It gives so much dept to a character like I have been wanting to explore a side of Kazuha during his time running away from the vision hunt degree before he meets Beidou and his past with his parents. sjahdkjsha (2.8 GAA has hade a huge impact in this). before i head to bed i have one last ramble post to make here we go

so for years ive had this on and off idea of becoming a teacher, specifically an art teacher. ive always loved art Obviously but ive also really always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of art with other people. i think being a teacher fits me to some degree yeah?

the thing is im not sure if its..a good? idea? to step into a new career path at this point of my life. i mean like not bc of age, im only 26 lol, but because ive worked So Hard to be some sort of animation industry professional, for Years, that it feels like almost a waste of time if i just change career paths like that? and i know thats not a very healthy way to think about it but thats where im at

in addition you apparently have to have a bachelor's degree and let me tell you. i do Not want to go to college, especially when im not 100% sold on the idea of being a teacher. if theres some way for me to get a teaching certificate license without having to go through a wholeass four year college course then great i'll consider it but right now this is more of a fleeting dream than anything else u_u

the reason im thinking about all this is b/c like..idk. being a small, small artist online is hard. i enjoy it 90% of the time! i love drawing cartoons for people and making them happy while making money at the same time. its fun. but i make Not A Lot of money, and every single month i get stressed right around this time b/c i usually dont have enough for rent yet. it usually works out, ive only had to have help a couple times (this month will..probably be included in that unfortunately), but overall i enjoy what i do. that being said, i long for a job/career that i can rely on to get me by more smoothly than this, yknow?

i want to buy my wife a bigger space. id love a house one day. id love a car. id love to buy little luxuries from time to time. like i used to buy my favorite db figs every now and then but i havent done that for two years. i rarely buy little treats like that for myself anymore bc 1) we dont have the space and 2) i feel like rent and food are more important and i have to spend my money on important things now. we barely even have enough to go to conventions or take vacations to a beach for two days out of the year. it's rough out here [note: i do not regret moving out when i did btw. i needed to for growth and boy have i grown like its insane, i love the person i am now. im just saying i do struggle a lot still with other things]

anyway yeah. i dont like to think about Giving Up my current aspirations of becoming some popular artist and making a living doing what i do right now (just more comfortably). but im starting to feel like if i want to improve our quality of life im gonna have to do that u_u idk

ever since P5's release I noticed that you've been bitter about the Persona franchise. You find things to hate about something even when its supposed to be a non-issue.

But if you want something positive: I think P3R's Answer might be the improvement we've been needing! :D (I just hate it's DLC (ʘ‿ʘ)). But ignoring the DLC aspect, it looks like they are seeing its original shortcomings and are trying to improve on it. It looks like they're adding more content so it's not as empty too. (now are the character episodes going to be good? No idea. I saw Yukari looking not pissed as fuck cause Aigis is breathing the same air as her so I'm side eyeing it a bit. jaksldfjka But we'll see. On the brightside....at least that stuff is optional, so you can avoid it if you don't like it). Plus I'm getting more Metis (baby girl you're back home! TT0TT I'm so happy!). And the new song "Don't" (?) sounds interesting, I liked the line "Don't you make me do this" cause jaskjfd context of the story.....sounds heartbreaking~! :'D

Ok onto the other stuff:

Tbh I haven't played P3R in so long that I forgot there was an art style change and that I hated it. akslfdjkalfjkaljflaj I'm living in delulu land atm.

(that or I'm letting myself be slowly exposed to it again. Like you would a cat to another cat, by putting food next to a closed door. The food being the FeMC mod fkldjaskfsa half joking. Tbh, just seeing screenshots on twitter is exposure therapy I guess, and I mean the actual game not the mod).

I could take an art style I don't care about if they'd just given me the bare minimum which is......a full P3 game.  (ʘ‿ʘ) No extra content, just.....frakenstein the damn games together, I am asking for the barest of bare minimum. Don't even need two answers, re-record a few lines and change the pronoun to gender neutral, and then replace the P3MC model with the FeMC model during 3D cutscenes, and then just........don't include 2D cutscenes that shows the MaleMC (there you save on 2D cutscene budget too). Only thing you have to worry about is a model swap and some voicelines. I think that's do-able for a big company. (and by model I mean crusty PS2/PSP models, I'm not even asking for them to use P3D/P3R stuff....I legit mean it when I say frakenstein the PS2/PSP vers, bare minimum).

I think I'm more upset with how the 3D environment (and UI) looks than the 2D art if I'm being honest. That I'm having a hard time adapting to tbh.

