Prompt: Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng meets Wushang and Dayu. Wushang suspects Jiang Shuo as a suspect and follows him to Qin Yiheng's clinic. Jiang Shuo just wants a stress free day with his favorite doctor and partner. Wushang wants the case solved. Dayu wants Wushang to relax before he loses more hair. Yiheng just wants the peace and quiet back in his clinic again.
Oh, another crossover...how fun
Wushuang was pissed.  He had been staring at his case file for over almost an hour before he let out a low groan and pushed himself to his feet, looking out of his office at his subordinates.
“Dayu!” he called out, making his youngest officer, Wang Dayu, look up at him.
“Yes shifu?” he replied.  Wushuang huffed.
“We’re heading out.  I need air” he declared as he headed out of his office, Dayu frowning as he walked away.
“Um…why do I have to come?” he asked, just as Xu Dong and Qi Ran both gave him a look, causing him to flinch before he quickly pushed himself to his feet and walked over to Wushuang, who was waiting for him, before they both headed out of the department, Wushuang walking through the streets with a dark look on his face while Dayu followed behind, a small frown on his.
            “Shifu…” he started.
“What?” Wushuang snapped, making Dayu flinch before he sighed.
“Why don’t we go to like a café or something?  Get something to eat?  It’s almost lunch and I know you haven’t eaten yet” he stated.  Wushuang shook his head.
“I’ll eat after we catch this bastard” he replied causing Dayu to sigh again.
“Shifu, it’s not good for you to not eat…I know this case is stressing you out, but you need to take care of your health” he argued.  Wushuang shot him a glare over his shoulder.
“I’m fine Dayu” he growled.  Dayu sighed a third time.
“You’re going to get more grey hairs if you take everything too seriously” he stated, just as Wushuang spun around and got in his face.
“Are you saying you’re not taking this seriously?” he growled.  Dayu looked at him with wide eyes before he shook his head.
“No, I am, but I’m not letting my job consume me like you are!” he exclaimed.  Wushuang was quiet before he took a step back and sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“I suppose you’re right…maybe I am taking this too seriously” he murmured.  Dayu smiled slightly.
“There’s nothing wrong with wanting to solve a case…but you can’t ignore other important things, like eating” he declared.  Wushuang looked at him before he huffed softly.
“Alright boy let’s go get something to eat.  My treat” he offered, making Dayu grin and clap delightedly as Wushuang chuckled and shook his head fondly.  Dayu was so cute.
~*~*~*~*~*~
At the café, as Wushuang and Dayu were enjoying their drinks and cute little desserts, Wushuang was stirring his straw absentmindedly when he glanced up to see someone wearing a dark blue hoodie walking past, making his eyes widen.
“It’s him” he breathed, making Dayu frown.
“Who?” he asked.  Wushuang looked at him.
“The guy we’ve been after!” he exclaimed before he shot to his feet and rushed out of the café, Dayu’s eyes widening as he turned to stare after him before he quickly pushed himself to his feet and ran out of the café after him.
“Shifu!” he exclaimed as he chased after Wushuang while Wushuang chased after the man in the hoodie, the man soon entering a nearby clinic, forcing Wushuang to follow in after him and immediately draw his gun.
“Freeze!” he shouted.  At his voice, the man immediately froze, just as another man rushed out from the back and looked at Wushuang with wide eyes.
“What is going on?!” he exclaimed, just as Dayu burst into the clinic and looked at Wushuang with wide eyes.
“Shifu!  Put the gun down!  You don’t even know if it’s him!” he exclaimed, only for Wushuang to huff as he looked at the man in the hoodie.
“Suspect!  Turn around, slowly” he ordered.  The man in the hoodie was quiet before he slowly turned around, his hands raised in surrender, and faced Wushuang and Dayu, Wushuang motioning to him with his gun.
“Lower your hood” he instructed.  The man nodded and slowly reached up, lowering the hood to reveal the face of a young man.
“Have I done something wrong, officer?” he asked.  Wushuang narrowed his eyes at him, just as Dayu stepped forward.
“No, you haven’t.  I apologize for my shifu, really, I don’t know what’s gotten into him” he apologized before he turned and glared at Wushuang.
“Put your gun away!” he barked.  Wushuang huffed and placed his gun back into his holster as the other man crossed his arms.
“What is going on here?  Why have you burst into my clinic like this?” he demanded.  Dayu looked over at him and winced.
“We’re really sorry.  We’ve been searching for a suspect in a series of robberies and he’s always seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, just like your…friend here” he explained, just as the man in the hoodie huffed.
“Well, I can assure you, I haven’t committed any robberies” he assured as the other man huffed.
“Yes, and I would know” he declared, making Wushuang raise an eyebrow.
“And why is that?” he asked.  The man huffed.
