I'm thinking about doing a YH rewatch in 2021. One episode a week, and hopefully have time to update tidbits and factoids on the wiki as I go so I can finally finish the basic pages/summaries/quotes/etc by the end of next year, which means I'll probably do a rewatch of the HtLJ flashback episodes and the movie between now and the end of 2020. Anybody wanna commit to a full rewatch with me?

Today, July 13, 2015, marks the 4th anniversary since the��Young Hercules Wiki first opened! Progress has been slow but we plod along surely, carving our niche in the vast expanse of cyberspace!

How about the YHWiki's section dedicated to food and recipes inspired by the show?

My favourite fandom wiki quirks:

Wookiepedia’s insistence on describing everything in the past tense because it’s talking about “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away”.

Bulbapedia attempting to adhere to encyclopedic citation standards in spite of the fact that it’s basically a glorified fan-Pokédex.

The Transformers Wiki’s firm commitment to finding something to mock in every article even if it’s really not that funny.

In the Ares on Trial script, Iolaus's line calling for Hercules, then pointing out he can't swim is incorrectly labeled as a Hercules line.

We haven’t had time to go through all the scripts yet - a lot of them were copy and pasted from Whoosh.org and still need to be edited and checked for accuracy - but every mistake you catch is one we can fix ASAP! We’ve corrected that error, and thanks again for making us aware of it!

Hello! Do you know where I could find any Young Hercules merchandise to purchase? Like posters or tshirts or anything? I’ve seen things on the Yhwiki page but am unsure how to purchase them? Thank you!!! And thank you for your wonderful blog!

There's no official merch store anymore - pretty much all the merch I've managed to get my hands on has come from stalking eBay over the decades. The posters and books surface intermittently - the next time I see them, I'll make a note to let you know.

I do have some extra buttons if you're interested? I've gotta find the box I stored them in after my last move, but when I locate them I can DM you?

T-shirts are nearly impossible to find - your best bet is to download your favorite high-res image and print it as an iron-on transfer to your own t-shirt.

When all else fails, don't hesitate to make your own merch! (Or commission artists on Etsy to make custom YH-themed merch for you!) And then send me pics!!!

@confabcon is a wonderful multi-fandom convention (being held virtually this year but usually in Chicago) put on by fans, for fans. Confab server is the online community related to the con, it is a wonderful place. We are currently doing rewatches/watchalongs of some recent marvel movies to catch up for Dr strange 2.

@greenbryn , who I have known online for a good long while and was one of the first people I talked to about Young Hercules when I first got into it, is involved with the con and also runs the @yhwiki . There is also a server, which either they can post a link to or DM me and I will send you an invite. It's mostly a group of us who were at @yhu-academy together, which was a fan site for Young Hercules.

I also am behind @iolausfeminineside which I don't post to all that often tbh. This is a small fandom and unfortunately pretty quiet. But I do love it so.

What order?

Okay friends, what order are we doing these episodes?

It seems either way there will be plot points that happen out of order??

But our options are:

Production order (as listed on wikipedia)

Air date order (again per wikipedia)

Somehow figuring out the chronological order (how?)

If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. The first three episodes are all linked (it's a 3-parter), so we have time.

I haven't actually watched the whole series yet so I don't think I'd be great at figuring out the chronological order but maybe someone has?

Aw, thank you for this lovely ask, @legolaslovely ! My love of YH is as eternal as the moon, waxing and waning in phases but never truly gone, only briefly hidden until it can come back full-force again. 💚
