Redacted ramble number 45 go!!!!!

The potential argument as to why shipping Asher and David is bad could be "yes, Asher and David have shown to be very close in a way regular friendships aren't, literally being "more than a promise " and "two sides of the same coin" and all the other other stuff we've been told, but why can't that be platonic? Why can't we assume that even in a world where they don't already have their own mates that kinda thing couldn't possibly be platonic ? As a society we always assume that if two people that aren't related become closer than your average friendship it automatically means that it has to be romantic, that they then have to start dating, move in together, get married and have children. But Asher and David very well could have all that closeness and still be just best friends."

And to that I would usually say that well, shipping is done for fun. There doesn't have to be rhyme or reason to it. Most people who ship them (at least I think) are able to comprehend the idea that Asher and David could be that close and still consider themselves best friends and not lovers because that is the reality of the series.

But then I thought no- I - uh -NO!!

Because hhejjsjesjsuj EVERY single interaction that implies closeness IS FUCKIN FULL of sextual tension like no joke with the scene in the wedding where David fixes Asher's tie I was actually wondering if they were gonna start making out or somth

I can't fuckin say that their relationship is inherently romantic cuz that would be a lie but LIKE hdkdndmdhjfjj their relationship is so much closer to romance than your average very VERY close friendship

To paint you a picture Milo is also a person that is very very close to David and Asher

Sure, maybe not as much to them as they are to each other, Milo met them later in life, he was never their roommate or David's main support while he was grieving his father's death but they're still very close

Yesterday I read a fic about all three of them as a polycule and it's just felt...wrong

I guess if there are any wolf boys polycule lovers rn I'm sorry but having Milo in there felt wrong in a way I cannot describe

And the imperium AU.....the IMPERIUM AU

The existence of the imperium au inherently implies that if Asher and David didn't meet their mates they would be together romantically. THERE IS A NON CANON YET OFFICIAL AU WHERE THEY WERE LOVERS FOR LIFE SO CLOSE THAT WHEN DAVID DIED NOT ONLY DID IT PERMANENTLY CHANGE ASHER BUT LITERALLY A PART OF HIS MAGIC DIED WITH DAVID.

There is nothing in the story that really needed Asher and David to be mates, so much so that in the original Imperium AU episode Erik had no plans for them to have been lovers until he made the cataclysm sequel it's literally just because Erik wanted to

SO IF the implication is that if they didn't meet their mates they would've have been lovers then you CANNOT judge people for imagining that scenario where it's not in an imperialistic world where one of them ends up dying

Also I can't even say that it's because they didn't meet their mates because although David obviously didn't meet Angel because they were engaged(?) to the king imperial Asher I'm pretty sure meets Baabe around the same time that he meets them in the prime universe so like?????

In conclusion If Erik ships them then you cannot blame me for doing the same thing!!

Sooo... Can we talk about Vox and Alastor Cause I'm literally obsessed...

Basically headcanons since of course I seen the post running around where Viv calls their relationship sad and complicated.

Being an 'angst-girlie' I HAVE to gobble this up so here's a few headcanons I immediately thought about.

Mentions of Valentinos acts against humanity so watch out for that. A bit, like a smidge, of kissing and making out mentioned as well.

For Starters

I happily wrote a fanfic for pics that @milariro drew (lovely artist, check em out!) and I think Valentino definitely plays a big roll in the fallout.

So Vox and Alastor were pals yeah, hung out, chit chatted, ate food together, even got close enough for Alastor to feel comfortable doing more intimate actions like cuddling and hugging and such.

I can't help but think of Vox perhaps being on the Acespectrum himself? He's giving "I will but I don't have to" so I get more demi vibes off of him. He probably doesn't give a fuck about anyone else like he does with Alastor so that's why.

I think he could build intimacy with others yes but he's so focused on his work usually outside of his competition.

Vox probably came to hell and started off really small and little so as he grew, he wanted to grow and took his time to try and get bigger. I would say that Valentino could come in here if not later when Vox seemed to develop feelings for Alastor and in doing so Alastor wants to return those said feelings but he's scared.

Scared of what? The unknown.

He probably is someone who doesn't like when he can't see what's going to occur or happen before it actually does.

He's a runner. Imma say that because I can be one. He cares for Vox but he can't stop the way his heart seems to race when they get just a bit too close...

Valentino probably comes in and ruins everything, most likely at a time when Alastor starts to get some sort of understanding on his own feelings and seeing Vox practically become infatuated with Valentino really leaves a void in his own heart.

Of course he wants to support Vox in his endeavors but... Valentino? Out of all people?

Alastor is most likely disgusted by even the thought of Valentino and seeing Vox so happy and eager with him sets. Him. Off.

A lot of arguments now, harsh words and such and really it's from Vox as he's confused and lost as to Alastor's behavior. He probably picked up on it and asked multiple times just for Alastor to brush him off every time so now that smoke is in the air everything is coming out.

Vox probably would confess he's in love with Alastor in this argument, tears, crying and all and Alastor can't help the way he feels about it

He feels he's at fault, and his airy silence doesn't help with all the anguish in the air already

He's scared. He loves Vox as well but something about the situation makes it hard for Alastor to swallow all the information and this leads to the 7 year disappearance

This mother fucker definitely leaves without saying a single thing to Vox and that hurts Vox more than anything else.

What else can Vox do without a single letter or sign as to where his friend went and of course he's going to know he's the reason to a certain extent

It definitely hurts both of them, like... World shattering.

Vox has no choice but to go to Valentino.

I can't help but analyze how Vox seemed... Happy? That he thought Angeldust quit when Valentino was raging. Vox does not love this man...