As for "since P5"....I mean...yeah.... It's hard....to stay fun loving when you hate P5.....and they keep making P5 stuff. TT0TT (RiP to the P4, and possibly P3, haters back during the P4 era. I get it u_u)

It doesn't help that the company has gone full "let's fuck the customers" mode since P4Arena (tho imo P4D is when the signs of it getting REALLY rough started to show). And they've just escalated their shitty DLC practices since. ("EA is worse" damn yeah they suck too, good thing I can hate both practices at once!) "It's Sega's fault not Atlus'!" I don't really care, I can be upset with both. "But Atlus said it's Sega's fault!" oh no the corp is gonna have big dad corp take the moral hit. Whatever shall they do? Nothing they say will look good tbh, they have to accept that. (aka they could be telling the truth, or they could be playing us. I'll only trust them a little if their shotty practices change :/)

I really mean it when I say the DLC practices have been really getting to me.

Which is why I'm taking a break and hunkering down until something interesting (by which I mean: new game/IP announced) happens in the fandom.

When you shared a place with roommates did you felt irritable by the smallest things ever? Like sometimes i feel like the worst because i hate (i dont express it, is just me thinking lol) when my roommates (who is a very close friend btw)' boyfriend comes over asdfghjj it's really irrational because that is her right, it is her house too so she can bring whoever and he only stays like 2 nights in a row so it is not like those horror roommates stories i hear abt. It is just cause i dont like his vibe lmao and when they cook dinner and go out they leave without keeping the kitchen presentable. Which makes me think i would be better of living alone (unfortunately it is not money friendly) instead of dealing with straight people boyfriends coming in and out lol.

yeah it kinda depends on the person like its definitely natural to get a bit annoyed sometimes when ur around someone a lot of the time but i think usually if youre really annoyed over every little thing there has to be some kind of core to it yknow. like this year i had two roommates and one was just always making noise and mess and like having friends over til the wee hours when i had exams the next day etc and i started to just be mad at her entire presence but the other one was just like mostly chill and i wouldnt have the same feeling toward her at all. like idk her n her bf coming over and making a mess of the kitchen and then just going out is honestly really annoying and rude esp if theyre doing it a lot i really cant stand people like that U_U everyone has different stuff but that one for me is like infuriating. for me having someone, whether its the roommate or people they bring over, who make you not feel comfortable & relaxed to just like be yourself in communal areas of the house is the worsttttttttt like, obviously if they have friends over occasionally and you give them space, thats one thing. but if someones like created a situation where you feel awkward just chilling on the sofa, or they bring their bf every few days he makes u uncomfortable so you just stay in your room the whole time, or theyre always having big parties that take over your space etc then that makes me want to get out. i feel like if her bf is over alll the time and it creates an unwelcoming atmosphere for you then its not fair that its as much ur living space as hers and yet ur being sidelined from it. whereas if her bf is over like once a week and theyre respectful and let you comfortably use ur own space then u just have to figure out ways to make it less annoying & be aware u probably dont want to be in that situation in the long run

I have nerevoryn brainworms that torment me day and night, so I answered this ask game under the cut (I did this for myself not for anyone else, pls be nice and ignore it if u don’t like something you see here!)

(A lil clarification: I headcanon Voryn as nonbinary and I use they/them pronouns for them, also they’re ace and afab in my hc, pls look away if that makes u uncomfy) • How did they first meet? They met when Nerevar was hopping from House to House to ask to be supported as Hortator, he just kinda showed up at Voryn's home outta nowhere and was met with 38237 identical serious Dagoth siblings. I can’t think about it without laughing dgsfh

• What was their first impression of each other? Voryn thought Nerevar a fool at first, for coming all the way to Kogoruhn just to ask for political support and to justify /why/ he should be politically supported However, Voryn saw almost instantly that Nerevar was genuine and driven and had strong ambitions for Resdayn, and they ended up agreeing on a lot of things. Meanwhile, Nerevar's first impression of Voryn was...kinda non-existent? He didn't pay much attention to them and didn't differentiate much between Voryn and their siblings. They were all just a bunch of polite goths to him, so he liked them from the beginning 😹

