews lately and I've come to some conclusions about Alastor's character (these are just my own theories, though, so we'll see how everything actually develops in s2).

Unfortunately, I believe, canonically, Alastor is NOT aromantic. Maybe on the aro-spectrum, and deffinitely asexual, but not aro per se. In this interview, Vivzie confirms Alastor's asexuality, and plays with his aro identity saying something like "I don't want to ruin people's fun with him". This could be queerbaiting in a sense (I don't actually think so, when Vivzie is high on queer representation, but aro people are very left behind in the community, sadly).

But she continues to add on that there are plans for Alastor in the future of the series, saying something like "I can't confirm that he is aromantic". To me, this reads like we will see romance in Alastor's life in season 2, wether it's a past lover/romantic interest or a new one I could not say. She would've had no problem in confirming Alastor as aromantic otherwise, and I interpret this as Vivzie not wanting to spoil part of the plot.

I used to think that Alastor's deal would most surely be with Lilith, but, while it could be the case, I'm not so sure anymore (although it could be a fun dinamic). But, nontheless, I think Lilith's and Alastor's 7 year absence and his deal are intertwinded somehow.

My bet, for the future romance plot, is that it could be one of these three: either Lilith, whom the fandom is already considering in a sense; the mysterious Eve, or... Lucifer. HEAR ME OUT. I don't say this as a Radioapple enjoyer. The reasons I think it could be Lucifer are the same that I think it could be Eve (although we know absolutely nothing about her).

Mainly, I draw these conclusions from the early comic Zoophobia, from where we know Alastor's character was taken. In this comic, his character is supposed to have a crush on the character of KayCee, a powerful being with whom he could have made an alliance to reign chaos.

KayCee's descriptions could match either of the three romantic interests I mentioned, but what strikes me more are her defining traits: white and gold colour palette, and the apple. We know not all of Vivzie's characters stem from Zoophobia, and the ones that do have (understandably so) went through important changes through the years, mediums and aesthetics.

BUT these could be some clues into what we might discover in s2 of Hazbin. And, so long, the character we've seen fit this palette and apple motif is none other than Lucifer himself. Eve, on the other hand, is also shown during the intro sporting some sort of apple motif, which could be indicative of her future appearance in the series. But we know so little about her, and, knowing Hazbin Hotel will only have 2 seasons confirmed, I'm not sure we will see more of her.

I personally don't like the idea of losing Alastor as an aromantic character. I'd much rather not see him in a romantic relationship whatsoever in the canon series. But that is not my call to make, and he will always be our ace-king no matter what. Also, that wouldn't mean his story or character will be less interesting or developed. So we'll have to wait and see...

A few words about Charlastor

Today I saw this post:

(Sorry, I can't post the link, Twitter doesn't want to work on my computer today :\ )

I will quote it here because it made me think again:

Currently, the closest person to Charlie is Vaggie, while Alastor invades her space, Vaggie and Alastor are opposed to each other, Vaggie wants to run a hotel for Charlie (her whole life is based on Charlie...), while Alastor has his own reasons (more on which later we don't fully know) and the two are portrayed as opposing forces pulling Charlie, Vaggie in one direction and Alastor in the other. Charlie's relationship with Alastor will deepen in future seasons (which the author wrote about, that Alastor and Charlie are the main characters of HH and what we see after the pilot), thus distancing it from Vaggie, which we see already in the first season (and what I wrote posts about ), that Charlie's relationship with Vaggie will surely deteriorate as it goes on, their quarrel over Vaggie's lie was, in my opinion, just the first glitch in their relationship (although not very well written in my opinion anyway), at some point in the story Charlie will had to choose between Vaggie and Alastor (and Niffty):

And considering the other screenshots, they are either forshadowings only to the fact that in future seasons Charlie will be getting closer to Alastor and away from Vaggie, or they may generally herald Alastor's victory over Vaggie, it depends, they are definitely confirmation that the further the seasons, the more Charlostor's content we will have than Chaggie's, the only question is which one will be the endgame?

Besides, I read about Zoophobia and old sketches of Alastor and Autumn, and in my opinion Autumn reminds me a bit of Charlie... but in order.... First, let's go to Roo or Eve (if you prefer), well, I saw one Tik Tok and I definitely agree with it:

Charlie actually resembles Eve much more than Lilith, it always surprised me that Charlie has more father-like features both in appearance and character, and has none of Lilith's (especially when it comes to her ahem... physical qualities...), but I thought they just made her a typical "daddy's girl" and that's it... but if Eve is Charlie's mother and not Lilith..., we still had Lucifer's comment that he stole from Adam both wives, both Lilith and Eve, and although he married Lilith, he probably slept with Eve..., then the only question arises: why did Lilith decide to raise a child that was not her own?

Charlie and Eve (Roo) have exactly the same nose, the same lines under their eyes (Charlie in his demonic form has them) and the body sharp is the same, Lucifer by the way does not have a nose (:D), Lilith has a completely different nose, only Eve's nose matches Charlie's....

