Last night a friend told me that she uses tarot as a trusted confidant she can turn to whenever she feels frustrated or confused. . Unlike you're human friends, tarot is not having a baby or on a book tour. Tarot will show up for you in the middle of the night, even to talk about that one problem your human friends are so over discussing they can't even. . Tarot could quite possibly be your wisest friend. At over half a century old, Tarot has seen it all. And often, Tarot is telling you the answers long before you even know what the question is. . Looking back through my tarot journal I saw that about a year ago at I kept drawing the Temperance card. . Temperance, as the Alchemist, can often refer to the process of artmaking, but upon reflection I see now that the tarot was encouraging me in deepening my healing practice. . From my tarot journal 1 year ago: "The Alchemist recognizes the Spirit in everything. They take their time, they pay attention, they develop relationships with the materials they're working with. Their mode of work is patience and taking pleasure in the process. The true aim of the Alchemist is healing." . Over the last year, my practice as a healer has blossomed, and in that time I've realized that healing REALLY IS about patience and pleasure. And as I practice that, more and more people are attracted to my work. . The Tarot was telling me what I needed to focus on to call more abundance and joy into my life. It can do that for you too. .