He of course knows about the things Valentino does... Or maybe... He doesn't? Like maybe he has an idea but he hates to think about it... He's never around when it actually happens to someone?

Valentino probably...has even done things to Vox himself?

Maaaannn like I said these aren't canon ofc but now I'm just rambling. Vox probably goes through similar ways of abuse from Val but he just puts up with it like everyone else? I can see him being so broken behind closed doors and when he's in front of others he puts on the cocky persona of his. It's something he's picked up from Alastor, smiling was a tactic all on its own.

He's unconscious of it but Vox thinks of Alastor all the time; when he wakes, when he works, etc etc and I think that in very little ways Alastor does the same thing.

Alastor definitely thinks of Vox often but he's so much better at hiding it. These two are so broken when they are alone.

I'm hoping they talk more about these two but OMG imagine so heartfelt ass communication after so maybe years... They definitely need it, to air out everything

And imagine that while they are Vox is speaking and Alastor is adamantly listening as he's always done and before he even knows it he's leaning forward, closer and Vox doesn't necessarily realize it until Alastor is just a breath away.

Tbh Alastor wouldn't even know what he was doing, it's like he's doing it unconsciously...no thoughts in mind and when Vox stops for a moment and just right then everything just seems to make sense? Alastor looks at him as if there's nothing but him and Vox would return the gaze before they closed in with a kiss

It's not just a little kiss either, it's one that starts off soft and gentle and leads into something hotter... Something raunchy as they cling to each other and hold each other.

Someone drew a pick with Vox being pinned against the wall by Alastor while kissing and I'll tag them (HERE) when I find them again but yeah it's like that.

It's like Alastor is letting off steam that's been trapped inside him for all those years even prior to his disappearance and he wants to be careful and gentle but he's... Excited, happy to have Vox in his arms again so he gets rough, biting, nipping, sucking until Vox seems to just completely become goop against him because in reality this is all he's wanted from Alastor... To be close to him, to hug him, to kiss him...

To help him, to protect him, to watch him grow and grow together with him.

Alastor still struggles with admitting it but he's just as happy to be with Vox too. (It's giving soulmates?? Soulmate AU ANYONE??! I'LL WRITE IT? PAY ME AND ILL START IT TODAY???!!! But anyway they are married your honor!

I can see Vox coming to the Hotel after he manages to break free of Valentino. Maybe running off and disappearing on him and pulling an Alastor while Valentino rages at everyone else to find him. Velvet is broken between helping and not.

Vox coming to the hotel would be a shit fest to start off but... He is actually really helpful, and he takes the time to rebuild a connection with Angeldust and Alastor and he seems just so much more... Happy and genuine? And sometimes when Alastor notices he can't help but show a genuine smile as he admires Vox.

They would eventually come together to help publicize the hotel and WOAH are they banging!

The radio demon and TV demon have come together to help some crappy hotel rehabilitate sinners? Holy shit!

They reel people in from all over for various reasons whether it be fangirls shipping them or people actually wanting help and to grow...

They are happy together but...

Valentino and whoever is on his side of things definitely managed to also pick up on the sudden booming aura coming off of that hotel and maybe...maybe they'll pay a visit.

One that reminds Vox of everything that Valentino did to him and OMG imagine Vox having a panic attack or something, running off because he knows it's Val? Leaving Alastor to go hunt for him?

A fight would be interesting.

Some SpeedingBullet headcanons for the soul:

Sniper taught Scout how to slow dance. Scout never really learned how yo slow dance but he learned how to do all the fast swing dances and what not. But slow dancing wasnf his speed. Even if he did like listening to slow songs. He would sing/hum along to them until Sniper was like "??? nah imma teach you because aint no way you dont know how to slow dance"

Scout tried teaching Sniper baseball but despite all his efforts, it ended in failure. Mostly because they had to end their little baseball session short because Scout threw the ball a little too fast and a little too accurate while Sniper wasnt fully paying attention. It resulted in Sniper with a broken nose and black eye. Scout apologized perfusely and hasnt asked Sniper to play baseball with him since (but Snipes would do so in a heartbeat)

Sniper was one of the first people Scout drew on base. He didnt know till months and months later when they became good friends and Scout realized he wasnt going to be made fun of for his sketches. It became one of the many ways Scout would show his friendship and eventual affection.

Scout was insistant on becoming Snipers friend. He would constantly try to talk to him on the occasions Sniper would enter the base and basically hunt him down just tontalk with him. And then it slowly became a nightly thing where after matches Scout would go to Sniper and even try and drag him into the base more often and to go out with the others.

Which leads into, they became great friends and their friendship really became set and stone after Scout went to Sniper one night. He didnt start a conversation, just knocked on the camper door and when Sniper let him in, went straight to the bench in the camper van. Scout seemed out of sorts and not his usual self. There was no talking, no rambling. Just silence. He looked upset and troubled. So Sniper just sat next to him for a bit until Scout leaned against him. Sniper tensed up, not really the most aquainted with touch as a form of affection. But he sticks it out and slowly touches Scouts shoulder which is when he notices Scout crying quietly. And Sniper just stays quiet and lets him cry it out. Scout would eventually tell him what it was about and then eventually when Scout was feeling like that hed go to Sniper. Neither realizing the fact that they were slowly catching feelings.

-Scout probably still feels bad about their wasted effort in practicing baseball but Sniper told him that even if he couldn't play much, he was still willing to listen to Scout talk about it

-YESSSS SNIPER BEING SCOUTS MUSE!! I've said this headcanon in an ask somewhere but I dont remember- But I would like to think that when everyone was still getting to know each other, Sniper wasn't allowed to bring his camper yet and he stayed in the base for a few months, leaving Scout to see him often and drawing him because he was the most still person in the base ever. And Sniper was definitely in awe when he saw some sketches, he didn't even know he would look that good in Scout's eyes

-I absolutely love the headcanon of Scout just suddenly and casually starting to talk to Sniper and becoming friends, like it sounds random but it makes sense!

