"is that..chocolate i smell?" a brunette clad in blue poked his head curiously into the kitchen, sniffing the air as if following his nose in a cartoon.

"yes, you do, but its not for you Jay." you informed, slapping his hand away from the bowl of batter when he tried to reach for it. "I'm making a cake-"

"cake? awesome! whats the special occasion? oh no did i forget someone's birthday??" the lighting ninja cut you off with his rambling, quickly jumping to conclusions faster than you could keep up with.

"-for Cole." you finished with a slight pout, crossing your arms over your apron. now that you said it out loud you felt a little embarrassed about it.

"wait, youre making a cake for cole? i though his birthday wasnt for like, another whole two months-ohhh" the look of embarrassment on your face finally made things click in jay's head. "aawe, youre making cole a cake." he cooed and teaed, lightly and playfully nudging your arm.

"shut up, Jay." you sighed, rolling you eyes at him before turning back to the bowl of chocolate cake batter to finish mixing it. "i want to surprise him so dont go telling him, alright? now if youre going to be in the kitchen im gonna make you help out, otherwise buzz off sparky."

"haha" jay gave a sarcastic laugh at the nickname. "you'd have way better luck at baking with zane than me, and with the mess youre making you probably need him." jay pointed out, gesturing to the mess of flour, egg shells and other ingredients on the counter space.

looking at the mess you groaned. "yeahh, youre right i probably do...you'll find him for me right?" you turned to face jay, puppy dog eyes and batted lashes at the ready.

"ah! not that face!! okay i'll go get him!" jay laughed, never one to say no to a cute face like the pleading puppy dog eyes. "Better clean up before sensei Wu gets back though." he said as he left the kitchen.

You went right back to baking after Jay left, starting to clean up a little bit of the mess and finish up the batter. you still needed to get the icing ready and on top of that you werent even sure in the first place if cole would even like the cake you made let alone if it would turn out okay. you really worried about that and hoped everything would turn out okay in the end, but you couldnt help letting that worry get to you, making you accidentally fumble a bit with the ingredients in your hands and worsening the mess the kitchen already was in.

"careful-" a familiar slight-monotonous voice rang out as a hand caught an egg that just about rolled off the counter and onto the floor, preventing it from platting all over the wood. "-got it."

in your haste to clean up the mess and finish the cake you hadn't notice Zane enter the kitchen. "I see Jay was not joking when he said you needed my assistance." Zane teased, letting out a light hearted chuckle as he placed the egg back into the opened carton with the rest and closed it.

"yeah, im..a mess myself today." you sighed, gesturing to the mess both on yourself and the area around the counterspace you used. "i dont think the cake's going to turn out so good zane"

"i'm sure you've done fine so far (name)." zane assured you. "why dont you finish following the recipe, i'll guide you while cleaning up some of the mess." he offered. "that way, it will still be you making the cake."

"that sounds good to me, you didnt have to take on the task of cleaning though, i could handle that part no problem." you said, feeling a bit guilty about your friend cleaning up your mess.

"nonsense, it is no trouble at all." zane smiled, already getting started on cleaning by grabbing the broom to sweep up the flour on the floor. "we'll be done and have the cake in the oven in no time." he nodded

and like he said, with his assistance on measurements and following the recipe, you felt just a bit less worried and time practically flew by. before you knew it the timer went off just as you two had finished up cleaning the kitchen and the cake was ready to take out of the oven.

"do you think he'll like it...? i mean, cole likes cake, yeah, but im worried he wont like this one..." you confided in your friend about your concerns as you placed the hot cake on the stove to cool before it could be iced.

"what makes you think he will not like it?" zane questioned, wanting to understand your worries better in order to help you however he can. "you followed the recipe quite well, and the cake looks to have turned out just right, do you lack confidence in your ability to decorate the cake with icing?"

"maybe? i dont know zane..." you sighed. "im just worried he wont like it, thats all." you werent sure why, rationally your concern didnt make much sense but you still worried either way. no matter what the reason was there was still a chance and to you that chance was scary.