• Did any of their friends or family want them to get together? Voryn's family was neutral and maybe a lil cautious, but ultimately didn't interfere at all and they quickly accepted Nerevar as part of their family Nerevar has no family, though I consider Vivec to be his family in some way. But no, Vivec didn't really want them to get together :') (he didn't like Voryn very much in the beginning, he thought they're boring, too serious, and has no sense of humor LOL but he warms up to them after a while.. he won’t stop messing with them tho, bc they’re rly easy to tease and that’s fun) • Who felt romantic feelings first? Voryn did. Nerevar's feelings only started ages later, he's not really the type to sit down and analyze/reflect on his feelings, so he didn't realize he had romantic feelings until they hit him full force LOL • Did either of them try to resist their feelings? Voryn tried, but gave up and opted for hiding their feelings instead of suppressing them 😔 • If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think? They would believe it. Nerevar wouldn't immediately assume it means "romantic soulmate" though, he already sees Voryn as a very close friend so the news that they're soulmates makes perfect sense to him. On the other hand, Voryn wouldn't be surprised to find out they're soulmates, but they'd feel like it's a cruel thing to do to them both, since they can't be together openly and in the way that they want to be. It would be heartbreaking to them :’/ • What would their lives be like if they had never met? Voryn's life would've remained quiet and uneventful, most likely. And they wouldn’t have ended up the way they did in canon.  Nerevar is an unpredictable mystery though so I have no idea, maybe he'd go down a different path and take some impulsive bad decisions in his life 🤔 oh wait he already does that nvm • Who initiated the relationship, and how did it go? Nerevar initiated it. Voryn has had feelings for him for a very long time, but at first they didn't want to be in a relationship with Nerevar due to how complicated it would be, but yeah...they couldn't ignore their heart's call, and definitely couldn't refuse Nerevar when he started returning the feelings :') • Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like? YEAH!! I have no idea though! It would've been secret but very nice and romantic :'D • What was their first kiss like? It was intimate, and heavy. It was packed full of years of suppressed feelings and wishes. Voryn may have teared up a bit lmao • Were they each other’s first anything (kiss, relationship, etc.)? Nerevar has already had relationships (though nothing long-term) and has had...experience with ppl, in all meanings Nerevar WAS Voryn's first everything though! Mainly because Voryn has never had much interest in ppl before, and just the thought of kissing grosses them out, unless it’s with the right person ofc uwu • What’s their height difference? Age difference? Nerevar is 6'1 and Voryn is 5′6-5'7, they're the same age though! • What’s their relationship with each other’s families? Nerevar likes the dagoths. They don’t pry into his business (ahem, affair*) with Voryn and they always welcome him to Kogoruhn with no problem (aka they tolerate his out-of-nowhere appearances and occassional odd behavior). Nerevar does, Voryn is really awkward at socializing and hates doing it too 😹 • Who gets jealous easier? They both do, but their jealousy manifests in different ways. Nerevar prefers verbal affection from Voryn, because he knows Voryn’s words are always truthful. It’s the same ritual that Voryn’s mother did to their father, and they learned it from her before she disappeared/passed • What’s the wedding like? Who attends? It's a secret one, so no one attends it besides the two. It's not a wedding though, it's more like a romantic ritual conducted by Voryn themself, where they link their souls/hearts together :') it happens at nighttime in a secluded place, probably a cave with an open sky... somewhere in nature far away from any civilization • How many kids do they have, if any? Homestuck 2 has updated! Christmas is ruined!

Previously, on Homestuck 2: Literally nothing happened, and a non-trivial portion of the patreon supporters gave up and quit. Can this update pull a Christmas miracle and right the sinking ship of Homestuck 2? Probably not, but let’s find out! 

We’re back in Candyland, having completely skipped over Karkat and John talking about Dave’s apparent death, because this comic is only interested in long conversations when they’re boring and not about anything at all. That’s alright, I got the gist of it.

When Karkat is finally gone, John still doesn’t move. It isn’t as though he has nowhere else to go, since there are quite a few places he might attempt to make himself useful, for better or for worse.

So, it appears to be morning now, meaning that John’s son has been missing in a war zone for almost 24 hours and I guess John literally forgot Harry existed?

Prediction: This conversation is going to end in some variant of “Where is our son?” “Oh shit!”

Oh hey, it was a fakeout. Good job, Homestuck 2. You successfully implied something just through the art. Art which, by the way, looks a lot better than the last chapter. There are backgrounds and everything. I wonder if Chapter 15 was rushed out due to Hiveswap and that’s why it was so weak?

He’s almost embarrassed by how relieved he feels. So what if his ex wife wanted to hook up? Shouldn’t that be a situation he could navigate? Don’t people like to find solace in human physical connection during dire times? Why did the idea of it make his mind white out in panic more than, say, any number of the traumas he just experienced?

Oh thing HS2 has not been great at is that it has a lot of plot mysteries that are supposed to keep us enticed but they don’t really get implanted into the audience’s head (Remember Vrissy mysteriously collapsing that one time? Probably not, she did it off screen and the boys kind of laughed it off). This one’s hard to miss.