-Its always the big feely times when they realize "oh shit I love him"

I think I've talked about my version of Necromancy before a few months back, but not in full proper detail. I just gave y'all the sparknotes version of it.

Since Necromancy is being asked, Imma just ramble about Necromancy. You can ask me more about the other magics from the poll in separate asks, since I don't wanna clog this one.

Okay so, Necromancy. It's originally a Blessed Magic from the Death Goddess Blair onto a family in Bellhollow and to a few more from the South Eastern countries of Gaia. It's now become a Learnt Magic in recent centuries, with all the grimoires and codexes about it that were written by said families that are easily accessible in The Chancery.

There are three subtypes of Necromancy: Summoning, Exorcism, and Prophecy. A magus of this magic can have two or all three if they're able to handle its toll.

Summoning

The subset that Necromancy is mostly known for

No, you're not gonna "do bones, motherfucker". You summon either spirits or fiends (demons, mostly) that you made a Pact Bind with

Magi under this subset are usually "cursed" for having so many fiends attached to their soul, though powerful depending on what kind of fiend

Spirits are everywhere, so it is easier to summon them

Can talk to and interact with said spirits once receiving Second Senses

Can evoke madness and dread onto a person by sending a Haunt towards them

Spirits and fiend don't always listen to the command of their summoner. Spirits continue to have a will of their own even when summoned, and fiend see their "summoner" as an equal due to both parties consenting to the Pact Bind.

You can bring back a dead someone to life, by doing this very complicated ritual, but why would you?

Exorcism

We already know what this is

Usually goes hand in hand with Summoner subset, incase their summoned spirit or fiend starts feeling a bit rebellious

Banish any unwanted spirit or entity from a certain area, object, or person with ease in almost an instant

Exorcists with Second Senses can interact with said spirits, though that also means that the spirit can harm them in return

When I mean "entity" I mean every single creature that isn't of Gaia (Angels, Demons, Fae etc,.)

Can work well with Runesmith magic, since this magic also involves some protection charms against spirits

Can you exorcise yourself from a Haunt casted by a different Necromancer? Yeah, you can

Can you banish the soul of a recently revived person back to Purgatory? Yes.

Prophecy

Oracle of Delphi, but it's just the future death of a random person or loved one

It's a dreadful gift, since there isn't anything that can be done about it

The person of this magic slowly grows blind overtime with each prophecy received

Get a badass spooky title of "Seer of Death" and the like

You only go to them if you want to know how much time you have left

Usually the disciples or holy people of the Death Goddess

Common Stuff between them

Visitant's Vision - OG eye color turn to gray eyes upon receiving and practicing; can only see spirits and hidden entities that aren't bound to you. They can see you, just not interact.

Second Senses - Five Senses Deluxe; only those who are Blessed receive this; can fully interact (see, hear, touch etc.,) with spirits and hidden entities, and that means they can do the same to you for better or worse

Gain one or all of these things from witnessing death and dealing with spirits and fiend's for too long: madness, paranoia, panic disorders, PTSD/C-PTSD, phobias towards: crowds, loud noises, people staring, the dark, and aversity to touch. This usually leads to the magus living in isolation far away from a city, or in the care of family.

Whether you like it or not, the Death Goddess is your patron now.

sometimes patrick was right & nathan had to - if reluctantly, agree that his idea had been a good one. they'd worked their asses off the entire last two weeks, with so much paperwork to do for a single case that nathan had almost forgotten to breathe some days.

of course patrick had been by his side through the entire ordeal, which left the selkie shark as exhausted & mentally drained as him. so when he proposed they head for the dry tap for some drinks & stress relief, nathan - of course, had refused, as he did with everything that even just remotely sounded like fun. he ...wasn't the party kind-of-guy anymore, he'd grown up.

but... patrick had brought up quite valid arguments, such as ... it's the wekeend, we don't work tomorrow & then he'd looked at him with that insanely sad, heart-wrenching puppy eyes look he could draw out of a damn hat every time he wanted. nathan wasn't even sure patrick realized when he did it, because if he did.... he'd be way too powerful for this world.

so, he'd agreed & let the other take him out to one of the two bars in town. they'd drank, they'd met some people & conversed, with nathan happily rambling on about work. cases he never quite could forget even after they were closed, those he couldn't help, those who didn't deserve his help & those where the police messed up & endangered the entire trial due to false information.

he couldn't help it, work was all he had in life besides... well, oberyn. the fae tailor he hadn't spoken to since the trenton incident, which - made him ramble some more about work to forget that one fateful day he'd wanted to never ever think about ever again.

unbeknownst do him, patrick hadn't been holding back with the drinks like nathan had, so without further ado & even the hint of a sign... a premonition, or anything that could've possible prepared nathan for impact..... patrick grabbed him by the tie, which the fox pulled loose as he opened a few buttons after the first few shots & while crimson bore into his eyes ...

he smashed their lips together.

this... all of it. they shouldn't. yes, they were engaged... in a way & yes they would marry eventually & yes, he ......hated it, but he liked him, still. but no. he'd sworn to himself not to. he didn't just lose his best friend when patrick abandoned him, he also lost the love of his life like what, two days before the most important day of his lift. he just left.

yet, when arms wrapped around him & the alpha's scent wafted up his nose with how close they were, the man's taste on his lips, in his mouth, because apparently drunk patrick decided tongue was in order... he couldn't fight it. he'd like to blame it on the shots, but he knew he wasn't that drunk yet. yet. one of his own hands came up between them, fingers curling into the alpha's shirt, because he was goddamn putty in his arms & needed at least something solid to ground himself.