“Because we’re partners.  We don’t hide anything from each other” he explained.  Dayu then tilted his head.
“Do you mind me asking your names?” he inquired.
“I’m Dr. Qin Yiheng, this is Jiang Shuo” the man introduced, first motioning to himself then to the man in the hoodie.  Dayu nodded.
“I’m Wang Dayu and this is my shifu, Xu Wushuang” he replied before he bowed.
“We’re so sorry for disturbing you” he apologized before he looked over at Wushuang.
“Aren’t we, Shifu?” he asked.  Wushuang looked back at him before he looked at Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng, dipping his head.
“My apologies” he apologized.  Jiang Shuo then crossed his arms.
“Is all you know about the thief is that he wears navy hoodies?” he asked.  Wushuang nodded.
“Pretty much.  Though we also know he tends to frequent this part of town” he explained.  Jiang Shuo hummed.
“Well, if someone thought it was me, I wouldn’t be surprised; I’m always here to visit Qin Er” he stated as Dayu looked at Qin Yiheng.
“Dr. Qin, have you happened to notice anything suspicious?  Since you do have a store-front property” he asked.  Qin Yiheng hummed before he shook his head.
“I haven’t really noticed anything.  But I tell you what…how about if I see something, I give you a call?” he offered.  Dayu grinned and nodded.
“That would be great, thank you” he thanked before he reached into his pocket and pulled out a business card, handing it to him.
“Please call that number if you happen to hear or see something” he instructed as Wushuang pointed to Jiang Shuo.
“And in the meantime, maybe you shouldn’t wear your hoodies.  You know, just until the suspect is caught” he stated.  Jiang Shuo sighed and nodded.
“Sure, I guess” he agreed, just as Qin Yiheng rolled his eyes.
“Oh, so when the cop who pointed his gun at you tells you to not wear your hoodie you listen but when I, your lover, tell you to do it, you whine and complain!” he exclaimed.  Jiang Shuo smiled.
“But you like it when I whine and complain, Qin Er” he teased, making Qin Yiheng roll his eyes and shake his head again as Dayu grinned.
“Thank you.  And we’re so sorry again” he apologized before he reached out and grabbed Wushuang’s arm, dragging him out of the clinic as Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng watched before Qin Yiheng looked down at the card in his hand.
“Are you sure you haven’t done anything?” he asked, glancing up at Jiang Shuo.  Jiang Shuo raised his hands in surrender.
“I haven’t!  I swear!” he exclaimed.  Qin Yiheng hummed, causing Jiang Shuo to raise an eyebrow.
“What is it?” he asked.  Qin Yiheng glanced over at him before he shook his head.
“Nothing…just thinking” he replied before he looked at him.
“Liu Zhi hasn’t gotten out, has he?” he asked.  Jiang Shuo’s eyes widened.
“No!  Of course he hasn’t!” he exclaimed before he paused.
“At least…I don’t think he has” he murmured before he looked at Qin Yiheng with wide eyes.
“Qin Er—” he started when Qin Yiheng shook his head.
“He hasn’t.  I was just asking.  Don’t worry.  I know he hasn’t” he assured.  Jiang Shuo nodded before he shook his head.
“Who’s been committing all of these robberies?” he asked.  Qin Yiheng shook his head.
“I don’t know…guess we’ll have to wait and find out” he replied.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, as they headed back to the police station, Dayu glared at Wushuang.
“Shifu!  You cannot just go around accusing people of being a suspect when we don’t even have any evidence!  We literally have nothing!  You should know better!” he exclaimed.  Wushuang huffed.
“He was wearing the hoodie; I thought it was him” he grumbled.
“That’s circumstantial at best!  If I pulled something like what you just pulled, you’d have my ass!  You know better!” Dayu scolded.  Wushuang glanced over at him before he sighed and nodded.
“You’re right, I’m sorry.  I should have thought before I ran after him…it won’t happen again” he promised.  Dayu huffed.
“It better not” he grumbled before he took him by the arm.
“Come on, I’m hungry.  Let’s go eat something” he declared.
~*~*~*~*~*~
A few days later, as Dayu was working on paperwork, his phone suddenly rang, making him look at it in surprise before he reached out and picked up the receiver, placing it to his ear.
            “Hello?” he answered.
            “Wang Dayu?” a voice inquired.
            “Speaking” Dayu replied.
“Dayu, this is Dr. Qin Yiheng.  We met a few days ago” Qin Yiheng stated, making Dayu’s eyes widen.
“Oh, Dr. Qin!  Yes, how can I help you?” he asked.
“Are you and Officer Xu busy?  We have someone we’d like for you to pick up” Qin Yiheng declared.  Dayu raised an eyebrow before he nodded.
“Sure, we’ll be right down” he assured before he hung up and pushed himself to his feet, heading to Wushuang’s office.