Okay, so we are now being explicitly told that living in the black hole is fucking with the characters and is part of the reason they make such baffling decisions, like Rose not telling Kanaya about Yiffy, or naming her daughter “Yiffy” in the first place.

CALLIOPE: yes, the plot point is a key part of oUr plan

CALLIOPE: as far as we have been able to sUrmise, the only remaining method for escaping oUr grim confinement depends on leveraging the UniqUe properties of this location to create an event of sUch catalcysmic proportions that it simply cannot be contained within the black hole any more.

CALLIOPE: something SO dramatic, so hyper-relevant, that it becomes ontologically impossible for anyone to ignore it.

CALLIOPE: for that, we need an individUal of sUfficient narrative cloUt, so to speak.

CALLIOPE: and to liberate her, who better than the embodiment of the aspect of freedom itself?

So, the plan is literally for Vriska to be such a Huge 8itch that the black hole itself gets sick of her and yeets Earth C out of its own event horizon to freedom.

This is actually a great plan. 

And that’s Hamsteak. This definitely feels like a bit of a reaction to complaints about HS2, but hey, I dig it, I guess? Definite improvement over the last chapter.

danny phantom season 2, ep 12-16 thoughts! these episodes, in comparison to the first 10 or so, felt way more laid back and low-stakes, which I appreciate sometimes. I didn't appreciate how lazy jack's halfa design was in masters of time, it made me so annoyed I redesigned it. 👎🏻 u_u

-clockwork is back!!! and making danny learn lessons The Hard Way. Uhhh, okay. I kind of get Danny’s logic, that time traveling this far back would prevent vlad from becoming a halfa also, ergo no arch nemesis or ectoacne to worry about. But the fact that was basically the first solution Danny came up with to solve this problem is actually so funny. It’s so extreme

Tho we don’t know what year of college they’re in so they could mean they met as freshmen and a few years have past…speaking of maddie shes crushing the 80s look.

-vlad blames jack, but. maybe dont stick your face 2 inches from the portal??! THIS FEELS LIKE LAB SAFETY BASICS. IF SOMETHING HAS POTENTIAL TO BE DANGEROUS, DONT GET NEAR IT. I love this shot so much that wasted 5 whole minutes replaying it and gushing over it.

It is not beneath me to pause and hold back tears because of the beauty of Bai Yu’s face.

I cannot tell you just how tense I was the first time I watched this. I absoulutely cannot handle scenarios like this. But now I’m just excited. This was one of the few highlights of this episode. xD

Round 1: Shen Wei VS Zhu Hong

I’ve watched this scene a few times and I was always a little confused about Zhu Hong tapping her pen on the table like that.

Since there was no effect on Shen Wei, I’d thought maybe it was just to create emphasis on her point.

And hence I was so confused about Shen Wei’s “not fully evolved” comment. How’d he know? Why is this relevant? Etc etc.

I was just dumb and didn’t realize that Zhu Hong had attempted to hypnotize Shen Wei and failed. Got it now. xD

But Shen Wei knowing all about the Yashou Tribes: ?????

Aren’t Dixingren and Yashou meant to be like stuff of myths and legends? Isn’t most people’s reaction to stories about them something along the lines of “that’s make-belief”?

So how come it’s not suspicious for this human, Professor Shen, to not only know of their existence but also be so knowledgeable about them? And I get this even, but why is it not seen as strange that this man knows but does not spread the word in any way? A normal human would have his life set if he “discovered” something like this.

And for a normal human to know this much, there must have been “evidence” to prove existence of Dixingren and Yashou. But instead this “human” teaches bio-engineering and researches the “possibility” of the existence of Dixingren. What even?

And yeah, Shen Wei is a 10k+ years old Dixingren, he is Hei Pao Shi, that’s why he doesn’t do what some human in his place would do. But the SID doesn’t know that.

It’s clear as day on Haixing that Chu Shuzhi is talking about Hei Pao Shi.

But Shen Wei? When he responds he either means himself to push his point that he’s not the criminal or he’s referring to Zhao Yunlan because that’s how he sees Kunlun even though he knows that that’s not who Chu Shuzhi’s talking about.

The reason the first option is an actual possibility and not an OOC theory is because Chu Shuzhi is saying that Shen Wei is less than Hei Pao Shi’s toes (first off all, has Chu Shuzhi even seen Hei Pao Shi’s toes? How’d he know? jk lmao xD), so Shen Wei saying this person must be a righteous hero is him saying 1) “Someone you (Chu Shuzhi) look upto will be nothing less.” and 2) “I am being truthful and am on the side of justice, a tiny fraction of what that person is.”