Moving on, we know that Alastor made a deal with someone, many people speculate that he made it with Lilith, but there are also people who believe that with Roo and I, although I also considered Lilith at the beginning, it was thrown in our faces this 7-year break (that Lilith has not been in Hell for 7 years and Alastor disappeared for 7 years), seems too obvious..., moreover, we know that Lilith had a contract with Adam (end of episode 8), and Adam did not know Alastor, so how could Alastor have an agreement with Lilith and be with her for these 7 years in heaven, if Adam didn't know him at all..., while Roo..., and this is where the issue of Zoophobia begins, i.e. Viv's first idea, where most of the HH characters came from:

In Zoophobia we had the so-called KayCee, i.e. chaos itself and the main antagonist, interestingly KayCee liked apples (a reference to Eve and her picking an apple from the Garden of Eden, the first sin?):

KayCee had white hair, horns, and the original Alastor was in love with her:

So KayCee is nothing other than the prototype of Eve.

Moving on, the original Alastor was also obsessed with Autumn, the character of Zoophobia, a blonde deer:

Autumn is a very helpful and good-hearted character and: ,,Although outwardly he appears mature and rational, in reality he is extremely insecure, suffering from low self-esteem. Autumn continues to seek recognition and thanks from others for a little help from him, showing that he needs the appreciation of others. Autumn is also very sensitive and short-tempered: in the webcomic, when Rusty teases him about the little antlers, Autumn explodes in anger and violently scolds him."

Doesn't this in some way resemble the description of Charlie..., a girl with a good heart, wanting to help everyone, and also sometimes quick-tempered (when, for example, heaven rejects her or when Susan pisses her off :D )

So we have Eve, who used to be KayCee, and Charlie, who has a lot of Autumn in her, and if it turns out that Charlie is actually Eve's daughter, Charlie will be a combination of KayCee and Autumn, considering her appearance and character traits are taken from both, two characters that the original Alastor was crazy about ;)

I just wanna clear this up because I've seen a lot of people get old Alastor lore mixed up (especially on twitter). Again, I only tagged these posts for Charlastors because they're a community I find welcoming within the fandom and I know a lot have genuine interest in his romantic side/ability to have relationships.

I used to follow Zoophobia and remember some tidbits, but since it was so long ago it's understandable a lot of stuff is probably lost! So I hope this will serve as a post for anyone unfamiliar. Feel free to add if you remember/have screenshots of anything.

Basically, before Hazbin Hotel, Viv had a webcomic called Zoophobia. Alastor was later taken from this series and added to the demon crew, who would later be used for Hazbin.

During the Zoophobia era, Alastor was kind of a little shota lmao

He was a cannibal deer who had an obsession with this other deer character called Autumn

Generally he was obsessed with ALL magical deer, but Autumn was hilarious to get a reaction out of so Alastor found it funny to torment his obsession, as all psycho killers do.

However, he had somewhat human qualities such as his relationship with Mimzy as most people know about. I believe it was mostly on Mimzy's part rather than Alastor's.

Before Alastor was removed to be added to Hazbin, he was written to have a big crush on another character!

KayCee was a chaos spirit who Alastor fell in love with. I have some theories that she possibly could be a character recycled for an upcoming villain in Hazbin, but we'll see about that... (yes, it could be Roo).

I think it's interesting seeing this side to him. I do believe his character has hardly changed since this development, but I'm sure he has been given much more depth.

KayCee was also one of Viv's faves.

This is it! The reveal of main antagonists of Zoophobia, also known as Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. Not wasting the time.....

The first character is Jestine-Deity of Dreams, before known as a Sin of Pride. A long time ago she tried to overthrown Lucifer from throne, but she failed. After this act she was banished from hell. But soon Malvada offered to her to become the Deity of Dreams in exchange for her serving him. She was placed under supervision of second main antagonist-KayCee.

KayCee-The Deity of Chaos with demonic origin, like how Jestine, and like Jestine she's serving to Malvada-Strange and mystical person, She wants only one-to see the whole world in chaotic fire. But she need a help to do this terrific plan, and firstly she was hoping to our third antagonist-Mirage

Mirage is Demon-Oni, which (in my headcanon at least), can take over the body of various species. A long time ago, after Jestine's failed coup d'etat, Oni was subjected to genocide for that, they was supporting Jestine in coup. But Malvada saved Mirage from fate to being killed in massacre. Despite she was owe him for that, Mirage wants something more that just being a puppet in someone's hands. Once she discovered information about Sun Wukong's rod-Artefact, which can gave to his user the power, which subject only for chosen one. So after this, she make the escape plan alongside with Phineas-at this moment, lover of Jestine (Yeah, i used some old canon things in my HC). They escaped because of Gale, in which Mirage take over. Now Mirage and Phineas want to find this artefact to become most powerful subject in the world. But someone also wants to take this power, like how our fourth and last character in this time-Tha-Haarut

Tha-Haarut is a right hand of Jestine. He's a Deity of Fantasies and caretaker of Jestine's daughter. But as a Mirage he's not loyal to Malvada, but wants to not show this. He was obsessed by idea being most powerful deity in Panteon (place where living various deities, like how Autumn or Heff. At this moment the most powerfull deity in Panteon is Father Sky), so when Mirage discovored the existance of Sun Wukong's rod, Tha-Haarut decided to find this artefact for all cost. (Yeah. I know that he looks like how piece of ShiihS, so wait for redesing of him)

That's all. Malvada is only at last guys. The most main antagonist is so important for Zoophobia's universe, that he needs to other page.