“Shifu” he called out, making Wushuang look up at him.
            “Hmm?” he replied.
“Dr. Qin just called and asked if we could come down to his clinic.  Says he’s got a person there he’d like for us to pick up” Dayu explained.  Wushuang frowned before he pushed himself to his feet and walked over to him, looking him in the eyes.
“Well what are we waiting for?  Let’s go!” he exclaimed.  Dayu smiled and nodded before he and Wushuang headed out of the department, heading to Qin Yiheng’s clinic.
~*~*~*~*~*~
When they arrived at the clinic, they both headed inside to see Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng standing on either side of a man on his knees, the man dressed in a navy hoodie.
“What’s this?” Wushuang inquired.  Qin Yiheng looked at him before he motioned to the man in the hoodie.
“Your thief” he replied as Jiang Shuo grinned.
“He tried to steal from my Qin Er and I couldn’t have that happen so…ta da!” he exclaimed.  Both Dayu and Wushuang looked at them in surprise before Wushuang hummed and stepped forward, grabbing the man by the arm before he yanked him to his feet.
“We’ll follow up and make sure that he’s actually the thief we’ve been looked for but…thanks” he thanked before he dragged the man out of the clinic, Dayu watching them leave before he looked at Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng, smiling brightly.
“Thanks for your help.  Feel free to call if you have any other problems” he insisted before he turned and headed out of the clinic after Wushuang, Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng watching them leave before Jiang Shuo looked over at Qin Yiheng and smiled.
“Finally, some peace and quiet, huh?” he asked.  Qin Yiheng hummed.
“Finally” he agreed, just as Jiang Shuo smiled and walked over to him, wrapping an arm around him before he rested his chin on his shoulder.
“Though nothing’s really ever “peaceful” or “quiet” when I’m around, right Qin Er?” he asked.  Qin Yiheng huffed.
“Yes, because you’re a menace” he replied.  Jiang Shuo grinned.
“But I’m your menace” he remined, causing Qin Yiheng to huff softly before he looked over at him, his eyes full of fondness.
            “Yes…yes, you are” he agreed.

Danmei and Baihe C Novels and Manhua Officially Licensed in English
Things are getting licensed fast enough that keeping a list like this up-to-date is basically impossible, but I saw someone asking in the tags so I figured I'd try. All titles are danmei unless otherwise noted (very little baihe is licensed so far). I've included Chinese titles, but sometimes publishers change the original titles so much that I can't track them down, apologies. I've hit the link limit on this post so I've had to remove NovelUpdate links, but they're still in the version of this post on Wordpress. Note that Taiwanese titles are not included on this list.
This is everything I know of as of October 24, 2024. There might be more. I tried. Resources used to compile this list: Danmeinews.com; this Carrd, last updated in March 2023; this other carrd last updated October 23 2024; list of danmei with official licenses on NovelUpdates; a similar list on Goodreads; danmei-specific list on Reddit that to my eye looks accurate for the larger publishers but isn't thorough for some of the smaller ones.

Seven Seas:
The full list of danmei novels licensed by Seven Seas is here. The full list of danmei manhua licensed by Seven Seas is here.
These titles are in various stages of publication, from "entire series released" to "license literally announced less than a week ago." As far as I know, all Seven Seas titles are available world-wide, through major distributors and libraries, and in e-book and print formats. Seven Seas translation quality varies but the editing is general strong and the editions are sturdy and nice. Note that Seven Seas isn't without controversy, especially for treating their contractors poorly resulting in them unionizing. Some people have also been unhappy with the fidelity of their translations compared to the original Chinese (I've been satisfied personally but ymmv).
Mo Xiang Tong Xiu titles:
The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System (Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong)

-
Rosmei:
Rosmei licenses are Singapore distribution rights only. There is a list of international partners organizing group orders here. I've personally placed my orders through Yiggybean, as discussed in reply to this ask. Most of these titles are only being released as print editions, tho titles that weren't originally on JJWXC (of which there are several here) WILL have e-book editions. My first book from Rosmei arrived, and I found the translation and editing to be very strong. I can't speak to how accurate it may be to the Chinese original, but it read smoothly and had very few errors. Overall, though they've made some mistakes, they've been communicative and responsive.
Ning Yuan titles:
BAIHE: At the World's Mercy by Ning Yuan

Peach Flower House:
Peach Flower House titles are primarily for sale through their website and through some distributors, such as Amazon.com. Whether titles are e-book only, print only, or both varies by title. In my opinion, Peach Flower House has inconsistent inconsistent editing quality, but the books are very readable, and I'm excited that they're working with translators such as E. Danglars. I haven't bought any of their special editions so can't speak to their extras, but I've bought all their print translations and will continue to do so going forward.