"I am certain cole will love the cake, you made it after all." zane stated, patting you on the shoulder in attempt to comfort you with a small smile on his face.

before you could even ask the nindroid what he meant by that statement, he had already headed out the kitchen and left you to ice the cake on your own.

You hoped the two, Zane and Jay, wouldnt go spoiling your surprise and telling cole you were making him a cake. You wanted it to be a nice surprise, hopefully one he'd like. Even with Zane's assurance, you couldnt help feeling worried cole wouldnt like the cake in the end.

Soon you had the cake iced and decorated with chocolate and vanilla frosting. It was ready to be served! You just needed to figure out how to surprise Cole with it.

Getting Cole into the room would be the easy part, last you'd seen him he was playing a video game with Kai and Lloyd in the living room, but surprising him with the cake without him already suspecting the surprise is the difficult part.

Poking your head into the living room, you smiled seeing they were still there, and Lloyd was kicking both their butts in the game. "Awe man!" Kai and Cole groaned as Lloyd got the Victory screen.

"Hey Cole?" you called out from the doorway, leaning your shoulder on the door frame.

Cole glanced over at you from the game. "Hey (name), whats up?" he waved a bit, offering you a friendly smile.

"I just wanted to show you something, could you come with me?" you asked, gesturing out into the hallway of the ninja residence with a nod of your head.

"ooooh, (name) wants alone time with cole~" kai joked, nudging cole teasingly earning him a shove from cole and a laugh from Lloyd.

"knock it off kai." cole got up and followed you out. "so what is it you wanna show me?" he asked before you took his hands and placed them over his eyes.

"just follow me, then you'll see." you said, placing a hand under his arm to help lead him through the hallway back to the kitchen.

"do i get to guess what it is?" he chuckled, fully trusting your leadership as he walked blindly with you down the hall.

"nope, no guessing, its a surprise, you cant know till we get there." you insisted, hoping your nervousness didnt show in your voice when you spoke.

once you reached the kitchen you got him to stop so you could stand in front of the cake. thankfully, you got him to not suspect the surprise by keeping him from seeing he was headed to the kitchen. "okay, you can open your eyes now." you said, a nervous smile on your face as he removed his hands.

you stepped aside to reveal the cake. "tada!" you giggled a bit, arms extended out to gesture to the cake. "i...made you a-"

"Cake!!" cole nearly shouted, a huge smile on his face. "a chocolate cake!! you made it? for me?" he asked excitedly, grinning. it made you relieved and happy to see how happy it made him.

"yup" you nodded, smiling back, though you were still nervous about how he'd like it once he ate it.

"thats so awesome of you! can i have a piece now?" he asked, already going for a plate and cutlery. he wasnt going to take a no, he was set on trying the cake right now, not that you'd tell him no anyways.

Cole cut a slice of the cake, sliding it onto the plate he got out then picking up his fork, poking the slice and taking a bite. there was a minute of silence before he took another bite.

"so...what do you think? is it good?" you wondered, hoping his silence what a good sign rather than a bad one.

Cole turned to you, eyes wide and happy. "its so good, please always make cake." he managed to say between bites of cake. he was really enjoying it.

you let out a sigh of relief, so glad he liked your cake after all. "im glad you like it."

"like it?? nuh uh, i love it!!" he insisted. "Its gotta be the best cake ever, i swear." his enthusiasm got a soft giggle out of you. he was so cute, you couldnt help adoring him. "thank you (name)"

This is my screen protector! Also a BIG reason why it’s easier for me to draw digitally because of how FRICKEN awesome it feels to draw on it! Paperlike is kinda balls, sorry y’all :( - P.S. I only got it yesterday to replace my old one.

Also I lied, I do modify the 6B pencil brush(2) a bit! But it depends on the situation (I’ve only turned the pressure size down because I didn’t need my lines to have weight for a bit) Also the Maximum Size is huuuuuuge because it’s a painting brush!

But yeahh, rn it’s kinda just the 6b pencil brush, Inka, soft brush, and that one medium hard brush thing I made by just going to Apple Pencil on a medium hard airbrush and upping the size to max <- This use to be my main brush a long time ago but now I just use it for erasing.