Okay soooo I actually first watched like the first ten episodes of Future Diary several years ago (I think in like 2018?) so when I wrote smniyb, their dynamic and characterisation was heavily influenced by that of the two main characters. So obviously Alec is Yuno Gasai (cause Dark Alec supremacy)

And Magnus is Yukiteru (Yuki) Amano

Back then I stopped at the tenth episode cause I couldn’t really understand what was going on 💀 but now when I watched it it was much more clearer and i could understand everything better and didn’t get bored lol. And then I got to the end and these bitches KILLED MEEEE.

Okay, Dark Alec and FD!Malec aside, yeeeeaaaaahhhhh I mostly agree with her. By the end they’d both be arguing about who’s gonna die and at the end one will pull some shit and kill themselves (mostly Magnus) and the other is alive and becomes God (mostly Alec). In FD, Yuki suggests that they both commit suicide and let the world end, but I can’t see either Magnus or Alec suggesting that. They’d both want the other to live on. Yuno however is… complicated but basically by the end she wants Yuki to live on and become God and let her die and that’s pretty much what happens. :’)

So yeah. I basically agree with Dani. He does it like parents do with their pointer fingers. He uses complicated words and texts a whole ass block if asked about smth. But he's calm and friendly so it's okay <3 (lets ignore his non-existant meme knowledge tho. "What does this mean?" "Who is this?" Chongyun not only sends videos, he makes them as well (thanks to Hu Tao and Xingqiu). He is just passionate and wants to educate people :((( He's so excited when people comment on his videos :((( (eventhough it was his friends with secret accounts to encourage him until he got a small following <3). He will get so excited when the player asks him stuff about spirits :)))

The cold air blew the loose hair around her face across her cheeks, the rest wrapped safely in a loose ponytail.

The spring wind felt relaxing, serene and calm, too calm. Too calm for the situation she was in, the silence around her deafening.

It was too quiet, the ringing that was picking up in her ears proof of that. She didn't know if she was even breathing.

Her glistening eyes were fixed on the boy in front of her, the boy she thought she knew all to well. But did she? Because in a matter of seconds he was a stranger.

She didn't know if she heard him right, she didn't know if he even said anything at all. She didn't know anything anymore. But the scoff he let out, breaking the overbearing silence, was answer enough. The answer was yes, she heard him right and yes, he had said something.

Although she wished she didn't and he hadn't.

She knew she should've felt cold in her light, loose, V neck crop t-shirt and high waisted trousers, but weirdly enough the wind kept her cooled off, as if the elements wanted to console her. Comfort her breaking heart, calm her down.

She breathed in slowly through her nose, lips parted, regaining control over he swirling emotions. She wasn't going to cry.

And even if she was hurt, in pain and struggling to breathe in and out properly she tried to comfort herself. She told herself she knew this was coming, she knew this was going to happen, she knew something was off.

She knew Kim Seungmin was just playing with her.

She focused on him again. She cursed at whoever was in charge up there for making him so good-looking, so easy going, so likable, so lovable and so comfortable to be around.

She cursed at herself for knowing what was happening and still losing herself in him. Drowning in the siren that was Kim Seungmin.

"So? Are you just going to stand there?" He taunted snapping her out of her thoughts.

She blinked a couple of times, eyes shifting around herself. They were seemingly stood alone, but she knew better, for she knew whenever she was with him they were never alone. After all, you can't play with someone without proof, right?

The only person she could be mad at was herself. So she smiled, her lips stretched ever so gently, her hands coming in front of her chest to hold onto the strap of her bag, resting against her hip.

Seungmin's eyes looked at her confusedly, she was smiling. Not even 5 minutes ago he had told her she meant nothing to him, that the past eight months meant nothing to him but a measly deal with his friends.

And she was smiling. Why?

"What do you want me to say, Seung?" She looked at him again, her eyes back to how they usually are. Bright, smiling, not glistening. Her smile never faltering.

The brunette, stood a few meters away from her, frowned. This was not the reaction he was looking for nor the one he expected.

He was annoyed, she had to stop acting so nice all the time. She needed to stop acting like a goody two shoes constantly. It was driving him insane, why can't she just get mad and scream?

He had broken her heart, for fuck's sake, give some reaction.

Seungmin looked around himself exasperated, not looking for anything in particular. He frustratingly ran his fingers through his hair, a harsh scoff leaving his lips. Unbelievable.

"Can you drop the act?" He spoke harshly, a strain to his voice. He didn't know why he was getting so worked up. He could've left, really. He had to just break the news to her and he could've left. But he didn't. His meaner side wanted to see her reaction, hoped she had one.

He hoped to see her riled up, angry, even crying. Maybe throwing a fit about how rude and mean and evil he was. He wanted to hear what the previous air headed bitch had yapped at him when he dumped her ass. How she gave her all to him, how he broke her heart, how she would take her revenge on him.

But he was frustrated, so fucking much. Because the girl in front of him did none of that, and to be completely honest, Seungmin felt robbed of his entertainment. So he huffed out a breath again, eyes trained on the girl as she stared at him. Smiling. And it pissed him off so much.

"I don't know what you expect me to do, Seung. There's nothing much I can do about all of this. What we had was fake, I get it, there's nothing I can do to change it. No matter what my reaction is, things won't change," she spoke softly, and Seungmin felt like she was mocking him.

Her smile was mocking him, her understanding eyes were mocking him, her soft voice was mocking him. It seemed like he had just told her about his day and not that he had been faking it all along. He groaned frustrated.