The latter is most definitely the case though. Kind of like “That’s Kunlun. Kunlun who is undeniably sitting right there and is not just a dream, a figment of my imagination or a distant memory I’m holding onto for dear life.”

These are the moments that show that even though Shen Wei is reluctant when it comes to politics, diplomacy and just handling people in general, he is very capable of it. It not coming to him naturally doesn’t mean he won’t excel at it should he put in the effort.

And boiiii does he excel---- I need some water.

Round 3: Shen Wei VS Zhao Yunlan

Shen Wei’s “Shen Wei” face is back! He looks like a very sad puppy.

I legit couldn’t get over the fact that Shen Wei could be this careless when I watched it the first time. This is so dumb, right?

But with added context of the past, this makes sense.

In that moment, Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan were working together just as they had during Ye Olde Haixing Era, and Zhao Yunlan was concerned for him the way Kunlun would be.

In that moment, to Shen Wei, they are Kunlun and Xiao Wei. And Xiao Wei has no secrets from Kunlun.

It’s not that Shen Wei’s careless and thought Zhao Yunlan wouldn’t notice or question it. He just completely forgot to be wary of Zhao Yunlan, who is not yet Kunlun, because of the familiarity of the situation. The last 10k years have disappeared for Shen Wei in that moment.

Dude heard none of what Zhao Yunlan said to him.

Regardless of everything,Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are so in sync, it’s beautiful.

I will cry over this. You can pry this ship from my cold, dead hands.

I hate this case btw. It was a colossal disappointment.

2. What character(s) do you find the most difficult to write for? Why? 

Characters that don’t get much of a reaction from me from the beginning or at any point, and characters I have never considered writing before (like Bruno). Never feel like I’d write them so I never put thought in their character and stories. 

3. Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written from [Fanfic Name] story/chapter? 

Yeah, from Two Fingers Crossed Over Your Lips, Chapter 8: Domestics (Orinthoptershipping). It’s when Crow is laying on top of Bruno on the couch, and they share a kiss. Crow is flirty, and Bruno is cute. I think this is the best example of my portrayal of Crow, lol. 

4. Did you have any ideas that didn’t make the final cut of [Fanfic Name]? 

No, for the most part, I end up using pretty much everything I write out. I’m the kind of person to go back and cut out entire scenes because I tend to write out scenes I like/want to do and find ways to connect them together. It can be kind of counterproductive because some scenes might actually pull you away from the plot you wanted, but I never never plot before I write, lol. 

It doesn’t mean, however, that that I have never ended up writing something bigger than I expected. Currently, it’s The Supreme King’s Husband (Prologue) because I just wanted to add in Yūsei and Kizuna, omgs. QWQ

5. Do you listen to music when writing? 

Yes, I do. It both keeps me focused and distracted at the same time. 

6. If you listen to music when writing, what [do] you listening to when writing [Fanfic Name]? 

A lot of Joji, Jack Strauder, Oliver Tree, CUCO, and the like. Pretty much this mix. 

7. What story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of? 

I really love my headcanon of Crow being masculine leaning genderfluid afab (assigned female at birth). It’s really fun exploring this headcanon, and I always write Crow with this in mind. However, it’s only 5D’s Crow, not Arc-V Crow. They are both Crow but, in a lot of ways, are essentially two different characters, and I’m very attached to the former. Crow didn’t start doing he/him stuff until he was, like, nine, and Yūsei and Jack have been super supportive about it since the beginning. Crow was she one day, and he the next day. Still Crow. ^^ This is from one of my many Crow WIPs:

One-shots by a long shot, lmao. That being said, I sometimes don’t finish one-shots either. 

9. If you had to assign a theme song to [Fanfic Name], which would you assign?

I don’t think in music. I do that thing where you pick a song and write a fic with it but not the other way around.   

10. What is the line you’re proudest of from [Fanfic Name]? 

One of my favorites, from the aforementioned Chapter 8: Domestics (Ornitoptershipping):

Closing his eyes, Bruno was taken back to the beach, the one he woke up at with no memories, but this time, he didn't feel the confusion, nor the faint touch of grief at the bottom of his heart. Instead, he only felt the quiet crash of the waves on his skin, the sun shining brightly over his head. This was now a memory he remembered twice.

(I really like this one-shot a lot, lol.)

11. How would you describe your style? (Character/emotion/action-driven, etc) 

A lot of dialogue, stream of conscious narrative. I think. I never really thought about it.

I don’t really have one at the moment. I don’t read a lot, lol.

I got more serious about it in high school, but I think I started during middle school? KHR was a thing then, lol.

