and ANOTHER thing about sm:mm is the way Phin and Miles's conflict is treated as a black and white situation, where there can only be one in the right and one in the wrong. There is no middle ground, which is bullshit because there absolutely should be a middle ground.

The arguments in defense of Miles is that Phin is a hypocrite and a heartless asshole. She certainly must not care about Miles at all to be doing what she's doing and not even tell him Rick died. She has no right to be upset at him, she's just being whiny. To that I say: If my friend said he wanted to help my cause and then I find out he just wanted to get information out of me, I'd be pissed the fuck off. From her perspective, it probably seems like Miles wasnt even planning on helping her, he just wanted to spy on the Underground. Yes she's being hypocritical acting like he's so horrible for keeping secrets when she was doing the same thing. However, and I am looking at this from a narrative standpoint, her acting that way isn't a problem. The problem is this never gets called out, not by Miles or really the narrative itself. It's sort of a pattern that the story gives Phin character flaws that never get challenged. Also, and know that I understand why Miles did what he did, but I'm sure there were several other ways to stop Phin than going behind her back. Aaron literally phrases it as "using her" for christ's sake. Again, from Phin's perspective, it's understandable that she'd assume he lied about wanting to help her. She has every right to be upset about that, and her keeping secrets from him doesn't negate that. Also just throwing this out there that Phin has no obligation to tell Miles or anyone that Rick is dead. That's really only her business and I don't know why people act like Miles has a right to know and she's awful for not telling him. I'd get it if Rick and Miles were really close but we're never really shown that in the game. Have you considered, she didn't tell Miles about Rick's death or ask him to help her straight up because it could potentially put his life in danger?

To that I say: I don't think I need to explain while Miles absolutely should not have tried to join her. The Underground is a terrorist group, as much as I hate that they are a terrorist group, they are a terrorist group. They are attacking FEAST trucks and hacking aircrafts to shoot at the city and are only working for Phin because she's supplying them with weapons. In no world would Miles ever work with these people. This would be more understandable if the Underground's only goal was taking down Roxxon like I rewrite them as, but this is blatantly not the case in the game. It doesn't matter how correct Phin's motives are, her team attacks innocent people just for shits and giggles. This is not something Miles would ever in a million years be apart of. It's also worth noting that he absolutely wanted to help her stop Roxxon?? Just not in the way she was going about it, which. Valid. Her team is getting into shoot outs in the streets and their plan involves blowing up a fucking building. He wants to stop Roxxon, just in a way that'll involve a lot less people dying

The correct answer: they both fucked up. They both hid things from each other. Miles lied to her to get info from the Underground, Phin treated Miles kinda unfairly for it. Neither of them handled this correctly. Let's all hold hands now

this guy is dr Krüger, he’s sort of the main antagonist of my cringe ass story…(life after death🤤) he’s also the childhood friend of the main character..(sebastian nachtnebel 🤫🤫)

HE DOESNT HAVE A PROPER FIRST NAME VUT I KNOW FOR SURE IM GONNA GIVE HIME SOMETHING STUPID…LIKE HERMAN..OR GERFRIED..)

((Krüger is a villainous main protagonist of Life After Death. He is Nachtnebel’s childhood and now scholarly companion, with his mind set on one singular goal; to Resurrect the Human Soul. No matter how twisted his methods are, nor matter how many he will affect.))

he’s around 20-25 because his age varies in every little snippet I write (no motivation or concentration to actually write a full fledged story ) and he’s Swiss..i thinj..or he’s German..one of the two 😭

and he’s like 5’4 (because i hate him and hope he gets pounced on by eagles)

((He is a slender, frail man of pale complexion and diminutive stature, standing at a measly 5’4”. His face adorned with moles and blemishes in seemingly random areas, also sporting a large birthmark on the bottom of his chin. His cheeks are described as gaunt, due to malnutrition, his eyes sporting dark bags because of sleep deprivation. To put it simply; He looks sickly, unwell. He isn’t exactly the pinnacle of Health. Which is awfully hypocritical, considering his desired career.

He has green eyes that look awfully bug-like in size, yet rarely show signs of life, usually devoid of any real emotion, only that same, cold glare. His hair is as black as a raven’s feather, and is cut short. (Too short, if we’re being honest. He cuts his own hair, why waste time and money at a Barbershop?) It’s also quite greasy, as he forgoes washing his hair in exchange for continuing his work, despite this; he insists on keeping a clean-shaven face.

His nose is upturned, giving the impression that he’s always looking down upon everyone and anyone, despite his small size. A pair of spectacles adorn his face and rest upon his nose, the silver of the metal frames often catching the light and glistening ever-so-slightly.

His hands, his ‘Instruments of Resurrection’ are smallish, the skin of his right thumb and ring-finger calloused in some areas from gripping either a pen or pencil too tightly while scribbling down research notes and thoughts alike, a small freckle also visible on the loose skin between his thumb and forefinger. His nails also seem to be chewed on, especially on his left hand. They do not tremble at all, as still as stone, which proves useful during his.. experiments.))

he’s not actually a fully fledged doctor yet..he gets people to call him Dr. solely for his ego 😢

he’s a real FREAK. he’s creepy, paranoid, duplicitous, borderline hysterical if you test him. idk, little freak. i hate him, I really do 💔, why is he like this. why are you like this, man,,

he had always been a bit off, having a fascination with morbid topics since the day he had attended his grandmothers funeral at the age of 8..

tldr because I’m too scared of posting all my yapping; he went on to study medicine, and was taken under a rather influential scientists wing to experiment with resurrection of the sort…until a failed experiment left him accused of said mentors murder

AND then once he moved to Octhiovh’zhux (good luck pronouncing that!! I don’t know how to either ❤️❤️) he heard the call, and since his mind’s barriers were weak from the stress and vulnerability from being accused of the murder of someone he viewed as a father figure; he was quickly made as a potential host (I need a name for these thangs..they’re not hosts but they’re half under the influence of the horrors’™️ whims) for the horrors™️. he was already considering starting experiments with deaths, though he was fully convinced by the horrors™️ to begin with it.

it devolved from a grief stricken curiosity to a inhuman obsession.

and so he drags down Sebastian (his beautiful dazzling assistant/j) with him on his little journey to achieve resurrection.

Im a Beta! I personally define it not as being 'just like normal humans', but as a separate third dynamic. In my verse, Betas are extra sensitive to scents and subvocals and can tell the emotions behind them pretty easily. Their own scents don't change as much with emotion, and can have a calming effect.

I do a lot of subvocals! For me, my nonhuman vocals, my vocal stims, and my subvocals are all basically the same thing :33 my most common ones are churrs, coos, purrs, growls, hisses, and trills! They tend to communicate base emotion- happy! Love! Angry! Sad! The humans around me have a hard time interpreting them, but they make instinctual sense to me :D

🐾 . Does your personal misce identify align with specific verses? What are your behaviors and how does it work?

It doesn't really align with one specific verse, and more with all of my kintypes overall. The behaviors/instincts that seem to influence it the most though are avian, canine, and eldritch/divine. Lots of preening, nesting, gifting shiny things, scenting, being territorial, and biting urges.

Very much so! Im most likely misce because of my alterhumanity, and both identities are greatly tied to and influenced by each other. Its interesting, because it's the only identity that only i, the Core/Shell/Prism of my subsystem, have. Im the combination of all the other members, but the misce identity is only mine while my other alterhuman ones tend to originate from sys members.