Also also also, I use a drawing glove for smooth, long, continuous lines!

I think by turning the motion filtering expression all the way up it gets rid of that stupid auto stabilizer procreate has??? Idk, I’m not really sure how it works, also I’m completely lost on the App pressure sensitivity, I watched a video on youtube on how to adjust it twice but I still can’t figure it out for sheeit. I kinda got something I liked, but that took experimentating- which didn’t take long! And even tho it’s confusing I didn’t change it too much to, again, find something that works for me.

Remember, it’s not the brushes that make you a good artist, it’s how you use them! Digital art is difficult as hell as is if you’re working on the glass surface itself, so accommodate it to you (if you can’t, no shame if that’s what you got to work with) also ARTISTS WHO RAWDOG THEIR ART ON A PURE GLASS SCREEN SCARE ME/j/silly/lh(👀 Moonie) @paper-starz

but yeahh just a nice day where he gets to see reader adorably freak out ab all the dogs they walk by, n then they go to that one donut shop gojo frequents on the weekends n they share an apple fritter (except gojo takes bigass fuckin bites n reader is like 🙄 bitch u practically ate it all yourself) n then he feels bad so they go back n he gets her another one. and then i can picture him wanting to eat at one of the shoreline restaurants so they have a nice view of the water while the sun is setting outside :))

on the contrary i think reader doesn’t go to the beach very often but after the date she feels like going more :””) and so gojo takes her again maybe during a weekend where he’s surfing n he just forces her to watch him while he fucks up every wave he tries to catch n she’s just chillin on the sand like 😃👍🏼 wow awesome baby!

Shaking with excitement is a perfect way to explain how I feel when seeing stuff about my favorite AUs featuring my favorite blorbos, the absolutely wonderful space AU being one of those☆ I need to find more words like Yippee so I can verbally explain how I'm feeling through asks.

This time I won't be going on about personality because it's ✨Character design appreciation time✨ starting with Dawn because I love the soft colors used in her design and the way her hair looks so flowy, Eclipse's cape also allows that flow which I particularly enjoy and the small accents on the shoes of each character are very cute. The planet-esque designs on Eclipse and Lunar's faces are very cool to draw and I also like the details on the little badges most of the characters have on them; including Beige's and her cutesy hair clip. I've also gotta thank you for putting the bots in belts cause their waists are So Fine. I believe that's all for now.

You actually saw him in the hallways earlier, it was clear that he had just arrived. You hesitated walking up to him though, something just told you not to.

Eventually you made eye contact with him and smiled, giving a small wave. For a moment his eyes softened and you thought you would get your old friend back. But then he rolled his eyes and walked away, leaving you shocked and confused.

Ever since that moment your head had been filled with racing thoughts. Why didn’t he wave back? Did you do something wrong? What was wrong with him? Eventually you just gave up, maybe you could talk to him after the show and possibly get some drinks.

As you walked back stage you breathed a breath of relief. You just finished your first promo back and you were feeling more than confident.

“Hey uce! That was a pretty solid promo out there, you definitely haven’t lost your charm!”

You turned around to see jimmy uso standing in the doorway, reaching out to give you a high five. You smiled and gave him a small high five back, “thanks for coming out to see me, your actually the first”

“For real?”

“Yeah, it’s been pretty quiet”

You chuckled a bit, laughing at the situation at hand. You finished gathering your stuff up and stood up.

“Man, that’s disappointing… but hey! Big uce wants to see you, he said he wanted to talk to you about something.”

You paused.

“Roman?”

“Yeahh, he sent me to come get you”

You almost let yourself smile, happy to see the possibility of Roman coming back to you.

“Awesome, then let’s go!”

“Hey uce, I got her for you”

You walked into Roman’s locker room, intrigued by how big the room was. Roman was sitting in the biggest chair, legs sprawled out and leaned back. Solo stood beside him, arms crossed, Along with Paul on his other side.

“Hello miss y/n, it truly is-“

“I’ve got this wise man, you three get out. I want to talk to her privately.”