From YGO, probably The Distance of Time which features Orinthoptershipping. It’s very dialogue heavy, but it was a lot of fun. I’m very thankful of the people who took the time to read it, and even more those who commented and gave feedback. 

16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for? 

I don’t do gore, violence, or torture. I don’t dislike them, I just don’t write them (so I don’t have any practice either). 

17. What fanfic tropes do you gravitate to writing for? 

I love ones that explore the idea of soulmates. I’m a big fan of the soulmates AU, but I love the different ways that people just complete each other that borders on more realism than trope. I mostly write fluff though, and attempts at humor because I think I’m funny. 

18. Do you prefer editing as you write, or waiting until it’s finished? 

I edit as a I write, which is bad because I don’t edit afterwards and miss typos (lol) and sometimes makes writing take longer to finish. 

19. What words do you think you tend to use the most? 

Epithets probably; otherwise, I don’t know. 

20. What feedback makes you the happiest to hear? 

I love comments that think my pacing is good and my character interpretations are great. If someone tells me that they can imagine this happening in canon, I’m over the moon. 

21. Is there an idea you’ve always wanted to write, but haven’t yet? 

Yes, and they’re all WIPs. 

22. Do you enjoy making OCs for your fanfics, or prefer sticking to canon characters? 

I mostly stick to canon characters and don’t like doing OCs (unless they’re extras or side characters). Writing OCs makes me a little uncomfortable actually because I fear veering into self-inserts which I cannot write because that’s even worse than doing OCs. The only OCs I like do are OC babies of my favorite ships. 

For YGO, I currently have two: Sky Hogan, the daughter of Crow (Papa), Jack (Father), and Yūsei (Dad); and Mira Princeton, the daughter of Chazz (Mama) and Jaden (Dad).

23. How much do you stick to canon? 

I try to write characters based off of canon as much as possible. If I don’t see a character doing something, then I don’t write them doing that thing. I’m more about filling in blank spaces than trying to rewrite inked ones. 

24. Do you prefer AUs with the characters, or sticking to the original universe? 

I do original universe most of the time. 

25. What scene in [Fanfic Name] took the longest to write? What was difficult about it? 

Smut scenes because they are pretty much one continuous scene, lololol. There’s no scene changes for the most part, so keeping up momentum is a must and a difficulty. 

26. Are titles for your stories easy to come up with? 

I suck at making titles. I can have whole fics done but back petal so hard because I forgot to give it title. 

27. What time of day do you prefer to write? 

Past bedtime.

Writing it. I don’t brainstorm or outline, I just write what comes to mind. I brainstorm only if I need to connect things together. Finishing it is a close second.

I never write down my ideas; it’s either I start on a WIP or I don’t. What I decide to write depends on my mood.

I write for three hours and produce only a thousand words, smh. Agony.

Fluff with subtle angst, I guess.

Honestly, for YGO, any of them. The feedback for YGO isn’t a lot, lol, or it’s because I write characters/ships/tropes a lot of people don’t go for? I’m just glad I now know the people who like my stuff. I know my writing is good, but I won’t force people to read it.

Characterization, if I’m not being too big-headed, lol.

    December 9th. I can’t be certain if Kero just randomly claimed that day to be his birthday or if he was really born on that day. He was really excited to casually slip that by on Natsumi’s birthday (which the two of them share the same month)

002. Do they do anything to celebrate their birthday?

    He’s really bad with this but he’ll remind everyone every day that it’s coming up soon. He’s even shown to slip things here and there about what he wants to eat or even get as a gift. He’s also shown to keep repeating “1. 2. 9.” a lot without actually saying that’s his birthday. He REALLY pounds it into your skull that it’s coming.     Party wise? Nothing spectacular, he just wants cake, food and gifts along with his friends and family.

    Tea, specifically milk tea. He’s really crazy about how you’re supposed to make it too. He’s not afraid to argue with you rather if the milk goes in first or if the tea does.      He does drink coffee though, he doesn’t mind it but always goes for tea before coffee.

004. Do they prefer being alone or with others?

    With others. He’s a social butterfly and loves having the attention on himself. Being around other people gives him comfort (and when he truly knows he’s alone, he starts to get terrified of the dark. The unknown scares him when he knows he doesn’t have anyone to run to). Needless to say, he’s fine with spending alone time, it’s hard to build Gunpla with so many distractions! 

005. Are they in good health?

    Decent enough, I suppose? He’s very lazy and will eat a lot of junk food if the opportunity presents itself. He and Mois even sang about how horrible his lifestyle is since he’s been to Pekopon too LOL. Despite this, Kero is fit. He’s shown to be pretty athletic and can even do backflips out of the way of Tama’s Impact shots. Also even with his tiny legs, he can run pretty fast. He might not always pull his own weight but he can when he truly feels like it. He’s the leader after all.

