ratios are neat. what's a ratio that you like?
I'll go first: heat capacity, which is energy / degrees Celsius.
If a building has a high heat capacity, it means it takes a lot of energy to increase its temperature. A building with a high heat capacity will be cooler indoors when the outside temperature is high.
It's a neat ratio because it tells us why the shitty 5-over-1 buildings in Seattle are like ovens in the summer. They are constructed of less expensive materials that have lower heat capacity, and originally intended for there to be air-conditioning in each unit, but since it is "temperate" Seattle they removed all A/C vents or ports to further lower construction costs, thus passing on the financial burden of existing in an ever-warming world directly to individuals. (materials with higher heat capacity are generally heavier and thicker and thus more expensive)

lowkey it kinda bothers me a little bit that we've literally never seen the inside of a Dunlanding house. The only interiors we got in Dunland were craft areas and meeting-halls, never seen inside of one home. I mean presumably it looks similar to the interiors we've already seen (round, built a little ways into the ground, probably has a firepit in the center, furnished with a lot of fur rugs, most likely a bit smaller), but like, what do their beds look like? do they have bedframes or are they just on the ground? what does the rest of their furniture look like? are there windows or all they all as dark as the other buildings we've seen in Dunland? is it sectioned off into rooms or is it one large circular chamber? what different kinds of decorations would be in there??? I need to know these things!

I'm thinking about the ol dwemer cube cabin Wren has and a modern version would basically be an RV (and Wren would prefer to live in an RV all the time) and Vavani has a mushroom house grown on the base and legs section of a giant dwemer spider as well
That family just enjoys RVing and bein on the move I guess, easier to survive if you're packed up and ready to leave at any moment

WIP - Exerzierplatz 1:
This place includes the bookshop I shared yesterday, a delicatessen/corner store, whose post is in my drafts and a small café in the early stages. Also included are 4 apartments that currently have a somewhat awkward layout. I will keep them completely unfurnished and only focus on getting the café ready in a somewhat reasonable time.
