Green Ninja & Jade Princess

Among the Elemental Alliance, one member stands out for being "down to earth" and marketing herself to the people of Ninjago City. The Green Ninja, Master of Flora. This member's popularity would lead to a particular interest from Lloyd among his fascination with the Elemental Alliance, never knowing that the identity of his hero is his own mother.

Rambunctious, cocky, and with the mouth of a sailor that she miraculously keeps out of her public image, Koko is the youngest member of the Elemental Alliance, and thus is treated almost exclusively like a rookie. Acronix, Left hand of Time, in particular often gets stuck with her, turning eventually into a begrudging friendship. While Acronix admits that Misako has grown close to him, he also says that Koko doesn't really know him.

Around the same time-frame, Master Wu, Son of the First Spinjitzu Master, and leader of the Elemental Alliance, discovered a starving orphan girl who had broken into the Monastery of Spinjitzu desperately in search of something to placate her hunger. Motivated partly by kindness, partly by pity, and partly in envy of other child-bearing families across Ninjago city, the sensei adopted the young girl, and named her Harumi, treating her like Royalty and giving her the title "The Jade Princess" after her birth-stone.

Years would pass and the girl would grow increasingly close to Misako, almost seeing the Green Ninja as an older sister. (A bad influence that everyone else in the Elemental Alliance were eager to point out.) Desiring to imitate Koko and the others, and eager to help protect NInjago city, Harumi trained under Koko and believed herself to be ready to unlock her elemental power.

Unfortunately, elemental powers do not come to everyone. And after many increasingly dangerous attempts at unlocking such a power, A tipping point was reached when Koko began to shut Harumi out, believing that she truly was a bad influence that would only hurt Harumi in the end. Hurt that her closest friend would abandon her like that, and even more angry that her adoptive father seemed to agree with such a course of action, Harumi ran away from the Monastery, vowing to achieve her elemental powers no matter what stands in her way.

Man, I really have been holding back on the content, haven't I?

I've been really busy for the last few months and as a result all of the development I've made hasn't even made it past the thought stage. (Although the Full Story Outline document was never any semblance of complete since I first made it.)

Initially I was going to wait way longer to reveal Harumi's role in the story, (Although only about a 4th of it has been revealed thus far,) but I had the idea of making Koko a previous Green Ninja based on how she was the Lady Iron Dragon in the Ninjago Movie, and I knew that was the kind of idea that should be got out of the way early, and one thing led to another, and in fleshing out Koko's doodles I ended up finally making a reference for Harumi, and figured this wasn't a bad time to do her official reveal.

Welcome Home × Soul Eater AU ramble

I had announced it, I shall now share it !

Behold, WH SE AU

Context :

In the world of Soul Eater, there are people who can transform into weapons (called demonic weapons), a genetic trait coming from some witch experimenting on humans centuries before. To avoid having those "weapons" go out of control, Shinigami, a god of death, created a school called Shibusen, where those weapons could learn how to control their powers. There are also people who come to this school to partner with the weapons and wield them, those are called meisters.

In this AU, our colorful cast of Welcome Home characters are students at this school in their last few years of studies (18-23 years old) and decided to create a race to the top before their graduation. The goal ? Get their weapon partner to the "death scythe" level by getting as much evil souls as they can. Who will win ? Who knows 👀

Okay so this AU is actually over a year old, I had old designs and dynamics I wasn't 100% happy with because this AU was co created

Idk how the other creator is doing, I haven't talked to them in a loooong while, so I decided to rebrand the AU a little

Now, I'll explain my choices and lore

For one, I believe in keeping the canon personalities. So, when deciding who's a weapon and who is a meister, I tried to go along how the characters would act and what alligns with their silly selves. The characters that ended up as weapons needed to be weapons, otherwise it doesn't fit their personality to come to Shibusen to become a meister (reminder, meister can choose to go to Shibusen, weapons are kinda obligated to)

For the clothing, I just had fun with the "school uniform" concept as given in the Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not manga series.