Da Feng Gua Guo:
The Imperial Uncle (Huang Shu)
Peach Blossom Debt (Taohua Zhai)
Other Titles:
Golden Terrace (Huang Jin Tai) by Cang Wu Bin Bai
In the Dark (Zai Hei An Zhong) by Jin Shisi Chai
Little Mushroom (Xiao Mogu) by Shisi
University of the Underworld (Yinjian Daxue) by Ziloi
-
Via Lactea:
The partial list of danmei novels licensed by Via Lactea is here, but there are titles I've seen them selling that aren't on this list.
Via Lactea titles are primarily for sale through their website and through some distributors, such as Amazon.com. All titles are either print-only or e-book + print. Only a handful have actually been released, the rest are licensed and presumably in progress. I've now read three titles published by Via Lactea and while the translations are decent I could wish the editing was more consistent. Everything reads as if it would have been improved by one more thorough proof read.
Jing Shui Bian titles:
Salad Days (Jing Jiu)
Silent Hearts (Mo Mai)
Other Titles:
Apocalypse (Quanqiu Jinhua Hou Wo Zhan Zai Shiwulian Dingduan) by Qi Liu

Aloha Comics:
A tiny, Hawaii-based press focusing on manhua. Titles are available through major retailers such as Amazon and Bookshop.org. I've purchased one of these titles - Nirvana in Fire - and was please with the quality despite a couple minor errors.
All these titles are manhua!
Day Off by Qing Cai
Heaven Official's Blessing Animation Manhua by Bilibili and Mo Xiang Tong Xiu (this is a manhua made based on the donghua, using donghua art)
Here U Are by DJUN
Link Click by Li Haoling and Haoliners (not technically danmei!)
Nirvana in Fire (Lang Ya Bang) by Hai Yan (not technically danmei!)
-
Monogatari Novels:
Monogatari Novels is based in Spain. These titles can also be ordered from at least some major retailers. Note that there has been some controversy about Monogatari Novels. I'm personally not ordering these works until more information is available.
BAIHE: A Clear and Muddy Loss of Love (Jing Wei Qing Shang) by Please Don't Laugh
BAIHE: Female General and Eldest Princess (NuJiangjun he Zhang Gongzhu) by Please Don't Laugh
How to Survive as a Villain (Chuan Yue Cheng Fanpai Yao Ru He Huo Ming) manhua by Yi Yi Yi Yi
The Legendary Master's Wife (Chuanshuo Zhi Zhu de Furen) by Yin Ya
The Silent Concubine (Ya Nu) by Qiang Tang
BAIHE: Soulmate manhua by Wenzhi Lizi
-
BLoved Publishing:
ngl I can't figure out exactly what is up with this, and there seems to be some controversy related to them and their relationship with Monogatari Novels. Their website is depressingly low on details. However, this list is for completeness, so here we are. I'm not ordering from them based on the information currently available. There's more about the conflict between them and Monogatari here.
How to Survive as a Villain (Chuan Yue Cheng Fanpai Yao Ru He Huo Ming) manhua by Yi Yi Yi Yi
The Legendary Master's Wife (Chuanshuo Zhi Zhu de Furen) by Yin Ya
-
Chaleuria:
As far as I can tell, Chaleuria has not updated their webpage since April 2023, so the current status of in-progress titles is unknown. All titles are digital and/or e-book, and I'm not sure how to purchase them as I haven't tried.
The Complete Guide to the Use and Care of a Personal Assistant (Zhuli Shiyong Zhinan) by Why Radiance
Deep in the Act (Ru Xi) by Tongzi
Fake Slackers (Wei Zhuang Xue Zha) by Mu Gua Huang (no longer available)

World Hopping: Avenge Our Love (Ni Wufa Yuliao de Fenshou, Wo Du Neng Gei Ni Song Shang) by Xiaomao Bu Ai Jiao (no longer available)
-
Webnovel:
When I first made this list, I heard that Webnovel had a few titles but couldn't actually find them - but now I've found them, thanks to a list someone else put together. I'm including direct links to them, since I had so much trouble finding them at all.