"Oh my God! Fucking do something, I don't know! Why are you just standing there?" He raised his voice a little, he watched as she took a small step back. That was the only movement from her. If he had not paid attention to that he wouldn't have even noticed any change in her.

"You want me to scream at you? Be angry? Cry? Fight?" She spoke, listing all the possibilities, and Seungmin found himself nodding, another groan leaving his lips.

"Yes! Do that, all of that," he desperately exclaimed, before continuing, "but don't just fucking stand there and act all nice and whatnot, stop smiling. The fuck are you smiling about? I just told you I was faking this relationship, I just told you it's over," he angrily spoke, his frustration getting the best of him.

Y/n calmly observed the guy, breathing heavily. She hated to admit that his revelation didn't change her feelings for him. Sure, she wasn't going to beg for his attention and his affection but she wasn't going to lie and say she didn't still love him. After all, Kim Seungmin was the perfect boyfriend throughout the whole ordeal.

His true colors were shown only now. And she understood how little she knew someone she claimed to love. She believed him when he said it was all fake. She didn't question anything. She didn't question all the sweet gestures he had shown, she didn't ask herself if those were fake too. They most certainly were, and she knew it.

She was just too stupid to see it.

"I'm not going to do any of that, Seungmin. Unlike yours, my feelings were real, I'm not going to question your feelings behind how caring you seemed to me, nor am I going to question the motive for what you did and I'm not going to ask what you gained from this either," y/n muttered, her smile gone. And Seungmin thought he was going to get the reaction he wanted, even if just a little bit. But he frowned deeply as he listened to her words.

"Why?" He asked, genuinely curious. Why didn't she want to know? Why was she so calm? Why. Is. She. Not. Reacting? He watched as she blinked at the ground a couple of times.

"I wasn't faking it. I know your feelings weren't real but mine were. I know the person you acted to be was not you, I know nothing was real. But I can't deny my feelings, so I would like to remember you as that person, I'll get over you better if I just pretend that things just didn't work out between us," she nodded as she concluded her words, her eyes looking up at him, the smile back on her lips.

Seungmin stared at her, lips parted, confused. He didn't know what she meant, at all. She wanted to pretend he didn't play with her feelings? Delusional.

"You are delusional," he spat out, lips formed into a snarl. The girl nodded, clicking her tongue.

"Perhaps, I am. That's okay with me," she smiled at him again. She could breathe fine again, the chilly breeze helping her.

He didn't know what he had to do to get a reaction out of her. So he just rambled nonsense.

"Every word I said was a lie, everything I did was planned out, nothing I did was genuine. It was all a game, everything was fake. Every kiss was fake, I never wanted to kiss you. Holding your hand was awful, I lied when I said I loved your hugs. I lied when I said I couldn't sleep without you in my arms. I hated it when you wore my clothes, I acted the whole time. I never wanted you around myself, all of it, every single instance was a lie, fake, awful," he spluttered out, one after another. He didn't know if he meant all of it, at this point he didn't even know what he was saying, he just wanted a reaction. He wanted her to stop being so nice and understanding.

When he looked back at the girl he knew he struck a chord because her smile was gone and a solemn expression graced her features.

He wouldn't say she looked like she was about to cry, no. Her eyes weren't glistening like they did when they watched sad movies. Her lips weren't downturned like they did when they'd have to leave the local pet cafè.

Her brows were pulled in just the slightest, her lips pursed in a small pout and her hands gripped the strap tightly. Disappointed. She was disappointed.

"I see," she nodded, a heavy sigh leaving her lips. Then her smile was back. Seungmin just stared at her.

"Well, I hope you accomplished whatever you were trying to do. I'll leave first," she spoke firmly, although she didn't feel one bit strong. In fact, she knew she was going to cry at some point, it was just a matter of when.

Seungmin watched her with narrowed eyes as she quickly closed the distance between them. His eyes widening in panic when her arms wrapped around his waist and her cheek rested against his shoulder as she pushed up on her feet a bit.

He was frozen in place, his arms on his sides as she hugged him tightly. He looked down at the girl against his chest, her head turned away from him. He couldn't understand.

And as much as he didn't want to believe it, Seungmin knew. He knew he wouldn't understand and he would remain in that state of confusion for a long time. He knew this would bother him every time it came to mind in the future. He knew that the unsettling feeling that grew throughout the whole time would haunt him every night.

When nobody kept him company but himself in his room, lying awake at night. Staring at the ceiling, he knew he would think back at this moment. And he will be confused. But he will not have any answer to why.

Why was she smiling? Why was she not crying? Screaming? Hitting him? Cursing him out? Why was she not asking for answers? Not believing this was happening? Why was she acting so understanding? Was she acting?

He will not know, and it will eat him alive. But for now, he just stared frozen at the girl that had her arms wrapped around him.

She loosened her arms and pulled her head back, looking up at him. A sad smile on her lips as she tried to take his beautiful features in, she looked down at her shoes, arms still loosely hanging around him, not holding as tightly anymore.

They were close. Too close. Close to the point where her forehead brushed against his chin. And Seungmin would've pulled away or pushed her away harshly if it were any other person but not y/n, for he was too busy being taken off guard tonight.

Y/n slowly brought her hands up to her neck, fingers barely touching the thin necklace resting against her collarbones. Seungmin watched her, not moving, as they stood so close. He didn't know why he wasn't pulling away, why he just stood there like a mannequin.

He watched as her fingers fumbled on the back of her neck, working the clasp of the necklace he had gifted her. The necklace that meant so much to him. Now that he thought about it, he didn't know why he had given it to her, but it had felt right when he did.