And for the pairing, I included a lot of ocs, ik, but I wanted the pairs to truly match in energy and personality, and also I love my and Koko's oc and it's my AU I do what I want !

Joking side, here are some more funfact on how they ended up there

Julie followed in her siblings footsteps

Barnaby came to partner with Wally, the two are childhood best friends

Sally and Howdy came for fame and opportunities that come with being a meister

Nyxie and Suave where raised in Shibusen for lore reasons 👀

Julie and Wally are dating !

Frank and Eddie are a bit more on and off, because Eddie is an anxious mess and Frank doesn't like competion

But at the same time, the shipping in this AU is "yes" because : Julie and Wally are a thing, but Julie is very close to Frank, who is on and off with Eddie, and Eddie is quite close to Howdy, and Sally likes to flirt with Eddie and Poppy, but Lucero has a crush on Sally, who might have a lil crush on Julie, but Nyxie has a crush on Lucero, and Barnaby and Wally are reaaallly close

Other funfacts

Nyxie and Suave are actually weapons too, Nyxie is a frying pan (because what else would she be) and Suave is undetermined. Both are very unstable and thus can't really be weapons full time, hence why they meister others

Everyone has part time jobs !

Nyxie and Suave work at a bar, Eddie works at the post office, Sally works at a theater, Lucero works with Caly at a music shop, Frank works at a library, Julie in a hairdresser salon, Poppy and Howdy work at a little retail shop, Wally and Barnaby work in a clothing store.

They all live in the same appartement complex, all neighbors and they visit eachother all the time ! Each pair live together too, platonically.

This AU is a lil special to me because I love Soul Eater and the lore and ik there is probably already some other SE Wh aus but I wanted to get this out anyway and see if people enjoy my silly rambling

What do you think Movie Harumi's past would be like?

SLAMS FIST ON TABLE. I HAVE MANY THOUGHTS.

but mostly three so I'll explain all the ideas that i have

1. the most accurate to canon: shes a supporter of lord Garmadon. at first, she was one of the few people that liked Lloyd (besides the snf) because of Garmadon being his dad, but she immediately hated him once he was revealed to be the gn and made Garma stop all his villainy and stuff. i dont really use this ver of her mostly bc idk what'd be a good motive for her being a villain?? maybe to match the lighter/goofier tone of tlnm-verse she could be like an evil-ex type character on the surface, but then have some deeper layers underneath?? yeah idk much about this version of her lol

2. i took this one mostly from someone else's au snippets (i forgot who they were but i owe them my life for this headcanon) and its that the SOG is a school gang and Rumi runs it!! yknow that one piece of tlnm art i doodled of her?? this was the version :DD shes mysterious, standoffish, and even a bit creepy, but in actuality shes pretty sweet!! again, dont really know why she'd have a cult following for Garmadon in this, but hey, it gives her a reason to be protective of lloyd!! tldr; local school cryptid girl who might be a witch is very protective of her estranged friend

3. and, last but not least, my 1000% purely self indulgent version of tlnm rumi!!! youre getting an essay for this lol. under the cut because it's VERY LONG. excuse my spelling errors :D

She and lloyd are (adopted) siblings!! her bio parents were nurses on koko's side of the war, getting killed by Garmadons army in the process. Harumi's parents, thinking that they were safe where they were, brought Harumi with them to their designated camp site/zone place. of course, they WERENT safe, but where else were they supposed to leave their daughter??? plus, she was only, like... 1.

After the raid on the camp, when the smoke cleared, only one living being remained; a crying little girl.

