"When you reach the bottom, we will cut the ropes. May God have mercy on your soul."

That was to be the last thing she heard. She did not respond. Instead, she watched the darkness below her come closer every time the workers above loosened the ropes, inch by inch. The bottom was still too far to see. Perhaps when she gets down there, there would be enough corpses and bones that she could survive for a few more days. After that... well, maybe if she can last a few days, she'll be able to figure a way to climb back up once all the looker-ons have gone home to their little beds.

They will die in those beds should all go well for her. Not that she dealt in vengeance. It was simply foretold that every soul in that village would die save for herself, and who was she to disobey God's will? She imagined how their screams would sound and smiled.

She felt the bottom of the well just as soon as she was enveloped by the total darkness. The ropes loosened and fell down around her, revealing a sear wherever they'd been hugging her body. She rubbed her poor wrists and looked up. The opening was like a bright moon against the hollow void of night. Altogether, not too far up, it seemed. She felt around her to try to locate the rope (maybe it could aid her escape).

Yet, grasp as she might, she couldn't feel a bit of it. Frowning, she looked into the darkness, willing herself to see where the lengths had disappeared to. The void didn't begin to reveal shapes as her eyes adjusted though. It just remained pitch black.

She felt with her hands until she found the wall, then leaned back against it. For now, she would let the ropes be. They weren't useful for any escape attempt so long as the damned people of this village were still above. Going about their lives, trading fish for bread and letting their nasty little children run around trying to catch hoops with sticks. They would all burn. If not for the great noise they make, for giving her a vegetable soup as her last meal. It was meant to be a final blessing before her condemnation was carried out, but at least they could've added a little bit of meat for her. She wasn't a vegetarian like the man who'd been lowered down the week before.

Speaking of him, she wondered where he'd gone to. She hadn't felt him under her heels when she'd touched the bottom of this well, though the ground was quite squishy. It seemed to be a very small well, too, so he probably wasn't hiding on the opposite side. She tried pushing herself off the wall to start groping around for him. Yet, it felt like something was holding her in place. Tug as she might, the back of her dress was stuck like the world's strongest glue had been painted onto the wall. She put her hands against the wall and pushed as hard as she could. Yet, she was not released.

She tried lifting her feet instead. But, they'd been entirely encased. In fact, the mud below her had swallowed up half her shin. Her hands were stuck up where she'd put them against the wall, too. No matter how much she wiggled or fought, not a bit of her could be pulled back out. In fact, she could no longer pull her back off the wall. And her fingers were engulfed just as she felt the mud squish up to her knees.

A panic blossomed in her chest as she kept fighting against it, trying desperately to free her legs, her back, a pinkie. She could no longer even wiggle her toes. She realized in horror that her head wasn't even able to turn. She looked upwards to the opening. A rounded shadow was peering over one side. She opened her mouth to scream for help, and the mud flooded in to muffle her.

Yet, as she chokde against it, she realized it didn't feel like she had any less air in her lungs. The mud filled her body through her mouth, and she could breath despite it. Any hunger she might've felt was gone.

There were legends about this well. She'd heard them all a thousands times growing up in this village. Nobody knew who'd dug it, but the water that was drawn up was the sweetest anyone had ever tasted. It was rumored that a sick woman could be made well by drinking it, too. But, this time of year was the dry season. If a bucket was lowered in during this time of year, it was impossible to draw it back up. It'd be weeks yet until the water came back.

She closed her eyes as the mud engulfed her and prayed for death to come. It was the first time she learned that not all prayers were meant to be answered.

As the ropes grew tighter, she wondered just how many intact skeletons laid at the bottom of the pit promised to be her punishment.

OOC: Right so the readmore just entirely gave up on my new and hopefully final intro post, so. Fuck it, we ball, I'm putting my OOC info here.

Hi. I'm Hope, you may find me elsewhere at @ofstormsandfire where I am routinely not remotely normal about my favorite fictional characters. One of said faves is Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, because I am really enjoying Bloodborne and also she's just. She's just a really cool character okay. Yes I know she has four lines it's about the ~implications~ y'all.

Last summer, a lot of my friends were getting really into pokeblogging so I made one myself, but I have not gotten anywhere near as invested with any of my other ones as I have with this one. Because I had the thought, the critical thought that started all this, that was "oh hey, people are throwing their faves from other pieces of media into here, I could totally do that too."

And then, near the end of November last year, I thought for too long about how hilarious it would be to throw someone from a tonally incongruous piece of media like Bloodborne into the comparatively much kinder world of Pokémon.

