Y'know how people start to hate a product or company because they keep having ads for it shoved in their face constantly? Yeah that's basically what happens with a lot of the xReader stuff. People literally have paid money to shove untagged xReader fic in my face. Literally, they've Blazed it. Multiple instances. It's got nothing to do with it being "cringe" or literally anything other than I don't have any interest in it and the shippers insist on making me look at it anyway. (I feel this way about several canon/canon NOTPs of mine that seem impossible to reliably filter out due to lack of tagging as well--forcing me to look at a thing I do not want to see will not endear it to me.)
