fun little notes on how rioa sees things

here's our base example lil thing. some half assed grass n trees, nothing special

i'm not going to draw in all the grass, but i think you can get the idea for her normal vision. none of this is static, other than maybe the grass since the pulses would be too small to see.

without concentrating she can reach ~300 feet away from herself as long as everything is organic. she's slightly color blind and can only see colors within about 10 feet correctly. concentrating she can see up to a mile away without color like this. without actually trying to see it she can identify electrical signals of living things/inanimate things that're electric and pinpoint them in her vision even if they're beyond the normal 300 feet. it takes concentration to keep track of however and can be rather exhausting for long periods of time.

magic and some forms of psiionics disrupt her sight like an enclosed barrier

she can see somewhat normally up to about 60 feet away, but her current detection is highly reduced to about 20 or less depending on how strong the power is.

the campaign rioa was originally created for has finally started. this is the first roll of the whole campaign

Something feels off in the air tonight.... You've already informed Rosie to keep an eye out, but hopefully the Villa is far enough away from where you've wandered no one will be feeling the strange ripples and distortions floating past.

i'll end up giving them more arm positions later, but for now i think danger, help, and just resting hands is enough. (it's not, but I have spent so long working on these i need a break

also really funny to me that rioa has a lot of open mouth options critter just hangs out with their mouth at least a little open a lot

they just Look Like This. it's not the alt palette i use, rioa just looks Weird. they can change their hair color at will, but like its natural color best

previously rioa actually didn't have any ears, and they're trying to figure out how the fuck to do horns and hasn't quite figured them out, but fingernails will come with horns
