I just find it interesting cause the way ted lasso (the show) starts off, it makes it clear that, like any other workplace comedy show of its type, ted and rebecca are the main endgame couple

but as the seasons have progressed, they haven't had near as many romcom beats as they should to still be seen as endgame?

yes, they've had moments of closeness and understanding, but they haven't had that undercurrent of something more that should be there

I still think they're endgame, cause that's how these kind of shows always go, but....

but now trent is in it for realsies. and he and ted have already had several of those romcom beats that should've been between ted and rebecca

and anyway idk where I'm going with this. I just know I know how a romance story line is supposed to play out and I'm trying really hard to not read into anything cause that way lies disappointment