    This one is tough since he pretty much uses all of them on a daily bases? If anything, it would be his ability to talk. As a leader, it’s important to speak your mind and it’s especially important so he can perform his Resonance with his Platoon.

007. Is your character an optimist or a pessimist?

    It depends on the circumstances. The frog is very dramatic and will quickly think of the worst scenarios given the situation. He can quickly switch between an optimist and a pessimist. He usually thinks about the best scenarios first and depending on the results he might go into an endless loop of finding how shit can hit the fan even more.

008. What is their favorite fairy tale?

    You’ve caught me on another tough one u_u He’s actually astonishingly good at making up his own fairy tales believe it or not, but I don’t think he has a favorite. Usually when he reads them, its inspiration to create a plan to Invade Pekopon ( or get Natsumi off his ass about cleaning the house ).     I don’t think he’s read it yet, but I think he’d take a fancy to Princess and The Frog.

    He does! He often thinks about how he’ll live a happy life with the Hinatas and his platoon. It hurts to think that he’d ever revert back to living life without any of them. It’s also the reason why he slacks off about his mission on Pekopon in the first place ; he doesn’t want this good life to end.

that was definitely a special and important episode, and i appreciated seeing this side of john, this is gonna make it way easier to write fanfic of him without the story ending up as a trauma survival fic

but

i was kind of underwhelmed

things i rEALLY REALLY WANTED that didn’t happen:

john actually reacting to dean saying they made friends with an angel (and a werewolf, a vampire, demons, etc etc)

john meeting cas

cas being part of that family meal (i get that the point was he was 2003!cas and not there, but still)

jack being in this even a little bit??

and as the story went on and reached the end, what it really lacked, for me, was a comparison where we can then see how john/mary & max/her crush = dean/cas...........and that just didn’t happen

i think it just ended too soon, really

and there was a lot more they could’ve done with the altered timeline, could’ve brought a whooooooooole lot back from past seasons and just made it a smorgasbord of nostalgia

i get that it was focused solely on john, which gave it an emotional core, so there’s not actually a problem there, i loved that

but it felt kind of dull and slow and....... soupy..........?

(i just mean. the emotional feeling in my brain as i think about it. feels like soup. specifically pumpkin soup. warm and spicy and goopy and nutritious but ultimately not very filling)

then again, if the pacing had been sped up, i would’ve complained it was too rushed. so there’s no winning, it was probably fine ?

i think my favourite part was the kids. i loved the kids. i love the lil gay romance going there. i loved the fact it was a destiel/team free will parallel (even if that part of it was OVER SO DAMN QUICKLY MOST PEOPLE MISSED IT). i loved the kid in the hat, he reminded me a lot of the actor thomas brodie-sangster, and also johnathan byers from “stranger things”

also enjoyed sam vs. the serial killer clown, and that whole aspect of hunting that we haven’t seen in a while, felt very nostalgic

also enjoyed 2003!cas, but was both distressed and frustrated by him fighting dean and then NOT GETTING ANY CLOSURE ON THAT WHATSOEVER. the point was to make dean and sam realise they really needed to send john back, so essentially, in some respect, they did choose cas being their friend over john being around, but that part of the overall problem was never mentioned at all, cas wasn’t mentioned at all after the fight

i’m just looking forward to coda fics that start where this episode leaves off, and dean talks to cas, because i am craving that SO FUCKING BADLY i can’t even express. like. it’s becoming maddening. i just. want. them. to have. a conversation

and the black guy dying at the start?? and the other black kid running away from the ghost and never being seen again? and besides the unnamed diner guy offering info on skip day, being the ONLY PEOPLE OF COLOUR IN THE ENTIRE STORY??? NOT COOL, not a fan >:{ (still better than it used to be, but soooooooooo many white people. so many. so. many)

anyway. um

so that wasn’t my favourite episode, but not because it was bad, but because it didn’t live up to expectations. i tried not to have any expectations (i really tried) but there were just... basic things this episode needed that i felt it was lacking (*cough* cas *cough*), and i can’t really shake that feeling

HOWEVER, having seen 2003!cas be the thoughtless drone that he was, i can appreciate just HOW MUCH character development has happened while he’s been around, which.... i suppose, is a sort of nod to his entire existence ???

anyway, 9/10, and a big ol shrug

but yeah. seeing john be kind and understanding was amazing (and completely changes how i’m gonna write him in my fics in the future, since he’s probably gonna be in the fic instead of just mentioned) and having him say he’s proud of dean and he loves him was just a super nice treat c:

Dedicate your heart (and wallet ;w;): my (SNK) trip in Tokyo

OK folks ♥ ! Finally I have time to write a short summary about my travel in Tokyo ... or better, about the fandom part. My dear @judarchan and I decided to travel there around the end of July because some of our favourite anime were airing around this time of the year (YOI, SNK, Free!, K, etc ..). Tbh we were kinda suprised to find few stuff about some of them.

