we all know that knives is a hypocrite, that he uses the plants for his own benefit the same way some humans do, etc. still, i think it's an interesting detail that in the ark we see that the plants are being kept in what looks like a cage in the floor. it rly shows that for the plants knives has basically made them trade one cage in for another.

and vash is being kept in an almost identical cage so. y'know.