A light click was heard before she slowly brought the thin chain in front of her and gently took a hold of one of his hands. She turned it palm up and dropped the necklace.

She looked up, their eyes locking, and Seungmin flinched slightly from the abrupt strong gaze. But he stood still as her hands rested on his shoulders and she pushed on her tippy toes, her soft lips coming in contact with his jaw.

"Be happy, okay? Bye, Seungmo," she whispered against the skin, his nickname rolling off of her lips as she pulled away.

His eyes trained on her retreating figure, as she walked away.

She stopped briefly in front of a bench, where a lone figure sat, a newspaper in front of their face.

"You're wearing the hat I gave you, Jisung," she murmured smiling fondly at the boy with the puffed out cheeks as he stared at her from behind the newspaper, eyes wide and big. Y/n pinched his cheek flashing him a smile and before he could say anything, she was already walking down the street again.

Seungmin stared after her. He had broken up with her, told her about his ill intentions. Then why did it feel like he broke up a real relationship?

Jisung looked at his bestfriend, then back at y/n's retreating back, then again at his friend. He knew Seungmin like the back of his hand. And what he saw on his bestfriend's face wasn't the excitement and smirk he'd usually have after breaking the nth heart. Something different was in his eyes. His face morphed in what he could decipher only as confusion. But what has he confused of? Wasn't this the norm for the guy standing in the middle of the street?

"Yah, Kim Seungmin," Jisung called for his friend's attention standing up from the bench he was sitting on. He watched gaping as Seungmin's expression changed in less than a second. His confused stare gone as he rolled his eyes and chuckled darkly, shaking his head.

"Bro, you okay?" Jisung asked hesitantly, Seungmin shot him a confused look before smiling and stretching his arms over his head. A groan leaving his lips as he relieved his aching muscles. Damn this was exhausting.

"Peachy," he said, voice back to his cheery tone. He turned around walking to his car, his friend quickly following behind him.

"Sure?" Jisung asked after the both settled in the car, Seungmin turning on the ignition and pulling out of the parking spot. He chuckled humorously.

"Why wouldn't I be, rat?" He flashed a teasing smile at his bestfriend and that seemed enough to put Jisung's worries at rest. Not before a thought flashed in his mind though. Because for once it seemed like you were caught in the middle.

Y/n on the other hand was seconds away from crumbling, and she hoped that when she did she would be out of Seungmin's eyesight. She turned the corner at the end of the street and that's when she let herself fall to pieces.

She staggered a few steps before pressing her back against the cemented wall, the tears finally rolling down her cheeks as the back of her hand pushed against her lips, in an attempt to not let out any sounds.

She swallowed harshly, throat tightening, as she tried to stop herself from making any noise and not hiccupping.

She felt physical pain she didn't know was possible feeling from a heartbreak. Her chest hurt, the base of her neck feeling like someone had their hands wrapper around her throat and was slowly squeezing.

The muted out sobs that wrecked her body too painful to bear, but even then she forced herself to stand up straight and wipe her tears away.

What was gone, was gone. There was no point in feeling miserable, she could only pretend that the Seungmin she just faced wasn't real. She could pretend that her Seungmin was the ever so caring person she fell in love it.

And she knew she was delusional and she was stupid for thinking that, but if that was the only way she could feel better about herself, then so be it.

She would be delusional.

I have read the yan!Venti discussion and YES I AGREE!! I always did get a bit similar vibes between him and yan!Albedo tbh, at least in the way of heavy emotional manipulation and the use of alcohol/whatever concoctions Albedo creates. I wonder if Albedo would ever help Venti by supplying questionable drugs liquids without Darling's knowledge, like a "I found this new drink, let's try it" but only gives it to Darling type thing... what do you think👀

Rain it is! Nice to officially meet you! :D I’m glad you aren’t bothered by my ramblings. Now it’s time to rant about Venti!

Venti is the picture of innocence when he gives you the strange liquid, which sloshes in a clear glass vial and is colored an off-putting, murky black. It looks and smells horrid, practically like decay and death. You’re not sure where he acquired such a thing, but he’s so excited to have you try it, shoving the glass in your face and begging you to give it a taste.

This charade has become awfully consistent, with him having you try a new drink almost every single day. Whenever you try to decline, he’ll get pouty and whine about how difficult it was to acquire this. At least try it! You won’t know if you like it until you attempt a sip. You end up giving into his pressure because it’s hard to say no to someone so cute and upbeat, especially when it seems like he means well.

Albedo only supplies Venti with these concoctions because he expects to get data out of it. This is an experiment in his eyes and you’re a walking piece of data. So rather than testing the potions on himself, he’s more than willing to let Venti try it out on his darling. Maybe Venti even asks Albedo to find a way to create a love potion or something along those lines. He just wants you to be more comfortable around him. More readily compliant, if you will.

Sometimes the potions don’t have any side effects and sometimes they do. Whenever that happens, Venti’s always there to assist you. At some point, you’ll realize that he never actually tastes any of the potions. You’re not sure how that would affect an Archon such as himself, but it makes you even more suspicious because you’re nowhere near as resilient as he is. And it’s dangerous to drink so many weird substances without knowing their true uses.

In the end, Albedo receives his research results and Venti receives new potions to test out on you! One day Albedo will create one that’s truly perfect and then it’ll be something Venti considers using more often when you’re being a little too difficult/emotional!

Perhaps a plot twist(?): Albedo ends up falling for you after analyzing your body’s reactions to his potions for so long—to the point where he memorized certain stimuli and internal/external reactions. And it’s these new feelings of his that motivate him to improve upon the recipes for his concoctions. He’ll figure out that love potion one of these days... Meanwhile, Venti continues to fool you into tasting shady things.

