I put together a list of accessible clothing places when I worked in pediatrics - since it was for pediatrics many of them were specifically for kids and some were more for sensory issues, but I’m dropping some here just in case it’s helpful to anyone:

There’s a decent amount out there for medical “recovery clothing”, not just this brand, but I included it just as an example of clothing with port access.

Adaptive underwear/bras/tops with side and front fasteners.

Tommy Adaptive actually has a lot of options like magnetic closures, elastic waistbands, and Velcro closures that are accessible without looking “medical”. Catch it when there’s a sale going and it’s not too pricey either.

Similar to the Tommy line, but with more variety in aesthetics IMO. Link says kids but they have plenty for adults too! When there’s a sale on it’s actually pretty affordable.

IZ Adaptive - including this one as an honorable mention, but it’s the priciest of all.

Unfortunately as OP alluded to, it can be hard to find clothing that fits one’s specific needs - even if something is labeled “adaptive” doesn’t mean it will work for every disabled person, or even every person with the same condition. But I figured I’d share what I know is out there. I hope it’s helpful to somebody!

I feel like for every ten small businesses that make autistic/sensory safe clothing there’s like 1 that makes medically accessible clothing. You can get noise muffling from headphones instead of having it built into a hood. I, however, have to go to the disabled bathroom and take off my fucking pants to clean, brace, and topically medicate my joints, and that’s only one thing I have to do.

We need more affordable medically accessible clothing. If someone knows of a brand that sells that stuff please god reblog this and give me a link.

Um incêndio destruiu a mesa de som da Paróquia Santuário Santa Rita de Cássia, no bairro Hauer, em Curitiba, na manhã desta segunda-feira (8). Ninguém se feriu e o uso de extintores auxiliou para que o fogo não se alastrasse.

O paróquia fica na rua Padre Dehon e possui ampla estrutura. Segundo os bombeiros, os fiéis notaram a fumaça e, logo depois, o fogo. “Foi um princípio de incêndio na mesa de som, que fica no mezanino da paróquia. Não se sabe o que aconteceu, mas o pessoal conseguiu controlar as chamas com os extintores”, detalhou a tenente Zipon do Corpo de Bombeiros.

Mesmo assim, a mesa, o estabilizador e toda a parte elétrica da mesa de som foi destruída pelas chamas. “Comentei até que, caso eles não tivessem agido rápido, poderia ter sido pior, o incêndio poderia ter aumentado, se os extintores não tivessem sido usados”, finalizou.

Não há informações sobre o que pode ter originado as chamas, mas um curto-circuito no local não está descartado.

La última de la serie de @ziponer , les cuento un poco que hace, bueno hacía, en la agencia. Leo es redactor creativo, eso decía en su contrato, el era uno de los encargados de trabajar todas las ideas creativas para las marcas del departamento digital. La mezcla de sus estados de ánimo ayudaba mucho a darle un enfoque mucho menos corporativo a las marcas, su "malandreo" le daba ese toque personal que buscábamos muchas veces. Espero que siga con esas mismas ganas en sus próximos retos. Aunque el seguro dirá cualquier tontería, se que va a extrañar a la cuerda de locos con quienes trabajó por más de un año.
