Honestly, deep inside Suriel was fanboying. Not only did he get to meet all the Twince members when they visited Lotte World Indoor Ice Skate Rink, where he worked; not only did he end up as an ice skating instructor for their maknae. Now, he got to meet Tzuyu off work. He kept it his little secret, who would have believed him anyway. Besides, he didn’t want to get her in trouble; the last thing she needed was a scandal.

He’s not sure what he expected from the story she was telling him -- it was unbelievable. But then so was their friendship, thus maybe he should give her a benefit of doubt. “To a meatloaf?” His eyes widened in shock. “I feel like it’s not exactly the most effective way to stop the burglar. I mean, he can just eat his way through the meatloaf. Even if it’s a gigantic meatloaf... Wait, or was he a vegetarian...” He mauled on the thought for a moment. “Nah, that still changes nothing. I mean, digging through it is an option too. Unless he can’t stand a thought of touching meat.”

♡. 黛玉 — “what even is an inkling? i’ve honestly never heard that word before? maybe i have. i probably have-- oh, wait, you mean … okay, never mind i got it.” after being here in korea for so long, there was still some words she mistook for another or just didn’t remember at all. speaking all the three languages she knew every day wasn't easy for her memory, honestly. one would think that she would remember easier but, actually, she forgot more and more every day. there were days where she spoke a mix of korean, chinese and english. it was then you knew that she was completely lost in her own mind. it wasn't easy, but she managed. all she needed to do was to think a little more and maybe, speak a little less? after all, she spoke without thinking twice most of the times. it was an issue, actually, but she ignored it and continued being a giant child. "sorry, what were we even talking about? i forgot--"

“i wish i could and i wish they were, oppa,” she sighed loudly, shoulders slumping down. “i haven’t seen my mom in over a month, you know…”

“but anyways, it’s not that late and i don’t want to go back just yet. i won’t stay out past my curfew, i promise!” narrowing her eyes, she looked up at him, “it’s not because i’m boring you, right? right?” the night market was one of the best parts and there were still so many food stalls she wanted to try but she wouldn’t feel safe doing so alone.

His expression falls slightly at her response, having realized a little too late that his statement had hit the wrong sentiment. ❝ Ah, that’s right! It must be so much more difficult for you, Tzuyu-yah. Having your parents live overseas is quite difficult, hm? ❞

He blinks slightly at her latter question, letting out an amused laugh and shakes his head slowly in response.  ❝ No, no. Indeed not. How could anyone who makes my wallet feel lighter be boring? ❞ His voice is light and teasing, feeling rather content in being able to stroll about the night market that was fortunately quite close to the younger’s agency building.  ❝ I’m only asking because I don’t need your PD-nim to sue me for keeping you out in the cold for too long. ❞

andromeda: do you consider yourself social? sometimes i can be and sometimes i can’t, i mean most of the time it’s easy to be sociable but sometimes it gets tiring and i’d rather be alone or i’d rather just be with the members. i can also get really shy so i’m kind of awkward at times but it hasn’t been that big of a problem yet.

centaurus: favourite holiday? christmas i guess? but valentine’s day and white day are really fun even if i don’t really get chocolates or have anyone to make them for...and pepero day is nice because the fans send me pepero to last a whole week

“but unnie, that can be forever from now! why can’t you tell me now?” whining slightly by the end, lips stuck out into an uncharacteristic pout hoping that would be enough to diffuse her unnie. jihyo refusing to answer just made her want to get a response even more, specially with that jab. it wasn’t like she had asked something extremely difficult. she was old enough to do this, right? “you can’t tell me that you didn’t sneak off with your friends in high school! tell me some of your tricks,” she asked again, tugging on jihyo’s arms and shaking it back and forth. 

Being the responsible yet supportive leader of Twice, she shakes her head and looks away, trying to avoid her maknae’s signature look that would persuade her. “Tzuyu-yah, you gotta go! One, no- two days is too many to skip! We’re suppose to set examples for Once!” there is a faint chuckle even after her own words despite how serious she intends them to be, “but even our Once need a study break. If you just happen to skip school, I wouldn’t do it in the middle of the week- It has to be a Monday or Friday. I think school’s understand the most if you don’t feel well or if you’re sick over the weekend. Don’t be sick next week, Tzuyu-yah!”