And then I thought for too long about how I could throw this woman who was, in all likelihood, extremely traumatized at a world far kinder than anything she'd ever known before. About how this could be a journey about healing, about falling back in love with life.

...And then I came up with the blog url and it was really all over for me from there.

My own ramblings on how this blog came about aside, Bloodborne is a horror game, it is normally fairly dark. Canon-typical themes for Bloodborne will be present, but I'll do my best to tag for anything that isn't your usual pokeblogging fare and if you'd like anything I'm not already tagging for to be tagged, just lmk, I'm happy to.

And now, assuming my readmore works here (I have my suspicions as to why it isn't on the other post) have some navigational tags under the cut!

Story tags!

#firebird arc: I combined the Radio Tower takeover and the Ho-oh subplot, made the Kimono Girls more relevant, and ramped up the stakes. Ho-oh is a firebird and I think there's a type of rocket called the firebird. I like puns.

#from the ashes arc: Giovanni became an actual threat, there got to be an entire Rocket base in Tohjo Falls, and Silver got traumatized more. Mind the tags and also the warning OOC post at the beginning.

#kanto rocket arc: There wasn't much to do in Kanto so I had Rocket start causing problems on purpose. Silver transed her gender and Giovanni... seemed to no longer be a problem at the end of it.

#downpour arc: Starting soon! First post in the tag is an OOC post explaining a little about what I have planned, there's a few others that are foreshadowing/buildup for it, and then once we're formally starting I'll make another OOC post with more detailed warnings.

#passing stranger: Dee (better known as the Plain Doll in Bloodborne canon) is here! And is now on the blog full-time because I love her and it made thematic sense! The earliest posts from her are from her 24-hour takeover back in February, before anyone knew who she was in-character and Dee was then very invested in keeping it that way.

#milf time and sonboy hours, #milf time: The first tag was specifically posts from Ethan and Reina, but Tumblr stole my yellow and I think stealing it back broke the cut on the other post so I'm not going to risk using it here. Ethan might show up again occasionally, Reina is more likely to show up on her own though. She likes birds and may or may not have had a bisexual awakening when her kid brought a Faller home.

#rainbow wings: Posts from (or sometimes relating to) Ho-oh. They don't post that often but they're a giant rainbow bird they can do what they want. What they want, when they happen to be online, is generally for injustice to Not Happen. Good luck buddy this is the internet.

#the first to fall: The Hunter from Maria's world taking on the role of the player character in Bloodborne. Her name's Mallory, she got the Childhood's Beginning ending for people that means anything to, and she was a Faller in the other direction before dragging herself and Dee into the world of Pokémon. (And, unintentionally, Maria too. She's probably the only unintentional tag-along, though. Right?)

#what's with this sassy lost child?: Posts from Silver, before she got her own blog at @cosmic-crobat. These days she mostly uses her own blog, but she'll still get blue text when she shows up in recordings.

I'm not expecting to win anyone over, I'm already cancelled and this blog is already fucking ruined over the blasting I got on Twitter. And I'm not lashing out bc people got upset, I acknowledged that what I did was wrong (even though it wasn't my intention to be untactful) and I deleted it and apologized, I was upset that I got put on blast, mocked, cancelled and harassed over it when someone could've just talked to me directly to tell me it was upsetting, and when it was an honest mistake.

And that it then got distorted into "I don't care about Alex and like fetishizing that he got hurt so much so that I wrote a self shipping fic with him" without even caring to hear what I had to say.

It's not bc I didn't "care" he got hurt. I specifically said I was worried about him and hoped he didn't push himself too hard and had people in his life that were there for him.

Important: Community Label News and Other Questions for Y'all

[Flagging Posts & Content Policies (Questions at the Bottom)]

Hey guys, more news on the Community Labels! Just so everyone knows, if you're on desktop and see the three little dots on the post and you hover over it/click it, it shows this:

Apparently we aren't supposed to click the flag if the post is properly labeled, because that reports the post to Tumblr as needing a manual review for one. It also looks like this on mobile:

I'm just putting this out there in case y'all are like me and click new things just to see what it does (I almost did it for some posts on my for you page 🤦‍♀️). I'll also be going through all my prev. posts sometime this week to check for what needs to be labeled (smut has already been 👍), but tags work pretty well for now until I go through all 600+ lol. (Though if you do think something needs a warning, please lmk!)