Oh yeah sure plenty of people were headcanoning it I assume behind closed doors, Gwen had mad ace energy, you can’t deny, but I didn’t see anyone vocalising the aro headcanon online, just the ace headcanon, and half of those were the same person asking other people what they thought. And absolutely those ace vibes were unintentional, it just happened that the way Gwen was written lined up like that, she was just that kind of character. Like @vivziepop used to ship Alastor with other characters when he was just her DeviantArt and Tumblr OC, the main two he was shipped with being Mimzy and KayCee, the former being a friend whose advances Alastor always seemed a little uncomfortable with, then meant simply as flustered friend not wanting to ruin the friendship, before Viv realised what she was actually building to. Then the latter, this all powerful hatted cloud lady whose power Alastor was drawn to, meant at the main villain of Viv’s webcomic ‘ZooPhobia’ before she ended it and redeveloped the Hell-focused ideas as ‘Hazbin Hotel’ and ‘Helluva Boss’, her Hellaverse. Lucifer has her Apple sceptre in the final version of the show. And with all the talk of who Alastor made a deal with, I do think a version of this character will end up in the show, even if with a different name and design. I’m pretty sure she’ll end up being the Root of Evil, a.k.a. Roo a.k.a. Eve, based on the storybook opening of ‘Hazbin Hotel’ alone. Since that book showed Good and Evil as actual characters, like Good was a sentient force and Evil was a sentient force, and if you watch the scene again with that in mind, paying attention to what Charlie is saying and the visuals of the other characters outside of Lilith and Lucifer, it does look like Evil possesses Eve when the two give her the Apple, that those red eyes making up the void of Hell seen during the scene (and again in the season watching Alastor all the time in the background) are a part of her, who then literally takes the world in her hand and it cracks a little in red, since Evil has literally infected the creations of Good. I do think this also means in the series, “God Is Good” will be a very literal sentence, that when Viv said God wouldn’t be in the series in the way she did, she simply meant he wouldn’t be ‘God’ as he is biblically depicted, the physical embodiment of the concept of goodness being her capital ‘G’ god. So standing up to Heaven would be much worse than Charlie thinks it will be in the long run, realising what it is really doing.

Theory on how hazbin hotel can connect to zoophobia

In the world of hazbin hotel, becoming god is like galactus from marvel comic. The last surviving being’s at the end of the universe become the next god. So the end of show is Charlie starting to be train in advance to become the next god by the current god (it reveal he just didn’t know because he was busy and so he just make hell infinite to deal with issues). Charlie survive the end of the universe and resurrect her friends and Charlie create the zoophobia universe.

Charlie and vaggie have a son name Lucifer jr. but Charlie is too busy making the universe to spend with her wife, friends and son. As you can imagine this end destroy her marriage and relationship with her son. So Lucifer.jr try to take over his mum position for never talk to her (Charlie just bitch slap him to the new hell she made).

This made Charlie realize that neglect her love ones. So she made other gods to do work for her, so she could spend time with her loves one and try to patch things up with vaggie.

Btw Cameron is from the previous universe, Kaycee just sent her to the future (safe heaven barrier is explained as a lie (everyone think it just bigger in the inside) Charlie made, because she isn’t done with whole universe yet)

I don’t see how that’d be possible since Nico is already in Safe Haven

As for Jestine/Kaycee I haven’t thought all too much about them, the comic didn’t really expand on WHY Cameron was sent to Safe Haven or what interest Jestine/Kaycee had in sending her there, so I never got invested into those reasons

Hi mr zoophobia expert, Can I ask a question? Are jestine and kaycee cousin

They have an undisclosed relation to eachother based off of their interactions and looking at the designs. But while kaycee is a deity, jestine is only a sin.

I believe they find use of eachothers existence in some way that leads to them getting along somewhat.

I do not have much info to go off of because they are only seen together for a handful of pages plus info on them is rather scared besides the fact that Jestine is sour for being locked away and punished and is in general a not fun person to be around. And kaycee is a sanity lacking deity who is the embodiment of chaos who lives to enjoy chaos and stories as they are lived in current time.

I am not an expert per say, I’ve just spent YEARS in this fandom and have absorbed so much info as I dived down rabbit holes often.