Now Lloyd (and yes, i know in tlnm canon koko left with lloyd when he was only a few months old, but this is MY little sandbox and i get to do what i want <3<3. she left with him when he was about 3 here), who was around 2 and a half by now, was currently in Garmadons custody (koko and garma switched custody every week or for plot AND bc that seems like something theyd legitimately do)

When he wandered off from his dad, he stumbled upon her. when garma found him just a few minutes later, playing with this young girl and picking her up like she was family?? he just kinda went 'well sure he can have a sister i guess' and she was just kinda?? adopted??? (your dystopian au rumi 🤝 my tlnm au rumi)

When koko left with lloyd, she TRIED to take harumi with her, but rumi- who only really considered Garmadon and Lloyd as her family- stayed behind with her dad. she doesn't know that he was the root of the cause behind the death of her bio parents (yet)

So, she spends the next few years training under Garmadon, getting stronger, yada yada. fast forward to when she's around 14 and Lloyd's around 16

Its the very first time rumis allowed to go to Ninjago City WITH garma and his generals. she does more damage on her own compared to like. 12 of them combined, so its unsurprising when shes suddenly confronted by a certain green ninja

Now, keep note, these two havent seen eachother in over 10 years. all the memories they have of each other are blurry. of course, they were both in disguises/different outfits (lloyd in his gi, rumi in her S.O.G uniform) so they didn't recognize each other at first. but, after harumis makeup started melting away, and her hair became more frazzled?

Well, lloyd could recognize her from anywhere

He stopped that fight SO FAST. idk if he'd immediately tell her who he is right then and there, but he'd stop fighting her. then, after he got her to listen, he'd pull her to the side and explain everything. including the death of her bio parents, now that she was old enough to understand it

To say Harumi was conflicted was the understatement of the century. Garmadon gave her everything- Literally made her who she is. hes her dad, and she loves him. but could she have been someone- Anyone else if her parents didn't die that day?

Actually, if Lloyd didnt find her, would she have been left to die, too?

the hypothetical conversation back at Garmadon's volcano im imagining in my head for these two rn is heartwrenching (writes that down for my wip folder) BUT it ends in harumi running away. back to the city, back to Lloyd

In all honesty, she doesn't really feel Comfortable or Good Enough to be hanging with lloyd and his friends. (and yes, she knows about the mass bullying on Lloyd, and is a second away from destroying this city herself about it frfr) BUT bc of this, she asks koko (who shes trying to refer to as mom btw) if theres any place she can go. somewhere outside the city, but not too far from the only family she had left

Sadly, Koko didnt have an answer.

But Lloyd did.

And that answer was in a little library right outside of Ninjago City, where the only other family member Harumi hasn't met yet lives :)

tldr, she vibes with morro at his haunted library and visits lloyd every week or so :DD

The limo is making way for the most exclusive event of New Gotham and the man, not the driver, of course, of the said limo, is with his best tuxedo and looking at his watch. His assistant, a Norwegian woman named Helga Oxtris (people in the US have a hard time pronouncing her name correctly as proving in the airport scene) who is on the phone to make sure her boss arrives is on the right time and with all the attention he demanded.

The woman sighs and turns off the phone confirming to her boss that the preparations are in order. "Loki" she speaks a bit tired of dealing with Emma´s goonies/employees for so long. "Why are we really here? You never leave Norway"

Loki pours a glass of wine for himself and offers to his assistant that is his plus one. " To kill two birds with one stone. Emma Frost own me too much and...I have a chance to see an old friend" is his reply and the assistant raise an eyebrow.

"And that woman...what´s her name? oh right, Columbina"

"Amora...She is nothing but a thief, and I´m a warlock"

"Whose powers are 90% cut since you´re out of Norway"

"Yes, but...I don´t need magic for what I´m going to do and no one but you...knows that. That little thief won´t get on our way again, now, rejoice, Amora, we´re about to steal the night"

Emma Frost´s party certainly deserve all the hype the media often gives and Kokoro Braddock has to admit the place chosen for the party, the Hilton Hotel, clean up nicely and the theme of diamonds are well done in Kokoro´s opinion.

"Ok, I´m here to socialize, so, let´s socialize, Kokoro" she repeats this mantra to herself 3 times and her boyfriend is too amused by her antics, no word is needed as he knows his girlfriend very much.

"Koko, hey, look at me. You´re the strongest and bravest woman I ever know. You can do it and will do marvellous" AngelHawk states and Kokoro offers a small smile.