As for content policies someone asked the Tumblr Support Twitter if NSFW content was allowed now with the labels, and this was what they said verbatim: "Hi there, community labels don't change our content policies: and some types of content are still not welcome in the community. More info on what we consider NSFW here: tumblr.com/policy/en/comm.."

However, they deleted this response just recently (??) so I still have no clue what's going on in that regard. I don't post anything that's against the current content policies and don't plan on it either, but just for those who may want to do NS/FW art or smth: please be careful and don't get banned because Tumblr is vague about this. I'll try to keep y'all updated if I find anything new, but just be cautious for now.

As for questions relevant to this blog, here's the deal:

Since I'm going through them anyway, do y'all want anything else tagged for regular asks? Like specific characters, for instance?

This concerns smut (!), so it's very important. Considering how this will make keeping adult content hidden far easier, do y'all think I should still keep it strictly on Ao3 or just post it both here and there? Either way, it's ending up on Ao3 for archival purposes, but I wanted to get your opinions. All shall still be tagged, warned of, and put behind a read more (for extra safety) and we'd probably have to wait like a week or so till the rollout ends - but still, this alters things a bit and I wanted to know if your thoughts have changed on it.

I saw your tags on the edit I made and the background of seriesSean vs bookSean is very interesting! In the series we have White examining his privileges, so changing Sean's background that way adds something to the story I think. I haven't read the book and know nothing about the source material, so it's cool to hear from someone who has. I've also seen you mention Yok and Dan's characters being vastly different in the series. I'd love to hear about other changes made, especially about the characters, if you find any (as the series progresses or when it's finished)!

But overall, considering these changes, do you think the series is loosely based on the book? Or are the changes pretty minor and the series mostly sticks to the story?

Thank you! I love being here, I've been so excited for Not Me since I watched the announcement live and to have so many people join me and fuel my obsession is amazing. I definitely appreciate all the opportunities y'all give me to talk about this show ahshjsj

For the difference in Sean's character, I'd say they did a really good job with his background. In the book he's not like Todd or anything but he comes from a relatively wealthy background, on top of that he's very smart and talented. With all his potential and privilege it's very odd to White that a guy like him would wound up at a low ranking, underserved school like theirs. While the book's plot is very different the text does make it a point to highlight socio-economic disparity through presenting a stark contrast between White (rich) and Black's (poor) upbringing and current lifestyle. Sean sticks out like a sore thumb in that kind of impoverished setting but he makes it clear that he chose to stay with Gram and Yok instead of going some place better where his friends can't follow. It's that sense of loyalty that he has for his people that made me love his character in the book and the way that Sean is written in the show takes that fierceness and loyalty and really puts it to good use.

As for the connection between the novel and the show, I'd say they took the novel as more of a suggestion than a guideline. In my reaction to the trailer here, you can see how confused I was because it really was a whole new story. The show at this point is basically an AU fanfic of the novel. There's similar characters and concepts but it's an entirely distinct story that can and should be viewed as it's own thing separate from the novel.

I rp with @thatmysticaltuxedocat-rp so much bc she's my irl girlfriend 🥰 her Misto and my Tugger are together, her Tantomile and my Coricopat are twins, her Victoria and my Rumpleteazer are together, her Jemima is my Munk's daughter (adopted) and I rp my 3 boys (Munk, Tugs and Mac) as brothers.

EDIT: I am now considering these rp blogs as semi selective, in the sense that we have a few story arcs which we have very specific outcomes planned for, and will not be including all replies or tags we may get from others involving those arcs. These will all be specially tagged, and by no means completely exclusive. All I ask is that before joining in you shoot me or Tasha a message to make sure what you want to bring to the rp doesn't affect our over all story!

That being said, I love interacting with anyone and everyone, and we're in no way an exclusive group. If you wanna rp different ships I'm totally cool with it! Just let me know so we can adjust threads and tag accordingly. I also love interacting with other versions of my faves! Anything simply tagged 'cats rp' with no accompanying arc or au tag is free game to jump in on!

My one big note is I work A LOT and sometimes disappear for a few days at a time. If you've sent me something or tagged me in something and I don't respond, it's probably just a busy week and I'll get back to you when I can.

I rather forget - 1

Based on this post.

Summary: Thomas had a wonderful dream he unfortunately forgot about. The sides lead him to the subconscious to search for it with Remy’s help. He finds long forgotten memories of his sides, things they rather forget and threw there. Why are the yellow memories the most predominant? What is it that Deceit wanted so bad to forget?

Ships: platonic DLAMP, romantic Roceit (maybe, still deciding…), Remy is a flirt but he is completely platonic.