Paul just nodded his head, quickly leaving with Jimmy and solo.

“Sit down Y/n, we have a lot to talk about.”

“That we do, how have you been ro?”

You say down in the chair next to him, crossing your legs and smiling.

“As you can see, I’m the most dominant super star here. Something you have the ability to be.”

You bit your lip, preparing yourself to hear the ‘join us’ speech.

“You have the looks, talent and mic work to walk along side us.”

Looks?

You stared at him, confused. What does he mean by looks?

“Walk with us y/n, walk with me.”

���Hold on Ro, what do you mean?”

“I think I made myself clear. What are the confusions?”

“You said I have the looks?”

“Yeah, what about it?”

You both took a second to stare at each other. There was clearly some sort of tension between you both.

“Look, are you in, or not?”

“I don’t know ro, I just got back and-“

“I can get you a spot at wrestlemania.”

“I could get that myself”

“But could you walk away a champion?”

“Ro I just-“

“Who else are you going to align with?”

“Knight offered me a spot-“

“Please, we both know it’s to look at your chest the entire time.”

“Oh please, you just want to take that opportunity as well.”

“What about it?”

That made you stop. You didn’t actually except any of that from Roman at all. Sure you two had some questionable interactions in the past, but no moves were made.

“Let me think about it Ro. Please.”

“You know where to find me Y/n, not much has changed.”

“Yeah. I’ll see you later.”

It had been two weeks since that conversation. You thought about it a lot. You wanted that match so badly, and you wanted that championship even more. You sent him a text.

‘I’m ready to talk’

It didn’t take long at all to respond.

‘Good. Come over to my place, we can talk over some dinner. Be there at 6’

So that’s how you got yourself into the situation. You stood in his living room, a pencil skirt on with a button up white shirt. “Sit down, dinner will be done in a moment”

You simply nodded and did as said. Your stomach was already a mess of nerves, to mess with it more would stop you from getting through the conversation.

“So, what is it?”

“I want to join you guys. But we need to talk about what you said.”

“Go on.”

“What you said about my looks and that stuff. What did you mean ro?”

He chuckled and shook his head, looking you up and down.

“I don’t know what’s so confusing, you’ve always known me to be blunt and honest.”

You scoffed

“That still doesn’t answer my question ro.”

“What’s your question Y/n? My statements were clear.”

You watched as he stood up and walked towards you, putting his arm on the wall beside you and leaning down.

“You’re pretty, but you would look better on my arm.”

You held your breath, holding the eye contact with him and biting your lip. You felt your face heat up as you smelled his musky cologne, you would be lying if you said you hadn’t fantasized about this before.

“Well?”

he pressured again, pushing to know your answer.

“I don’t see why that would be such a problem.”

He smirked and reached up to grab your cheek.

“Perfect, my tribal queen.”

You have no idea how happy this ask made me. It makes me so genuinely happy that you're so excited by Hestia and the idea of working with her. A lot of the sources I have listed are Hellenic Paganism based and not witchcraft based but the info should still be useful. A great way to gain information is to talk to people. I suggest joining a few discord communities, being active in the Hellenic Pagan (or witchy) spaces online and so on. There can be a good amount of misinformation but unfortunately that's kinda part of the process. Trust your gut, always double check stuff and be kind to yourself

" Stupid jerks made us patrol until 11…" Power complains . You hum as you look over at Denji, you can see how tired he is. After all, this thing with the assassination thing is tiring for you all.

Slowly, their voices died down and you drifted off to sleep, even though you were curious to know what Denji said.

The next thing you know when you woke up, is that your head is on Denji's shoulder. He noticed you woke up.

" Doesn't it feel like, it's been a long time ? " You frown, not really understanding what he's saying. Denji peeks at you " How have you been ? " you let out an 'oh' put your head back on his shoulder " I've been fine, and everything's good " he hums " Nice to know…seems like you're doing well. "

You've known Denji before you two became Public Safety Devil Hunters. You had debts to yakuza he was working with, you met and the two of you just clicked together. You were getting along just fine at that time, but with years you've grow up and with your parent's death, you became a Public Safety Devil Hunter to get sweet revenge. You didn't hear anything about Denji since. But somehow, you meet again.