So when he hands you strange potions, you willingly accept them. There’s just no way you’ll be able to get out of it without tasting it. That’s what it seems like to you. And since you’re such a good test subject, what’s the worst that can happen?

sometimes! I don’t write a lot of smut because I actively dislike writing it, but the smut I do write is super super soft and sappy and full of emotions lol

I respond to almost all of my comments! comments i won’t respond to: negative comments, unsolicited criticism, comments that aren’t relevant to the fic itself, comments simply asking for more 

I love love love responding to comments! I love every single comment that I get and I want to show how much I appreciate getting them, and personally I think responding to comments is the only way to do that! everyone has different comment philosophies, but for me, if someone is taking the time to comment on my fic like I so badly want them to, I think it’s important to respond to show my appreciation!

aha YEAH I DO. this past weekend I actually got a number of shitty comments and had to file two ao3 abuse reports for harrasment (: I love it

I am no stranger to hate comments. I write copious amounts of age difference fic. I write copious amounts of incest. I am not going to apologize nor am I going to feel bad for enjoying either.

ughhh I sure as heck hope not!

Yes! I have a number of them :) I always always do my best to make sure it’s linked to the original fic, AND that I add a tag noting that there’s a translation!

god okay this is such a good question! imma ramble about a few so bear with me here! (i may have 700 posted works but I also have a few hundreds wips & ideas floating around in my gdrive, too)

gone & past - this is a starrish wip i’d started in 2017. I ended up deleting it from ao3 to rewrite it and never got there, but I have about 20k of content! I built my home, inside of you - thorki human au with college jock thor and high school dancer loki. i’ve got a start and nothing else Sheriff Stilinski Gets Some Sweet Sweet Lovin’ - massive wip where... well, the sheriff fucks his way through the entire pack. I want to write it but. trans allison au - this is an au where allison is trans and that changes the entire season 1 canon. it features stallison, petopher, and a looooooong ass outline that will never exist beyond my wips You Fill My Heart (With Such a Gentle Love) - this is a stetopher a/b/o au with pregnant omega stiles and alpha pair petopher falling in love. it started as a labour of love to someone I no longer have in my life. I have about 30k, a full outline, but idk. makes me sad to think about it they slipped briskly into an intimacy from which they never recovered - this is my big x-men first class rewrite that I honestly don’t think i’ll ever finish. I have a few thousand words, a full outline, but no love lost for cherik so. doubtful Physiotherapy (I'll Be Your Baby) - this was a fic I was SO excited about, and then it kinda flopped and stayed a wip because I didn’t have a plan or the motivation to finish it. it’s a winterspider human au with amputee bucky and science twink peter that I adore the premise of but who knows breathing you in chapter 2 - I have a massive second chapter planned for this fic but the first did so good so fast I am way too intimidated to write more in case everyone hates it lmao

ughhhhh I hate answering this because I have, like, seriously bad imposter syndrome around my writing BUT I do think i’m able to weave poignant backstory into narration & i write strong, distinctive narrative voices!

literally I can’t write settings at all. I don’t know how people vividly describe settings but I absolutely cannot do that and it’s one of the reasons I haven’t delved into original fiction. I need to write the town my characters live in?? fuck that imma just use a location we’ve seen on screen & let readers fill in the blanks lmao

I am also shit at long fic. I don’t have the mind for long and interesting plots, and I don’t have the focus to write long fic (which is why every long fic i’ve ever posted has taken me literal years to complete smh).

I like it! both as a reader and as a writer. as a writer, I generally only use a few words, or small sentences that can be understood by context, and I generally don’t

late night insomnia journal #1

Hey, decided to do a journal to help me fight my insomnia. Let you guys take a peek into my life and mind, maybe talk about life and shit. Maybe I might make this a thing, who knows? But anywho...

Just having a lonely late night, in bed, listening to lo-fi in the dark, trying to sleep but I'm wide awake.

Kinda feels like I'm in a different world feeling like this, ya know? Like I'm in one of those pictures of the girl in just a pj shirt and underwear while in my bed in my low-income apartment with the lights of the cyberpunk city poking through the blind-covered window.

Probably doesn't make sense, I know. Just rambling cause I got nothing better to do.

And if you're wondering, yes, I'm on medication for my insomnia. I've even taken one of those Unisom gel capsules (which is basically benadryl), but this is just one of those nights where my medicine doesn't want to make me sleepy.

I've been coming off of Elavil because of all the bad side effects, and so far I'm doing ok. I've been weaning myself off it for about a year anyways, so luckily the withdrawals are almost nonexistent now. My parents had me prescribed that when I was a kid (like 5 years old!) to shut me up at night, and its fucked me up ever since, so I chose to stop taking it (talked with my doc about it, of course).

...you know...this is quite a change of subject, but..I just wish I had more friends to hang out with or do stuff with. I mean, chatting and interacting with my mutuals on here is fun, I love it. But it doesn't beat just having a buddy to just come over and do stuff with, like watch movies, talk about your cool collections, play video games, just hanging out. After high school, your school friends always stray far from you, to the point of never hearing from them. Happened with almost every single one of them for me. If you're lucky, you kept at least 2 or 3 friends and you do stuff. But me? All I can do is sit in my house and talk to them through a screen because they're miles away and I can't even drive because no license or no vehicle. I'm basically trapped in my own house, like a prison.

Some days are fine, but other days, I just want human contact. That's probably why I decided to stick around here.

Sounds creepy coming from a 27 year old woman, talking about wanting to be around people, eh? I dunno, I'm sure someone feels that way.