Warnings: sympathetic Deceit and Remus (although they’re just mentioned in this one.) cursed words because I’m a heathen. If i need to tag something else lmk.

With Thomas pacing in his living room it was only a matter of time before the sides appeared. The brunette instantly running to talk to them, especifically, to Roman.

“Roman! What did I dream about yesterday!?” he exclaimed, excited.

“Actually, you must have certainly dreamed it today, since you went to sleep after midnight, meaning…” started Logan, being ignored by everyone once he started rambling. Thomas directed his attention to Roman yet again.

“Uh… pardon moi?” said the creative side.

“Is-is that french? … How do you know french? First spanish now french it just doesn’t make sense to me…” murmured Logan.

“Well! I’m glad you asked! Of course he knows them!” exclaimed Patton, his smile make them all prepared for what was coming. “After all they’re ROMANce languages!”

“… Oh god, no.” facepalmed Logan. While Virgil, who had been very quiet let out a snort.

“I mean partly yeah…” said Roman, hand on his chin.

“Wait, really?” spoke at unison the moral and logic sides.

“My dream!” insisted Thomas.

“Oh, right. Sorry for that figurative tangent…” apologized Logan, focusing on Thomas once more.

“Look, I had this amazing dream you wouldn’t believe!” he exclaimed, arms up in the air.

“Oh! oh! What was it about!?!” said Patton, jumping excitedly.

“That’s the problem! I have no idea!” huffed Thomas, now holding his head. “All I remember is me thinking I could make that into a video…”

“Oh… ”

“I hate that” said Roman echoing Virgil who looked at him in surprise, sharing a little smile.

“My best ideas go to waste that way!” continued Roman, looking back at Thomas.

“Do them? Is there no way to get them back?” Thomas sighed when Roman shook his head.

“Well…” said Logan, fixing his tie. “There might be one way…” earning hopeful looks from Roman and Thomas, he coughed. Virgil and Patton looked at him with confusion. Until he raised an eyebrow.

“OH! oh! oh! yesss” exclaimed Patton, realizing what the logical side meant. Virgil was the next one to understand.

“Do we really?” said the purple side, making a face.

“What? What’s happening?” asked Thomas, looking at all of them.

“They want to go to the subconscious now…” grumbled Virgil. “But…”

“But..? is it dangerous..?”

“Not at all!” Roman said making a pose with his arms.

“Well no, but Remy is… an interesting character.” murmured the anxious side.

“Now, now, Virgil, we don’t judge someone for their personality.” scolded softly Patton.

“Remy? Is he another side!?” questioned Thomas, excitement clear on his face.

“Not quite, the best way to call him would be…uh, a function.” said Logan. “He is sleep.” he explained. There was a beat of silence.

“That b**ch.” Thomas said, and Virgil started making sounds of agreement.

“Kiddo!” scolded again Patton.

“We’re not sure how long the dream will stay in the subconscious, tho.” mumbled Virgil. “or if that dude keeps track of them…”

“Nonsense, I’m sure Sleep has an organizing system that will allow us to…”

“Yeah, no.” interrupted, Roman. “I know the guy, he hangs out in the imagination a lot. And believe me when I say…he doesn’t seem like the type.” shrugged Roman.

“Well, what was the word-oh right, sh*t.”

“Language!” shushed Patton. Crossing his arms.

“None of that explains why I need this…” added Thomas, holding up a cup of Starbucks coffee.

“You don’t think he’s just going to help us for the goodness of his heart, right?” answered, Virgil, making a face.

“Of course he would! We all just want to help Thomas!” exclaimed Patton.

“Tell that to my insomnia…” whispered Thomas.

“uh? I didn’t catch that…?”

“He didn’t throw you anything?” questioned Logic.

“No, it’s-” Thomas sighed, massaging his temple. “just forget it.” he said, which earned him frowns from both sides.

Roman and Virgil were trying really hard to hold back their laughters.

When they finally made it to the subconscious Thomas was tired, after many unsuccessful attempts of making thomas fall asleep and almost deciding to just knock him out, they finally made it. Looking around, he find himself shivering. It was empty, everything around them was black, and the air seemed heavy.

“Guuuurrrrl, I could smell that from miles away.” was the only thing Thomas heard before the cup of coffee was taken from from (almost along with his hand). “This is the good sh*t!”

“Language.” automatically scolded Patton.

