“Emily” The brunette heard behind her, she turned from her bestfriend and looked to her father standing with a young boy.

“I want to introduce you to Macklin, he’s gonna live with us next season” he says and she smiles at him.

“Nice to meet you Macklin, congrats on the draft”

“Thank you”

“You two talk for a minute, Emily I’m gonna go get my keys” he says to the girl, patting her on the shoulder as he walks away.

“has he been talking your ear off all night?” She asks Macklin when Joe is out of ear shot.

“Not all night” he chuckles

“well, when you get to know him you’ll find out he likes to talk”

“I hope so, might ease up my nerves a bit, I don’t want to overstep on your family stuff by living with you guys”

“You won’t overstep at all, don’t be nervous, well, maybe when you meet river, I’m pretty sure he’s gonna be in the WWE, kid doesn’t stop fighting”

“how old are your siblings?” He asks.

“Ayla is almost 13 and River just turned 11. They are pretty chill, river also might ask you 1000 questions”

“That’s alright, do you guys also play hockey?”

“I did, until junior year, but I had quit because of an injury, Ayla plays for her middle school and rivers on like.. 3 teams- can I introduce you to someone” she gasp with a smile.

“Go for it”

“Marlee!” She calls to someone behind Macklin, soon a blonde appears next to her.

“Macklin, this is Marlee my other half, Marlee this is Macklin, the rookie”

“Nice to meet you Macklin” she smiles and he seems very interested in her eyes. “Nice to meet you”

“Are you staying with us for dev camp? or in a hotel”

“Hotel, me and smitty are roommates

“Smitty?” Marlee asks.

“Will smith” he says, she turns to Emily with a raised eyebrow. “Isn’t he an actor?” She whispers making both the brunettes laugh.

“No babes, he got drafted last year, the cute blonde, goes to BC” Emily smiles, not even realizing how she described him.

“ohhh him- gotcha- so Macklin didn’t you go to Boston U”

“I did..” Emily zoned out for the rest of that conversation, remembering the blonde she met a year ago, would be returning in just a few months, weeks even.

“Dad, mom wants to know what time are… I’m sorry I didn’t mean to interrupt” she trails off when she realizes her dad was talking with the kid who just got drafted.

“No you weren’t interrupting, I actually wanted to introduce you two, since you’re the same age. Will, this is my daughter Emily, Emily, this is Will”

“Nice to meet you” he smiles.

“tell your mom we land back in San Jose at 8 am.”

She thumbs up and walks away with her phone ready to type.

“Emily, em?” Marlee says to the brunette, snapping her attention. “Sorry what” she noticed Macklin disappeared.

“You were clocked out for like 10 minutes, Macklin went home and your dad is waiting for us, let’s go”

Reunite the bloodline 2024

Here's what I would love to see happen.

Solo and Jimmy dethrone the judgement day at a WWE PPV and become the new undisputed tag team champions.

On that same PPV Jey has a match for the IC title and dethrones Gunther to capture his first singles title.

Fast forward the WWE draft happens and Jey gets drafted to smackdown.

On Jey's first night on SmackDown he issues an open challenge for the IC and wins his first title defense.

Jey walks to the back where he is confronted by Reigns and the Wiseman.

Roman looks at Jey and says "That title would look good with the bloodline uce".

Jey looks at Roman as he walks away and the Wiseman tells Jey "You never were meant to be out the bloodline."

Fast forward to another episode of smackdown.

Solo and Jimmy defend against the judgement day in a title rematch and in the match Jimmy has Finn down for a Uso splash but dirty Dom interferes with the match and out of nowhere Jey comes running down the ramp and super kicks dirty Dom.

Jimmy has a surprised look on his face and Jey says "Do it uce!!!" Jimmy hits the Uso splash and the ref counts 1 2 3!!!

Solo and Jimmy retain and Jey gives them their titles and grabs his title as well and there is a stare down between them.

Romans music hits and he walks down to the ring with his title and demands the Wiseman to get him a microphone.

Roman looks at Jey and says "You stand here with the IC title alone and we stand here the WWE champion and the Undisputed tag champions now Jey you tell me what you want to do. You can either keep doing you or you can come back to the bloodline and we all shine with gold."

Jey takes the microphone from Roman pacing back and forth in the ring. As he continues to pace back and forth Jey looks at his brothers and back at Roman and says "Let's shine together uce." The crowd goes wild and Roman and Jey hug it out as the bloodline holds up all the gold in the ring and Jey says "The bloodline is now in yo city!!!"

For all intents and purposes, Christian Brigham doesn’t exist. With this persona, he’s publicly Carmelo Hayes. Carmelo is arguably the most complete package in WWE Developmental’s NXT program and an all but certain call up to its main roster. Which is…what you think could sum him up.

In truth, Carmelo is just as much fictional as the rest. Brigham keeps the personality for show. Behind the scenes he’s low-key, usually nose deep in an inherited library of wrestling films from Shawn Michaels. The latter is also important to him because it’s the most fiery teacher:student dynamic you’ll ever see. HBK has taken to Carmelo having seen so much of himself(for better and worse). The future is either a bright torch, or an arson case.

Updated: April 2024: Carmelo has been selected as Pick 1B of the 2024 Draft to Smackdown Brand. He has yet to find a new hairstylist for his traveling.

OOC: Ships with chemistry, always open for interesting plots and world-building. Expect scenes. Lots of them to flesh both Hayes and the partner in writing’s behaviors and connection out. Like if interested/DM if you’ve got a plan. I’ll probably run with it 🧐.

After a nine-month absence due to injury, Boogs made his return on the January 30, 2023, episode of Raw as the newest member of the roster, but during the 2023 WWE Draft, Boogs was drafted back to the SmackDown brand. At SummerSlam, Boogs competed in the Slim Jim Battle Royal where he was unsuccessful in winning.This would end up being Boogs' final appearance for the company as he was released from his contract on September 21. On January 4, 2024, he confirmed in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, that he no longer wishes to wrestle anymore after his release from WWE.

“All great groups go by specific monikers or a theme, so as to hopefully build upon the units’ cohesion and team success. From Pure Fusion Collective to the New Day to American Made, whether factioned off or in tag-team competition, “names” remain the rule of the game, no matter what company. So how is it, then, when wrestlers are forced to go back to the drawing board? Before they can even get going, in the ring?

Did you know that before hitting the tag team scene for World Wrestling Entertainment as the Viking Raiders, Eric and Ivar were known, collectively, as War Machine? As the team stands today, both men are currently missing from action due to separate injuries. Well before this, however, the two had been blazing up a path of destruction during their time in various promotions such as Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling, to name a few.

Starting off as War Machine along the indies, they eventually became known as War Raiders upon signing with WWE in 2018. With the draft, came a change in roster as well as a change in name. This new name that they gained, down in NXT, wouldn’t hold long, as the story goes.

Things change, people change, but most things seem to stay the same. One constant, with this team, has always been “the raid”. Just as quickly as they became the Viking Experience, they were then renamed, once again, to what we now know them to be, today: The Viking Raiders.
