thinking abt how grimm is just....kind of Intense. and that's not as evident when they're in a domestic setting bc it's not life or death or anything but once they're back in a situation where life is actually on the line they're all like "hey yarrow if i'm bleeding out and it's obvious i'm not gonna make it can you be the one to put a bullet in my skull and finish me off for good. you're the only person i'd let kill me and i'd be at peace in my final moments. also if you decided to kill me right now i wouldn't question it"

#meanwhile yarrow is like.......please don't ask that of me. i would do it because you asked but do not put me in that situation #yarrow would not ask the same but not out of fear of grimm or anything it just genuinely wouldn't cross their mind #if anything yarrow's like 'i didn't think of this scenario bc i can't imagine i would survive a situation you didn't'#the two of them have this sort of discongruence where yarrow wants them both to be safe and plans for their mutual safety #with a slight emphasis on protecting grimm if it comes down to things #meanwhile grimm wants yarrow safe first and foremost. its own safety is fully secondary. this pisses off yarrow a lot #the thing with p3 is i have their dynamic pretty settled i just haven't decided on a lot of the specific scenarios yet so #i'm just like. i need situations to put you two in. which is mostly a matter of just sitting down and thinkin it out really #rambles #grimm #grimmyarrow