“OMG, Patty, my gurl. It’s so f**king nice to see you!” said Remy, Thomas guessed, while the guy put his arm across Patton’s shoulders. “I cannot f**king believe how many time has passed since y'all visited, you ungrateful b**ches.” he continued with a smirk, making Patton’s eye twitch.

“Why is my personality so weird?” asked himself Thomas.

“Well, he’s not…” started Logan.

“I’m not part of your personality, gurl. I’m my own kind of weird. Anyway! Thanks for the coffee, it was a nice detail, now If you excuse me…”

“Wow! Wait a f**king minute!” exclaimed Virgil.

“Language…” murmured Patton again, crossing his arms, defeated.

“Geez, of course you wouldn’t come here just to say hi! Y'all are the same, At least Dee-Dee pretends he wants to make conversation…” said Remy, as he started walking towards somewhere. Thomas didn’t know where, since everything was surrounded by darkness.

“Dee-Dee?” asked Logan, pushing his glasses up his nose, where they moved when Remy grabbed his arm. Thomas found his being grabbed to.

“Deceit comes here?” asked Virgil with a suspicious tone. “Why?” Remy just smiles, looking back at anxiety.

“Well of course, same as you.” he answered, putting his head in Thomas’s shoulder. “It wouldn’t be fair if I only let you guys do it.”

Logan nodded, as if agreeing. Patton gave a shivering Roman a side hug while Virgil crossed his arms, huffing. Thomas look at all of them, confusion clear in his eyes.

“I mean, even trash boy leaves things sometimes! But it’s rare.”

“Remus?” questioned Virgil.

“No, It’s Remy.” said sleep, making Thomas laugh at the reference. This made the guy look at him and Thomas finally was able to look back at him.

He had Ray-Ban glasses, he wondered if he could actually see with them on this dark place. His attire screamed bad boy but Thomas had alredy heard him talk, Remy was none of that. Leather jacket and all. The guy smirked at him and winked, at least that’s what Thomas thought, since he couldn’t see his eyes.

Before he realized, they were already walking on a long hallway. He startled a little, making sleep laugh.

“Don’t worry, babe. I got you.” He murmured.

Thomas nodded, looking around, the hallway was as dark as the entrance, or well, the place they arrived into. He wondered if Remy had just made it look into something he would find more normal to make him less nervous.

As they walked, framed pictures started to show up in the black walls, giving them a little bit of life. The more they walked the more frames there were. Thomas noticed the pictures moved, as if it was some kind of memory recorded and put there. The frames too, were of different colors.

“I don’t have to remind you guys not to touch those, right?” spoke the function, pulling Thomas closer to him when the brunette got too close for comfort to a green frame. “I would specifically avoid grabbing those, hun. If even Rem-Rem wanted that out of his head…” he shivered. “Oof, cannot imagine what would unsettled that dude. Knowing him.”

“What are them?” asked Thomas.

“Memories! There’s a bunch of yours too, but I keep those in a different place.” answered Remy, sipping his coffee. He had Logan crouching next to him, walking funny because of the height difference and because he never let go of his arm.

“Also why are you pulling Logan too…? I mean I understand me but…”

“Ha! This hot babe is more curious than you think. I don’t trust him not to try and poke one in the name of ‘science’…” while he said that he made sure he pulled Logan even closer. “He is also very handsome and I rather have him close if you know what I mean.” he whispered only for him.

“I-”

“You are rather cute yourself!”

“I think that’s quite enough!” huffed Roman, making Thomas jump in fright, he had been quiet since they arrived there.

Remy stopped and turned, linking Thomas and Logan’s arms together. The former looked at the logical side for answers, but Logan just shrugged, holding him closer.

“Ro-Ro don’t be jealous!” said Remy, hugging the creative side. “you know you’re my favorite!” despite himself, Roman couldn’t stopped the tiny smile in his face.

“Well of course!” he said, making a grand gesture with his arms.

“After Dee-Dee!”

“Wait, what!?” said Roman, Virgil and Thomas at the same time. Patton only giggled and Logan shook his head.

“He visits the most, of course I love him!” said as he return to his previous position between Thomas an Logan. “You should come to our pijama parties, raven.”

“I’m good, thanks.” was Virgil’s sarcastic response.

“Oh! Oh! Can I come? Sounds so fun!” jumped Patton.

“Of course!”

“Yaaaaaay.” celebrated the moral side.

“Patton!?”

“Oh, come on kiddo, he can’t be that bad if Remy likes him right?” plead the dad side.

“You can’t trust this guy’s judgment…” insisted Virgil.