I am very grateful for my besties @fatgumsupremacy and @omniuravity . You guys are the best and you guys make my days brighter with your posts and our interactions. I have other friends here that I'm grateful for too, but I can't list them all right now. Thank you all of you.

....I really wish my boyfriend stayed longer. He was only able to stay a day and a half. That's really not enough time.. I still remember him telling me that the moment they (he and his mom) left my driveway, their hearts broke. I still remember hugging the blanket my boyfriend kept himself warm with close to me while I cried. ....I wish he was here...I wish he stayed...

Great, now I feel like crying. Not heavily, but enough to let a few tears out. Or maybe it's just me finally getting tired. Imma try to get some sleep now. Wish me luck!

TBH idk if I have time to run a full-on RPG sideblog at the moment--truth be told, it’s enough work keeping this one as active as it is! Haha XD I’ll still give all the snippets of that sweet, sweet Demetri x Hawk content that I possibly can on this blog though :D

BUT I think @sipping--snowflakes​ recently started a Demetri RPG blog and is actually looking for someone to roleplay Elimetri with them :D If any of my watchers are interested, hit them up!!! There is much binary boyfriend roleplay fun to potentially be had!!!

ON TO THE QUESTIONS

My personal headcanon on how Demetri and Eli met is that on the first day of kindergarten, Demetri absolutely would NOT shut up about dinosaurs and Star Wars to their class (I mean, come ON, little Demetri HAD to have had a Dinosaur Phase...I know it deep in my heart to be true). He wandered around to basically every table during Center Time/Arts and Crafts Time/Whatever the fuck they call that “free wandering-about-the-classroom-doing-whatever-activities-you-want time” in elementary school and chatted the ear off of every boy and every group of boys in the class (remember, this is Tiny Demetri, who DEFINITELY would not have the courage to speak to ANY girl XD). And every single boy, every single group, without fail, responds with “Oh my GOD shut UP go AWAY you’re so ANNOYING you weirdo” and poor little excited Demetri is just crushed that no one wants to hear about tyrannosaurus rexes and lightsabers--or worse, tyrannosaurus rexes HOLDING lightsabers and dueling with them. And then, finally, he gets to little Eli, sitting all alone (because no one wants to befriend the kid with the messed up lip), and LO AND BEHOLD! Someone is finally listening to him!!! And seems to actually care about tyrannosaurus rexes with lightsabers!!! Little Demetri is beyond thrilled to have someone to talk to. Little Eli, meanwhile, is also thrilled, because did this kid just talk his ear off about Obi-Wan Kenobi for 20 minutes straight and not mention the lip scar once? Demetri, meanwhile, is so caught up in his rambling that he doesn’t notice the goddamn lip scar is even THERE until they’ve already spent half the day together XD “ANYWAYS I THINK ONCE THE JEDI ORDER COMES BACK AFTER RETURN OF THE JEDI THEY SHOULD RIDE STEGOSAURUSES AND--oh, what happened to your lip?”

As for their first date...had to think for a while about the perfect first date for them would be. I was originally gonna say they’d just go down to Santa Monica Pier or something and just goof off, but I think Demetri would want to make it more special than that. I ended up headcanoning that they’ve always wanted to go to Universal Studios together growing up (mainly because of Harry Potter World, of course!!!), but neither of their families have ever really been able to afford it. BUT when Demetri and Eli finally get together, Demetri is like “fuck it, we’re finally gonna do this” and he saves up basically all the money he’s made at summer jobs and buys tickets for both of them to surprise Eli. Eli is so happy he starts crying, and then he gets angry he’s crying in front of Dem and is like “GOD DAMMIT STOP LOOKING AT ME THIS IS SO EMBARASSING, I’M TOUGH” and Demetri thinks it’s the cutest, funniest thing ever XD Then Demetri drives them both down to Universal and they both just have the best goddamn day of their lives and buy WAY more merchandise from Harry Potter World than is in any way wise XD And becoming “Hawk” has, for better or for worse, laid bare Eli’s inner adrenaline junkie, and he drags poor Demetri on every. Single. Roller coaster. Don’t worry, Eli is more than happy to hold his hand during the scary drops XD But Eli will not rest until they’ve ridden EVERY fast ride in the park and Demetri whines about it but secretly he just likes seeing his boyfriend that shamelessly excited about something! Also Dem takes a million cheesy couple selfies and posts them all over social media bragging about his cute bf, much to Eli’s embarrassment.

“Karate Dads” fksljchcbduswvc I love that this is like...the universal term for Daniel and Johnny now. I honestly could not be happier about it XD Daniel I’m sure would pick up on it first (Johnny, though I love him dearly, is just so very DENSE sometimes), either just kinda by reading the room or hearing about it through Sam (who probably has mixed feelings on it herself). I imagine being as protective of Demetri as he is, Daniel would pull him aside at some point and be like “Demetri wasn’t this guy the reason you pushed yourself to learn self-defense in the first place??? And now you want to DATE him??? Are you sure???” and Demetri of course would be like “Yeah he was in a really dark place then, but I’ve known him basically my whole life and I know he’s got a good heart!” and Daniel would probably be wary about it, but ultimately decide Demetri’s a smart enough guy to handle himself and trust him to make his own judgements. And of course, he’d figure if Sam can vouch for an ex Cobra Kai like Miguel turning over a new leaf and trying to be better, there’s no reason Hawk can’t, too. And seeing how much Eli cares about Demetri and how protective he’s gotten of Dem helps too, and Daniel would probably warm up to Eli eventually. Although, like Sam, I imagine it would take a cool minute. Johnny would probably find out through chatting with Hawk, and Hawk just kinda...accidentally lets it slip he and Demetri are dating, and Johnny just quizzically raises an eyebrow like “Oh?
