Reminds me of that split-second moment in "The Last Crash of the Sunchaser" where Scrooge says 'Nothing will happen to her!" and Beakley responds 'Her? Her who?' Launchpad then gets really sad and hesitates to follow Scrooge's orders which shocks Beakley.

Later, in the finale, when Beakley retells the story of what happened to Scrooge after Della disappeared to the boys, Webby, and Donald during the reunion party, the camera focuses on Launchpad and he starts to freak out. Once she's finished telling the story, Launchpad angrily shouts "A lot! This lady knows a lot!"

It makes me wonder what the relationship of Scrooge & LP was like before the boys came to visit and how LP came to learn the story of what happened to Della, seeing as he didn't know her and had no involvement with the Spear of Selene.

Ahh I don’t know how I missed this in my ask box, but everything about Beakley in Last Crash is such good storytelling as to the years they spent living together before the boys showed up. She’s got his number she was THERE to watch everything after it fell apart.

I always took that moment with LP as a moment of clarity for him, like there is CLEARLY a conversation happening here that The Grown Ups are having that he doesn’t understand, and he looks around and realizes he’s one of The Grown Ups, and is put in a decision making position.

Like ^ love LP but Scrooge just made a HUGE slip up, and that boy is head. empty.

I do think it would have been interesting to have seen his take on it, but I’m realizing now in present day, his whole perspective on What Happened was completely based on what he can see. I’m not sure he ever considered what happened before, or why things are the way they are, just that This Is How It Is, you know? And the boys are here now, and so the most important thing is what’s in front of him, which is keeping them in the house. And then when Beakley lays out her “Hey, Scrooge is a person who went through something, have you considered he is still hurting, too?” it’s an awakening for him as well. I don’t think thought about it, either.

#honestly that episode is such a good character study for her she’s in control she’s proper she’s bossy but she’s also so empathetic #HES ABOUT TO TELL THE STORY OF THE WORST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED IN HIS 150 YEARS AND SHE KNOWS IT #I get really emotional thinking about how Beakley tries to defend Scrooge #they call him out on things he didn’t do and she’s like Hey that’s not how it happened-#bc she was THERE for everything in the flashbacks #ahhh #that’s her FRIEND she wants to drop kick him off the roof 6 days of the week but he’s her FRIEND

#i pirated that shit Btw just so we're clear. also gonna talk about it a little bit in the tags #nothing too spoilery but also might not wanna read if you want to go in knowing absolutely nothing? idk #anyway he WAS a main character still he was present for a decent amount of the first couple episodes #but the amount of screentime he gets just starts dropping after that . hes barely there at all in the second half ???#and it feels like theres a lot of scenes mostly focusing on wade and his problems and not near as many for knuckles and his whole deal #overall it feels more like a wade show with knuckles in it than a knuckles show with wade in it. which sucks #and human characters having plot relevance isnt the problem here i dont mind human characters at all i think they can be really fun #its the fact that the human characters are taking over the story and spotlight when the show is called knuckles #and all the marketing makes it look like knuckles is the main focus #and i also would have preferred if they just went with a differnet character to be knuckles' human friend #because i dont particulraly care about wade. and the knuckles (and sonic and tails) i know would not be friends with cops </3 #well at least the story wasnt knuckles training wade to be a better cop like a lot of people were expecting but thats like.the bare minimum #also aside from the issues relating to knuckles' screentime (or lack of screentime) i thought the ending was unsatisfying #regardless of all that though there WERE some parts i enjoyed or found kind of funny or whatever. because knuckles so cutesy as always #knuckles being a cute little guy is the most important part of the show actually #and i liked the parts with sonic tails and maddie even if they were only there for like 5 minutes #(i really wish those three had gotten more screentime. i feel like they could have easily worked in at least one more scene with them)#and its a minor thing but the opening sequence is cute. was honestly expecting just a title card or something #overall the show is just . kind of okay i guess. not the worst thing ive ever seen but still disappointing ? idk how to explain..#my expectations also werent very high in the first place #so maybe im being a bit more generous than i would have been otherwise. idk #and i definitely would not recommend this to anyone who already dislikes the sonic movies . youll probably hate this more #like people who thought the human characters got too much screentime in the second movie would lose their minds if they saw this

out of the big 4 het/canon fairy tail pairings jerza is by Far the worst imo like. he needs to leave her alone i'm so serious and the fact that mashima wrote in a 7 year age gap for no reason is Not helping... erzas ass is NINETEEN the first time jellal makes an open pass at her i don't care that they used to be the same age it is fucking weird. gruvia is a close second though because while yes we objectify men here sir and i live to serve women juvia's creepiness is really just too much like at a certain point it starts to feel really gross and the fact that gray seems to fall for her by the end of the anime/manga just reeks of coercion. not even bringing up how genuinely awful juvia's character writing is she gets like 5 minutes of being interesting before getting instantly reduced to a creepy stan who completely revolves around gray and has less depth than the average bossfight of the week. i guess its equality that erza and mirajane are some of the best characters in this story (which is admittedly a low bar considering half of their personality is being subjected to the most voyeuristic shots possible) so mashima had to balance it out by making juvia one of the worst