My personal hunt regarded especially YOI and SNK (and K and other anime too). Well tbh about Yoi there wasn’t so much stuff around, except doujinshi! Oh there were LOT OF THEM! HOW MANY VICTUURI DOUJINSHI çOç! There was half floor of Akihabara’s Tora no Ana only for them!! Otherwise ... yes something but I was expecting more. And even less, since my hunt was basically only about Victor, and his stuff was the most sold and the rarest (and so more expansive yay ... ) (Instead there were lot of Yuuri and many stuff about Yurio too ...) . So I wasn’t able to buy what I really wanted or needed the most *sigh* (but still I bought some cute Victor’s pins and acrilyc figures uwu”)

I was more lucky (well not my wallet XD) about SNK! There was LOT and LOT of stuff about SNK around! Every shop in Akihabara or Ikebukuro had so many SNK related things ... TONS of them (my poor wallet again ç_ç). And of course the characters with more merchandising were Eren (my precious bae ♥) and Levi. And Ereri/Riren the ship with more stuff and doujnshi. how.many.doujinshi ç_ç !! Whole walls filled with doujinshi about them ... çwç  And they were often put on the spotlight among the general fandom most sold doujinshi too ;w; *proud*. So yeah I can confirm that Ereri/Riren is incredibly strong in Japan ♥ (my dear @judarchan can confirm the amout of time I took to check carefully how many Ereri/Riren doujinshi there were in every single store we visited xD It was like a social study u_u” )

There were SNK advertisments into the metro and in Akihabara too ♥ (my son being strong and beautiful ♥ ... it was a really really big ad on Radio Kaikan in Akihabara *_* )

Sadly I couldn’t buy all what I wanted because I didn’t have space in my suitbags anymore and ... no money anymore too aehm ^^”““ ... I tried to buy every item “matched”: so one item of Eren and its matching Levi item. And, sadly, I have noticed how they are really milking Levi’s character a lot: Eren and Levi gadgets were generally the most expensive among SNK charas (yay ..... so lucky ^^”), but Levi’s were the most expensive of all and the rarest ones... *sigh*. Basically I spent lot of money for keeping my boys together ok *sob*  .. dedicate your heart indeed (and wallet ... TwT” ) ;w; ♥. One of the very few thing I haven’t bought “matched” was the body pillow ... I found them the last day of my trip and I had money only for one ç_ç” and ... Eren is my bae and my son and he will always get the first place ♥ (also the pillow was, imo, better drawn than Levi’s). (But as soon as I can, I will get even Levi and the other things I couldn’t buy like the two Figma *sigh sob snif*)

Reading other users’ experiences, we were expecting lot of people tbh. But, maybe because it was hot as hell *dies* or maybe because the event was ending? idk but it was kinda calm. It was really nice *_* :

I got my least fav chara twice DX so I started to jump to literally every other table around me for asking people to exchange their cards/stickers with mine. I was enough lucky to get rid of of said chara quickly for other two random chara (and they sold me a Eren keychain because “they didn’t want him” wooo wooo rude how can you be so ungrateful with my son è.è” so I rescued him as fast as light u_u they don’t deserve you my sweet sunshine ;w; ♥ ). And another very kind guy exchanged his Levi for my Mikasa yay! ♥ wherever you are now, kind guy, thank you ♥ Hope you will have a very nice life ♥ *blows a kiss* ♥

Also I bought lot of stuff x_x (so much Eren and Levi merchandising *sigh* ♥)

Then we went to the dessert stand/shop too!

and we both got an Eren (ofc ♥) icecream, the pink one ♥: it was delicious ;w; ! (like my precious son ♥)

and even there I wasn’t lucky with the charas but at least I didn’t get my least fav this time.

So now I have some cards/stickers to exchange with Eren’s ones or with the one of Levi I still miss. I have the complete collection of Armin and the two cards of Hanji.  (and I also have two Reiner  -wow so lucky ...- and one Jean keychains that I got with gashapons to exchange with everything Eren or Levi related T_T”) If anyone is interested, pls contact me ♥