Comrade: Almost a Cat-astrophic Love Story (Jintian ye Yao Nuli Dang Zhimao) by Demonic Fire (link)
My Boyfriend is a Dragon (Nanpiao Shi Tiaolong) by Chubby Strawberry Sauce (link)
The National Sweetheart Livestreamer is a Pro! (Quanmin Zhubo Shi Duiba) by Mo Shang Wang (link)
-
Honorable Mentions:
There are a handful of titles I know of that are official translations of C Novels. These are not books with contextual queerness, but for folks with an interest in Chinese history and culture, they are worth checking out anyway, especially because understanding these stories can help understand the above books. Also, some have active shipping fandoms (for example, I've written for Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Daomu Biji). I've included two above under the entry for titles from Aloha Comics (Link Click and Nirvana in Fire) and here are a couple others I currently know of:
Dream of the Red Chamber (Hong Lou Meng) by Cao Xueqin, available in translation for free from Project Gutenberg
The Grave Robbers’ Chronicles (Daomu Biji) by Nanpai Sanshu (six volumes are available in English from Things Asian Press)
Journey to the West (Xiyou Ji) by Wu Cheng-en, in four volumes from University of Chicago Press
The Legend of the Condor Heroes (She Diao Yingxiong Chuan) by Jin Yong, in four volumes from St. Martin’s Press
Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Sanguo Yanyi), attributed to Luo Guanzhong, available in translations for free from Archive.org
The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants (Zonglie Xiayi Chuan), attributed to Shi Yukun, available in translation for free from Archive.org
Water Margin (Shuihu Zhuan) by Shi Nai’an, from Tuttle Publishing
RESOURCE: List of Chinese speculative fiction in English translation
RESOURCE: More Chinese speculative fiction in English translation
I will add to the "Honorable Mentions" list if I find any other more mainstream titles with official translations.
-
Rumored Licenses:
Sometimes, I hear rumors about titles being licensed before the license is announced - and thus before we know which publisher has licensed them (assuming the rumor is even true). I thought I should note these somewhere. Titles I know of rumors about currently are:
A Certain Someone (Moumou) by Mu Su Li
Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know (Mozun Ye Xiang Zhidao) by Cyan Wings
The Fourteenth Year of Chenghua (Chenghua Shisi Nian) by Meng Xi Shi
Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating (Wanglian Fanche Zhinan) by Jiang Zi Bei
Immortal Koi is Going to Debut (Jinli Daxian Yao Chudao) by Mo Xi Ke
Mist (Bowu) by Wei Feng Ji Xu
-
A handful of other licenses are mentioned on the Carrd I linked at the beginning of this post; I have no idea the status of those titles and wasn't able to find information on them while putting together this post other than what was listed on that Carrd, so I've omitted them.
Now go forth, and buy some books!

Tag Game
I was tagged by @susuwatari-kompeito! Your blog tagline is a pile of knives and I love it! <3
Three Relationships:
1) Fu Shen x Yan Xiaohan (黄金台 / Golden Stage):
Where to even start?? Enemies-to-lovers power couple + arranged political marriage + heaps of flirting and romance. So. Great.
2) Xu Xilin x Dou Xun (过门 / Guomen):
I am a sucker for character growth and development, and these two don't disappoint on that front. This book made me ugly cry like nothing else, and I am still not over it. Also, they have THE most hilarious child (ok, fine, it's a parrot)!
3) Cui Buqu x Feng Xiao (无双 / Wushuang / Peerless):
These two are 🤡x🤡 24/7. They are SO funny and ridiculous. Nothing says, "I love you" like kidnapping, poisoning, and constantly plotting your lover's rival's downfall. Petty, scheming, might-die-at-any-moment, prickly control freak (with secret marshmallow center) whose favorite hobby is digging metaphorical pits for others vs. the most shameless, narcissistic mysophobe who secretly enjoys falling into said pits. E.g. FengCui, 100% head-over-heels:

A new era in the rise of moderate games?
In neuro-scientific overseas games recently, the has often talked about two principles: light game titles, heavy game titles and casual game titles matrix. Star video game products such as Legend of Bow and Arrow have defined new possibilities for medium-level games to proceed overseas. This week's [Students' Association] activity talked about and diverged this matter. Topics consist of whether reasonable games are a business trend, how to gauge a good start-up corporation, the evolution of the game industry, opportunities in the game regional marketplace, and so forth. The following text is a compilation of questions and answers from the guests. Part 1. Industry status 01 How can you view the development trend of light games? Google Advertising Department Heavy games have not fully occupied the market prior to the development of light games. Before, light games have constantly made a lot of money without entering the public eye. There has been a excellent increase in the user volume of light games previously 2 yrs, but there has not been lots of increase in the operating water. Actually, the heaviness of light games has a lot related to ROI. The competition in this type is getting increasingly more fierce. Formerly, advertising was primarily monetized, however the increase in ROI cannot cover up the increase in cost. Thus, in order to remain aggressive, these manufacturers have to consider transformation and elect to moderate the game to get other ways of monetizing. From a matrix perspective, there is a trend, however the threshold is very, very high, only suitable for large-scale companies. 89Trillion Candy Chen As far as we are concerned, we are nevertheless a self-developed corporation and a content provider (CP). The development of casual games is getting worse and even worse for us. The threshold of the matrix is ??very higher. From the perspective of CP, it cannot continue to provide optimistic ROI. We are also very complete in the commercial chain from promotion to realization, so we are now concentrating on the merchandise. The development trend of light games is to believe about how to retain users. Customers value this content, so the video game becomes increasingly more important. If ROI is monetized only by advertising, it will be restricted by the system. So our strategy would be to go lightly to the middle, and think that the middle game has area for growth. The core would be to attract common users first, provide deeper content and gameplay, and gradually transform them into primary users. I think that is an inevitable trend.