#the other two pairings nalu and gajevy are honestly fine. i'm more pilled on gratsu and lucana or luli but gajevy is actually a decently #sweet redemption relationship if you forget that gajeel was genuinely the worst person alive in his villain arc before mashima decided to #fast track him to the most likable character in the show.#on top of that while gajeel and levy become a Unit pretty fast after tenrou island they do still have like #unique personalities and things about them that help them stand apart from the other. unlike juvia with gray.#nalu might not be my pairing of choice for either natsu or lucy or even my favorite big 4 pairing but it is pretty good. i really don't hav #any notes they have their own personalities and have chemistry. i think they're sweet together. they work fine.#the moral of the story is don't read or watch fairy tail it's just shittier one piece #tender age of 11 and it gave me incurable brain fungus and now i live in my wonderful little made up world where everyone in fairy tail is #gay and trans and the women aren't treated like meat half the time. this is my trash of choice and my defining character sin dont be like m #but if you're that curious read the manga the anime is insanely drawn out #and the animation is aaaawful #the only reason im watching it is as background noise for when i work #im gonna tag this as #fairy tail #for people who want to blacklist #in the future

As someone who's read and reread Romeo and Juliet and studied the damn thing for almost a decade ever since I first read it in high school, every time I see someone compare it to sk, I roll my eyes and let out the most audible frustrated sigh I can and no it's not cause of the star-crossed lovers thing

#tlou 2 spoilers////#i absolutely get that this is the point but there's something genuinely so hollowing and just. hurtful about joel's death #like he died brutally and now he can't make amends with his daughter everything that he fought for for so long doesn't matter bc he's dead #he got two years (stfu neil drunkman. two years??? two whole years??? shut the fuck up) of the silent treatment from the person he loved #most in the world #the one person he would (and has) fight to death to keep safe. and the SECOND he got a chance of making things right he's fucking dead #i have to make a post about this but i genuinely believe that the cruelty present as a theme throughout the entirety of tlou is not always #effective and at times can almost make you lose the point of the story #it's not just that bad things happen. bad things happen at the worst possible time in the most hurtful way #it's cruelty towards however is invested in the story and it's on purpose. sometimes it serves the narrative (joel dying for example.#although cruel it was necessary to move the story of the game along)#and sometimes it just feels like twisting the knife for no damned good reason (they really didn't even get a day to try?? not one??)#and the result is something that i find so so overwhelming and punitive #that it makes it honestly hard for me to even begin to try to make up my mind about wether i like it or not #it hurts!!!! it makes me feel Bad. and empry anc confused and lonely and pointless ans stupid #which honestly resembles what real world loss and grief are ig. but also it clouds what your story is #but ALSO going that entire way just to say forgive don't seek revenge<333 feels uh. anticlimactic #i also keep coming back to taking ellie's fingers. twisting the knife making what's worse bad #like some of it is just low hanging fruit. the girl was alone already you got tour point across. was that last bit necessary #but then some of the cruelty really fucking works #but ALSO if i think about this too much i honestly feel Void inside me. which is why i'm typing this in the first place just #insane tragedy that makes me feel Bad in a way i can't express #i am both sicked and terrified for sunday.oh well #talking tag;#the last of us;

#Hassan fakes his death for a year and doesn’t really think about the consequences #he also kills a man #and jumpstarts the rising of snger god from the cult he joined #Joanne is so mean but I’d never call her awful she’s simply just having the worst time #her girlfriend is her exact opposite and it physically pains her to hear her lie which is in her nature #her dad is her mom who killed him and took over his body and who killed her actual mom #she’s killed a lot and has to take care of her little brother who is slightly sociopathic because of how he was raised #Benjamin is his whole personal can of worms and Lee sucks but more in a loser w anger issues wau #jude is just awful generally she’s not nice #princess who doesn’t understand the amount of prissiness she gives off #she eats someone’s hand dorry #she was hungry #she hangs her father but that’s honestly the best thing she’s ever done #pez is a freak and has 3 children who do not speak to her anymore #she’s drunk medicinal alcohol when going through withdrawals and had to get saved #I have a lot of more bad people but they’re supposed to be awful #Anne sleeps with and kills a 17 year old for a cult sacrifice to conceive a child chimera who dhe absndons because she thinks he’s defective #from ages 30-47 #and then posesses his body and makes him think he’s going crazy #and then she takes his boyfriend #-3/10 #Malina is kind of awful #she’s just got a lot of trauma she’s working through and her chest gets tight when she has to even think about talking about her emotions #she’s started so many bar fights and then gotten mad at Leith for stopping them #Krina isn’t awful she’s just a bitch #Farah ronan and Amado r all safe because they’re all my favorites #and Lale Quinn leith and wryder from the other story #wryder is awful but he’s a 13 year old boy he’s allowed to be #my writing

I knew about this series when i found its manga in 2010, my sibling brought it as a gag. I didn't understand the context. and read it from the mid part. Then went to youtube videos I didn't fully understand the spoken English and subtitles weren't on youtube and no russian versions at all. I went to the online mangas to read the speech. And write the sentences' meaning online.
