U can watch Star Wars so many times and it doesn’t prepare u for how dumb Star Wars is. For one thing I think we gloss over how kenobi (who has definitely been at the club. Please.) describes the mos eisley cantina as the worst most villainous place ever and then u get inside and it’s a pack of muppets vaping

it's kinda comforting to me when my friends are a little annoying or longwinded or abrasive or tired and inarticulate, or they don't do the exact politest thing in every interaction, and stuff, because I know I'm sometimes annoying, or take up a more than my share of conversational space, or forget to ask them questions, etc etc, and... like, I'm always working to be nice to my friends and to get better and better at friend-ing, but it just makes me feel more human about it :}

Oh please can we have context for Clay being upset with JD in that last picture? Because for some reason I looked at it and saw JD still as an eevee and Clay evolved into a jolteon and my first thought was like JD tricked Clay into touching a thunder stone to force him to evolve for the sake of making their team stronger or something and now I've made myself upset

yeah totally! clay's pissed because jd has been putting a lot of pressure on him, floyd, and himself to evolve, because bruce evolved recently and jd wants everything to "work right" as he puts it. clay finally gets sick of it and evolves himself with a thunder stone to get jd off his back. he's really really bitter about it and it's part of the reason he leaves the group later