Keep discovering gameplay, 10 year old moderate game Clash of Clans Battlecry Network Liu Nan Before, we also wanted to be considered a platform, but then we nevertheless made content steadfastly. This strategy is just to get the marketplace positioning and handle costs. In 2018, we tried to transform to ultra-leisure but didn't succeed because there is no earlier traffic matrix. Hyper-casual games need a lot of creativity, including improvements in gameplay and styles. Small companies have no advantage if indeed they simply duplicate successful products. For pure CP, we still wish that high-quality content can get visitors. The traffic flow company may be not the same as ours. For us, it is to create each item steadily, not fast but it will not die. Electric Soul Chang Sheng I talk about some views upon this issue from the perspective of traders. Matrix flow can be an obvious trend, and I've different views on the medium. First, the game category is now exploding, and just before that, reasonable to heavy games dominated the world. Now this kind of medium-to-heavy video game investment is getting bigger and larger, like a small studio can't pay for it. Correspondingly, some individuals in a small game can make interesting products, which is a way for them to split the game. Therefore my perspective is that neutralization isn't a trend, but a spectral range of colors. Before, there have been only heavy games, and the spectrum will be chock-full gradually, so neutralization is a phased trend. Minute, China's entrepreneurial environment, education program, and growth experience do not assistance us to make hyper-casual games with many creativeness. Indie game must be completed by someone, nonetheless it may not be what we are good at. The Chinese are usually better at making moderate to large high-paying games. Thus, the trend of reasonable to severe games is seen predicated on China's advantages. The official Google agent We used to create equipment, but we only made games previously half a year. Mainly in abroad markets. I can share with you the insights from tool transformation. I concur that moderation of light games can be an inevitable trend. The biggest feature of light games is that the ROI has already been very thin, which is a huge industry premise. Under the premise of quite thin income, I pay even more focus on the team's perspective: for instance, because of our previous tool experience, we are very complete in terms of monetization and expense, and relatively speaking, we've a certain amount of capital and team accumulation. Thus, our positioning is usually to be a corporation in the main region, to increase our prior cognition and adopt something matrix strategy. This strategy is basically because first, we are able to afford it, and if we have time to polish product features, we've a good ROI from the merchandise perspective. The second is that people can allocate some of the cost for long-term buys, and can make products which are partial to long-term recycling. Most companies which have equipment going abroad will select this strategy. I think there are mainly three types of players for lightly heading overseas companies: 1. Start-up companies concentrate on content, and large system companies depend on the empowerment of big companies to improve their product output. 2. Companies which have a certain amount of accumulation can make something matrix, and make some light games more refined. 3. Large companies have their very own item matrix, plus they concentrate their products on their inherent traffic advantages. Multiple matrices flow backwards to reduce costs. In a nutshell, ecology is essential. It is difficult for a easy small enterprise to survive. Over time, just how of monetizing marketing may change.
Voodoo, the European manufacturer with the developed casual video game matrix Beluga Whale Going to Sea Wang Xiaohan From the perspective of the media, the moderation of light games is indeed an obvious trend. But on the other hand, we also see that heavy games are completed lightly. For example, Japanese cards RPG can be extremely popular. Mild games are usually moderated because they desire to retain users, while heavy games are usually moderated to catch the attention of even more users to have fun with. Now I see that the in-app buy of ultra-casual games is mainly to eliminate ads, and the increase in RPG is still relatively small, because the introduction of RPG takes a specific amount of experience, which is more challenging to balance. GLU Xu Siyuan From the perspective of Silicon Valley, I personally feel that the current development trend isn't very good. Now everyone is searching for a way to survive. We want to make good content, however the business element still requirements the assistance of data and revenue. Mobile games have passed the phase when cellular hardware was just launched. In those days, game programmers could get lots of income, and the expense of acquiring users previously two or three years has doubled many times. Glu has made many tries, such as platform and place based games. As game programmers, we certainly desire to make a good product, however the competition in the market is very higher and we do not let us to consider excellent risks. Glu has also done IP-based games, such as "Kim Kardashian" and "Hell's Kitchen area". China is now the traffic innovator, so you can try out this path.