“Ohoho no, he’s a total bitch.” interrupted sleep. “That’s exactly why I love him.”

They kept bickering and Thomas was getting even more tired. He looked around once more, watching the moving pictures in the frames, almost like Harry Potter’s! He thought, excitedly. He watched closely but making sure he didn’t touched any by accident. He didn’t know what would happen but he wasn’t going to chance it.

As he payed more attention he noticed the frames were not in any specific order, they were also diferent colors and shapes, it certainly made the walls look less gloomy. He also noticed one more thing.

“Are the yellow ones from Deceit?” he asked, stopping the voices, he hadn’t noticed how loud they were now that even Logan had joined them.

“Uh… What makes you say that?” asked Remy instead of answering.

“Well, you said Remus’s were the green ones. I’m pretty sure I saw Roman in one of the red ones, and the purples can’t be anyones but Virgil's…” Thomas looked back at the other’s, Logan was smiling at him while fixing his glasses.

“Great deductions, Thomas, I’m very proud.” Logic said, making Thomas blush and smile a little.

“That makes the dark blues Logan’s and the light blues Patton’s.” he finished, hand on his neck. Remy smirked.

“Yeah, pretty much.”

“But…” said this time Patton, frowning worriedly. “There are so many…”

Nobody had really noticed how the yellow frames took most of the walls, even more so, as they walked ahead. You could almost miss it at the amount of purples and light blues that also filled the other wise blank spaces. But Patton was right. Yellow was predominant.

“Well, I did say he visited me the most, didn’t I?” shrugged Remy, holding Thomas’s hand. “But is whatever, let’s find that dream you’ve been looking for, Tom-Tom, It shouldn’t be too hard since it’s so recent.”

“Oh… Uh, alright…”

Thanks for the tag! I very much can and will go more in-depth about my answers and/or opinions than I really have to. Reader/s beware.

Favorite color: Very specific answer: like, um, so on a color picker. Somewhere between pink and red and just a bit desaturated and darkened. That's a good color. General answer: usually like pinkish and darker/more muted colors. Can be one or the other or both.

Currently reading: Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, but I only have like 90 pages left so I'm just waiting for a good opportunity to be able to sit down and finish it and start Gemina (bk 2) if I have to. If any of y'all have read it pls lmk I want someone I can talk to about it

Last song: No idea! Unless the background music in a video game counts, probably whichever Christmas song was played last at church yesterday?

Last movie: Is it still Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? I think it's still Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I don't think I've watched another movie since then. My dad wanted me to watch it. One if those movies that felt like a really good example of "They don't make 'em like they used to."

Last series: Switched at Birth in my ASL class-- Honestly I really should start watching the episodes on my own time, too, just bc we pretty much never actually finish an episode before moving onto the next when we have to stop in the middle.

Currently craving: Mmm idk if I'm craving anything in particular but now that you mention it I am kinda hungry, might have to go find a snack in a minute here

Tea or coffee: Coffee! But plain black coffee would be bitter-- I have to put milk and sugar in it. Tea is really good too but doesn't have as much c a f f e i n e so I drink a lot more coffee than tea.

Currently working on: Getting and staying caught up with schoolwork-- Bio and Language Arts have been really rough this year bc my brain kinda just Does Not Work Like That and it's especially annoying with Bio bc science is usually one of the subjects I'm really good at.

currently reading: I’m reading Kevin J. Anderson’s Jedi Search in an attempt to stay sane while I wait for Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil.

last song: The Lights of My Hometown by Aaron Lines. (I’m homesick–haven’t been home to see my family since Christmas 2019 now.)

last movie: I…honesty think it’s the same as the last time I did this, which I think was The Mummy (1999)? I haven’t had the attention span for movies lately–I’ve been sticking to TV shows when I want to watch things.

last series: I’m very, very slowly making my way through Rebels because I am dreading certain events. I’m about halfway through season 3 right now. My roommate and I also just finished a rewatch of season 1 of The Witcher the other day, so not sure yet what I’ll pick to fill the time that was taking!

currently craving: A vanilla dip donut from Tim Hortons!

tea or coffee: Tea! I’m drinking Taylors of Harrington Yorkshire Gold right now. I do love coffee, but tea is usually my preference.

currently working on: Right now I’m trying a thing where I pick one or two things to work on at a time and see them through to completion instead of jumping around between a million things. Sometimes the jumping around works for me; right now it’s just anxiety inducing and exhausting. The two things I’ve  picked to work on for now are a Thranto hurt/comfort fic for a prompt, and the third part of to touch the light, darkest.