" I miss you… " he continues " It sucks that we can't be in the same division. " you hum in agreement. You wish you could be in the same division with him " But hey, at least I get to see you now ! " you smile softly, even if he can't see it " I'm happy I can see you again. " you say " We should really go out sometime ! " you look up at him, but he was already looking you " We still know each other and i don't stay far away from where you live. "

" Have you gone on any mission before this thing happened ? " you ask out of nowhere " Hm ? ah, I've been going on a few missions. Not that many tho . " you huff " like on 6 or 7, right ? " " Yeahh , I'm kind of okay with it , to be honest… the last couple of fights were wild…" you giggle quietly and close your eyes

" Hey , remember that one fight we had ? " you hum at his question " Are you talking about the fight we had with katana man ? " you look fully at him and, with excitement, he turns and looks at you too " Yeah ! And we let out that awesome combo ! " he talks completely amazed by what have you done by that time " I still bring it up time to time. It was such an accomplishing and satisfying moment ! " he giggles excitedly " And we were able to impress people who don't really get impressed that easily ! " you add with a smile on your face " That makes it even more cooler !! " he giggle again, but then lets out a sigh " I feel like everyone's been so serious recently… I don't know why… " the room fills up with silence " I think it's because of Makima. " Denji throws his head back, leaning on the wall behind you " I've ask multiple people what they think about her, if they think she's a nice person. Anndd, I've gotten mixed results. So I can't really make up my mind off of what other people think about her and to be honest, I don't know much about her myself…" and the room is silent again and he turns his head to you " All I know is that I can't wait 'till this Fiasco is over. "

Denji sighs again " So tell me " you look at him " How are you really doing ? " your face remains stoic but deep down, his question made you feel weird things in your stomach " I remember the last time we spoke to each other, you told me you were feeling alone. I'm not really an expert on emotions or feelings or… how to handle a situation, but the least I could do for you is to listen. " you look down at you feet " I wanted to tell you that day… to keep your head up. " he hugs you close to him by your waist, pulling you closer to him " Besides , you and me, we're always going to be close like this ! " he smiles and you chuckle. Denji knows you so well that you don't even need to say anything. He's just gonna figure out himself that there is something wrong. And to make you feel better he's going to talk with you like this. Balbering about life.

" Before I made it here, and reunited with you, and met everyone else, my life was kinda boring. I would always want to sleep, you know ? Sleeping off the trauma. " he awkwardly laugh " I don't want to sound sentimental but, this place, and everyone here… really means a lot to me. "

" I haven't told anyone this before but, I feel like in the past I used to hate my life. Nothing would ever make sense. I always wondered why am I so alone…is there any reason for why I'm alone, for why I have no one? But then…" you could feel his breath on your neck as he holds you even closer, he was kinda nuzzling om your neck " I met Makima, I met Power, I met other people, and I met you… " your breath hitches and you look at him, speechless yet, happy " And slowly… I started to be thankful for things I never knew I could apreciate. I guess that's the game of life. You don't know what cards life might give you…" Denji now looks at you, holding your shoulders. You were just speechless. You didn't know if that was meant to be a confession, or if he just wanted to make you feel better, but you felt butterflies in your stomach .

" I'm so glad that I never gave up… " he looks at you " And that you haven't either. " he smiles and hugs you tight to him. A hug you return, and hug his waist " We have to be there for each other. " he caresses your hair " There's always going to be some hard days… " he looks down at you " And just because we have people around us, doesn't mean that we still can't feel alone. " He really knows his way with his words " But when I'm with you… I never feel alone, I feel like you understan me the best out of all people " He was making you feel things. You grab his shirt tightly in your fist which, he noticed " Don't you worry. I'm not going anywhere " he now plays with your hair, stroking it " and I'm always going to be here for you, [name]. " you look up at him. Denji softly smiles and with his thumb he started caressing your cheek.

"… I love you "