Glu's primary Kardashian IP game-Kim Kardashian 02 How to measure a good game startup corporation? Electric Soul Chang Sheng This is also an issue we have been facing, but there is no gold standard. Deep down, I'm even more resistant to CP because the threat of CP is too much. We have to have some integration with abroad business, so we've recently committed to a number of CPs. I discover that war expense is more vigorous in this market now. I've judged a good game team with the following criteria: 1. Start with my own demands where direction I wish to spend money on, such as female-oriented, two-dimensional, and armed service weapons categories. 2. The team has a relatively higher completion item. There are specific products that can be evaluated. 3. Just like a team with previous item experience accumulation. 4. The team creation staff love games from the center and have a very deep understanding of their products. A team that has both item and company is rare, so a combination of teams is required. Atlanta divorce attorneys field, there are enough people who can do the job. For example, the maker himself must have an excellent passion for games without worrying about business. Jiuding Wushuang Candy Chen Our standards will be the following: 1. The creative capability of the team. 2. The enthusiasm of the team is essential. I favor to talk to the project producer to measure the degree of the maker and the producer's understanding and prediction of the vertical industry. We like to cooperate with producers with successful experience. Although this type of individuals is relatively small, their possibility of success is relatively higher, but this type of talent can be competed by huge manufacturers. We like to work with companies which are more ideal for us, and everyone can sparkle collectively.
Google Advertising Department From an advertising perspective, I think the criteria for a good game company are: 1. Discover if the business has accumulated good product experience. This is specifically reflected in the truth that some major video game manufacturers in European countries and america have a lot of super-casual games. They have their very own empirical judgment standards. They're always ready to arrive to the game. As long as they meet some KPI assessments, it can confirm that the game has a future Yes, for instance VooDoo. 2. The value supplied by the ball player. For example, Monument Valley is very not the same as big games in terms of commercial value, but games do have good content. If you can manage your own game users well, I think additionally it is a good game company. It isn't that the even more advertising, the higher, there are different metrics. 03 Is type important to game entrepreneurship? Google Advertising Department Not really counting. It is best to select a good type from the perspective of entrepreneurial success rate. But actually the old mode of complement-3 may combine with other types to create new games, and it is not completely without chance. Electric Soul Chang Sheng Category is just a thinking framework, that is wrong alone but very useful. The design is for everybody to talk to each other without much deviation and the precision isn't high. Many games now have a combination of several gameplay and cross-border forms. Group offers a thinking design. The hybridization of several models can produce fresh categories. In recent years, there has been an excellent outbreak of hybridization, such as eating chicken. I anticipate any new type evolution in the next three years.
The masterpiece of the brand new match-3: Dream Home Part 2. Breaking the Wall Discussion 01 What upstream and downstream ecology may promote the evolution of video game products? Branch Li Xiaopeng There are two points to talk about from the perspective of advertising data monitoring: 1. Breakthrough in gameplay: Facebook and Google are still the focus in terms of advertising growth. However, we have also seen some main overseas companies looking for breakthroughs, such as how to divert external web traffic to apps, which is a big traffic pool compared to conventional App advertising. 2. Market selection: In the beginning, everyone mainly went to the Southeast Asian marketplace, but since last year many companies have relocated to the Middle East, India and Pakistan. Southeast Asia has already been relatively saturated, however the Indian and Pakistani marketplaces have great potential. Google Advertising Department When Google, as the system party, cooperates with programmers, it is mainly system distribution and monetization. The indicator we are more worried about may be the conversion rate. The system and device atmosphere are very important to the conversion rate. In countries such as Indonesia, it is difficult to improve the conversion rate if the game dimension is too large and these devices cannot be loaded. They are things that developers need to consider in the emerging marketplace. If advanced equipment becomes popular in the future, you will see an improvement for games. Another observation is that the development environment has become much more pleasant, and the threshold has become lower. 02 What's the possibility of social attributes in games? Battlecry Network Liu Nan We also started from the social ecology of games. Social is truly a generalized concept. Things that are tool attributes at the beginning may grow faster, such as companion App. There are users with social attributes, and the problem is how to connect these users. Tencent QQ has been also a tool at the beginning. Later on, an individual stickiness was solid plenty of and the amount of users was big before it started socializing. So the time home window is essential, but it isn't specific whether it could be produced, such as Meitu Xiuxiu. Needless to say, there are social attributes of games, but they need to evolve into a specific form before they can turn out. The leap from equipment to content isn't so difficult, however the leap from content to social is more challenging, and operations must be strengthened. If our video game content is performed well, we are able to increase social attributes, and may use other systems for social networking, such as Facebook Group. It is a fragmented ecology. This is our current technique. Electric Soul Chang Sheng The overall game itself has social attributes. If you play well, it's a gameplay, and if you do not play well, it's an internal communication tool. My judgment is a strategy of solid content and fragile social interaction and weak content and strong social interaction. Socializing can sometimes be distracting. Speaking with businessmen and asking about the functionality of the opponent's team in the game is also a form of social interaction. As long as pan-social can provide individuals with a topic, it can spend relatively little input to acquire users. Social in-game needs to be considered, but social out-of-game may be the most commercially precious part. As an important small monitor for user activities in games, e-sports is essentially the same as considering an MBA. It's that the user's interest shifts from offline to on the internet. Professional e-sports players can kill ordinary people in secs. Their daily training is no not the same as that of sportsmen. The life routine of e-sports activities is relatively long. Players will have fun with one type or one video game throughout their lives.
