There’s a maximum of ten poll slots on these so I can’t do all of the Blackspace rooms, even if I separated the Basil ones to their own poll, so here. Scariest Basil room poll. Once again, recounting personal reactions in tags is very appreciated, I love hearing people’s experiences with the game.

I’ll probably make a separate post specifically for Blackspace. Don’t get on me if someone’s already done this poll idea, I haven’t checked the Omori tag since polls got added. This may not reach a very wide audience but alas, I still would like to hear people’s thoughts. Elaborations in the tags much appreciated.

… @entities-of-posts The Dark
youtuber showing off his new redstone megabuild pistons and slime blocks and repeater lines running up and down and all around and he hasnt explained AT ALL what it does but when he powers it on your room starts shaking and the lights start flickering and he looks directly into his crap webcam with jet black eyes and just says 'it is done.' and the video abruptly ends and when you check twitter to see if any of his fans have had the same experience your feed is filled with the news that the pope just turned into a dirt block live on television

1) make terrariums
2) get time lapse cameras
3) print out small images of everyone i know
4) put each one in a terrarium
5) make a time lapse of them being decomposed over the course of a year ish
6) wait for one of the people to wrong me ideally in an extremely minor way
7) send the person a gif of their face breaking down, being eaten by insects, moss etc, with caption 'get entropy'd idiot' in the 2014 meme font
8) block them

You might know Smokey Bear of “Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires” fame, but I want you to meet his lesser-known compatriot, “Give A Hoot Don’t Pollute” Woodsy Owl:

What do you think happened to the people who lived on this third floor of flounder heights that disappeared in between splatoon 1 and 3. Like imagine getting evicted because it was decided the entire floor you live on should be demolished for the sake of the area’s use in competitive paintball

Alright! Extrapolating popularity into estimation of overall scare factor, from the slice of users who saw this poll:
Friends is the scariest. Unsurprising. There’s surely a reason the best was saved for last.
Spiders is the second highest ranking. I get that. Nightmarish atmosphere, foreshadowed by Headspace dialogue, terrifying central premise.
Watermelons and Treehouse are tied. As my favorite of the rooms on multiple ludonarrative levels of measurement, I’m a little surprised Watermelons is second-to-last in the scores. Treehouse isn’t one I have a lot to say about besides it feeling the most like a dream.
I have no big opinions on Raft. But its low placement could be explained by one of my mutuals’ tags: “#raft was just funny as fuck to me for whatever reason”
I’m overall satisfied. No entries got zero votes like in the other poll. Thank you for participating.

Okay! Extrapolating popularity into a rough estimation of overall scare factor, from the slice of users who saw this poll:
The game opens just as chillingly as it does reveal its central plot twist.
Post-game is equal in caliber to the final stretch.
The Deeper Well is only slightly less popular in scare factor than the previous two on the rankings.
There is some miscellaneous moment present in the game that’s just as unsettling as the moment where your house is overflowing with spiders.
Thalassophobia, the Lost Library, and the barn got no votes. While it varies between routes and is a little more on the stressful side than the paranormal dread side, I’m a little surprised Thalassophobia scored so low given the nature of the lake scene between Aubrey and Basil.
Might run more polls like these, not opposed to running this one again if someone insists.
I’ll probably make a separate post specifically for Blackspace. Don’t get on me if someone’s already done this poll idea, I haven’t checked the Omori tag since polls got added.
