We hiked Angels Landing and are so glad we did. Kim read reviews of how scary it was when we were here before and we skipped it. I really wanted to do this, but she didn't want me going alone so she joined me. We both think the hike was strenous but the height exposure is not near as bad as some of the online reviews make it out to be. Kim was hesitant but brave and even sat on the ledge more than once. We had pb&j sandwiches sitting near the top with our feet hanging off the side enjoying the view below. It is crowded and you have to allow groups to pass which also allows you to rest. People were very courteous around us but be prepared to get up close and personal, but you don't want to be hesitant and hold up the line. I think that is why everyone says don't do it if you are afraid of heights. . Tips about the new Zion Shuttle Ticket process and hiking any of the trails. 1. Reserve a shuttle ticket in advance or purchase the day prior at 5pm on recreation.gov. 2. Get the earliest shuttle so you get there before the crowds and get a parking spotat the visitor center. If the lot is full you have to pay to park in town, take the town shuttle or walk to the park. 3. Bikes help if you can't get a shuttle ticket. Rent an ebike. 5. About half the shuttle stops are closed. Several hiking trails are closed.