The popular Switch platform game in the circle of friends, Animal Crossing Friends Club Media individual Jin Yechen I am much player myself. The most socially attributed participant I've played is Dongsen, gives me a different experience. I was even more proof to Dongsen before due to the monotonous design and gameplay, but I performed it because my friends pulled me to have fun with, so social attributes are very useful for refreshing and stickiness. Minus the slow-paced gameplay of social attributes, it is impossible to play. I think the design of social attributes is a very interesting thought. The problem of games where social attributes participate in gameplay has been happening continually previously few years. In the future, there may be more games which are completely social, which is a path worth exploring. Including social attributes to games with strong content will affect the knowledge. Outside the video game, such as reside broadcast, it might be a good help. Part 3. Opportunity to discuss 01 Do you know the fresh possibilities for video game monetization? 89Trillion Candy Chen I may be more optimistic about integrating with e-commerce. One situation is that design components of Design House are integrated with the brand. Addititionally there is Convet Fashion of Glu, which cooperates with brand owners to market clothes. The primary monetization is founded on e-commerce income, and China could have an edge. Because our power and period are restricted, I can't check out Taobao after doing offers. This is a pain point and can be directed at mid-to-high-end individuals. Another situation is a simulated company game, however the developer is a winery. His monetization technique is that players make their very own wines and deliver it offline. Combining on the internet and offline, gaming and e-commerce can be an possibility. Another model may be the sponsor design (such as eating chicken). I think the brand superior ability is much stronger than the user's superior ability. Google Advertising Department The direction of high-quality IP has been tried by many manufacturers, however the ideas of new programmers will vary from the original ones. From the beginning of the IP project, a very complete set of filing, high-high quality production, and team have already been prepared. For example, Angry Birds and Onmyoji produced a movie. But not much has been made, because many IPs have become small. Commercialization can only increase the stickiness of specific niche market users, and the derivatives may be offline routines rather than movies. IP isn't an immediate thing, it takes time to settle down.
NetEase's famous two-dimensional card game-Onmyoji GLU Xu Siyuan We are mainly doing system, location based games. Our revenue will not come from users, but from the cooperation of third-party retail manufacturers. Online and offline promote each other, and online provide you with a gaming experience. The discount codes you may get in the game come from manufacturers. In a few games, the ads of the offline manufacturers are imprinted in the corresponding position in the game. There's room to try. Electric Soul Chang Sheng Wangzhuan's publishing of components has been extremely popular lately, and income has also risen, which might be a income source. There is also a blind box item. I have no idea if there is a market overseas. 02 Where will be the opportunities in the game regional market? Electric Soul Chang Sheng India and Indonesia are usually both areas of concern if you ask me. However, the entire marketplace in India isn't so good now. Politics, competition, and the epidemic are all factors, and the expense of acquiring clients isn't low. I think the Indonesian marketplace is pretty good. The ceiling of the Indonesian marketplace is very high and an individual cost is low, so platform examining can be done. There are some categories that people think aren't suitable for overseas marketplaces, however they have an excellent marketplace in Indonesia, such as Gongdou, and Japan and South Korea also perform well. So that you can try to devote different types and there may be surprises in various markets.
Tumblr media
Branch Li Xiaopeng It is easy to overlook Pakistan, nonetheless it has huge development potential. There are several reasons: 1. It gets the same origin with Indian culture 2. It has a good relationship with China 3. The demographic dividend is big. In order to spend money on the Indian marketplace, you can also appear at Pakistan. And Pakistan's Web infrastructure is quite good, since it is built with Chinese aid. There is also a Middle Eastern marketplace that is becoming more and more well-known. The overseas social products show explosive development. In addition, the growth point of the very casual small video game segment has a 200% development compared to last year, and there are numerous opportunities. Interactive stories Interactive stories are also very interesting. They're aimed at ladies, and women can afford them perfectly.
Interactive Novel-Chang'an Twelve Hours Grand View Funds Wei Haijun We've been in the center of the game layout, in the first round of the re-bet led the shot of Legend of Bow and Arrow (Haibi Network). In my opinion, the children's industry may be very marketable. Take BabyBus, for instance, Tocobaca in the usa has a large earnings but quite low-key. The second is the feminine game industry, and we will concentrate on these two fields. I think there are opportunities for segmentation in game-related communities, nonetheless it is more challenging to get users.