"I...don´t know how to make friends so easy and I know people call me icy queen...And...I´m aware I´m not the most affable person in the room" she confessed and Angel only kisses her hand gently.

"And you´re also one of the most amazing people I have the chance meeting. You may not be affable, but, you love so sincerely and that´s so rare, especially where I came from...so, Kokoro, trust me on this one. If they don´t like you...is their loss"

"Loki?!" Wanda asked back with her eyes getting crimson now. And Meggan does not need to be empathic to know how upset the White Witch is. Columbina only nods not minding the chaos or the destructive powers the other has. Lorna has a weapon, under her drawer, in case Wanda´s power gets too much.

But, Columbina takes her hands kindly and speaks with her. "Wanda, you´re not alone here, never was and never will be...Loki is a pain in the ass, but, we won´t let him getaway. Trust me." and to everyone surprise, Wanda calms herself down.

Sparrow and Felicia's exchanges glare at this scene for a moment. Dark Claw told them about the only time Wanda´s powers went loose and it was needed Prof Marcian X to prevent a disaster, however, Columbina calms her down so effortless.

Gwen, once knowing the situation is under control, makes one question. "We all hate Loki, but, how can we avoid him? Won´t he ruin our plan...and he still hates you, Columbina"

Meggan is not sure if she laughs at this confirmation or not, but, Columbina just sighs. "Thank god, you all have me because we´ll use plan B" and asks Gwen about the campaign on social media.

"Oh, well, realistically, we can´t stop everyone from buying diamonds, but, Emma´s clients decreased 50% ever since" Gwen affirms and even show the app on her cellphone showing the stock share on Emma´s industries of diamonds.

Still not enough as Lorna and Sparrow said, but, for now, is enough.

"Well, we got to use plan B, Lorna, are you ready?" Columbina asked and the green-haired woman only reply "I´m your oracle, Columbina, you know I´m ready"

"Everyone is ready?" and Kitty looks at Wanda who sighs and nods. And now, Meggan chooses to drop a bomb. "Guys...Kokoro will also be there too?"

"See? that´s why we need those meetings before enacting the plan" Columbina told them and Meggan gave a brief about Kokoro (never share her weakness, of course) as now Plan B is their only option.

Welcome Home × Soul Eater AU ramble

I had announced it, I shall now share it !

Behold, WH SE AU

Context :

In the world of Soul Eater, there are people who can transform into weapons (called demonic weapons), a genetic trait coming from some witch experimenting on humans centuries before. To avoid having those "weapons" go out of control, Shinigami, a god of death, created a school called Shibusen, where those weapons could learn how to control their powers. There are also people who come to this school to partner with the weapons and wield them, those are called meisters.

In this AU, our colorful cast of Welcome Home characters are students at this school in their last few years of studies (18-23 years old) and decided to create a race to the top before their graduation. The goal ? Get their weapon partner to the "death scythe" level by getting as much evil souls as they can. Who will win ? Who knows 👀

Ramble :

Okay so this AU is actually over a year old, I had old designs and dynamics I wasn't 100% happy with because this AU was co created

Idk how the other creator is doing, I haven't talked to them in a loooong while, so I decided to rebrand the AU a little

Now, I'll explain my choices and lore

For one, I believe in keeping the canon personalities. So, when deciding who's a weapon and who is a meister, I tried to go along how the characters would act and what alligns with their silly selves. The characters that ended up as weapons needed to be weapons, otherwise it doesn't fit their personality to come to Shibusen to become a meister (reminder, meister can choose to go to Shibusen, weapons are kinda obligated to)

For the clothing, I just had fun with the "school uniform" concept as given in the Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not manga series.

And for the pairing, I included a lot of ocs, ik, but I wanted the pairs to truly match in energy and personality, and also I love my and Koko's oc and it's my AU I do what I want !

Joking side, here are some more funfact on how they ended up there

Julie followed in her siblings footsteps

Barnaby came to partner with Wally, the two are childhood best friends

Sally and Howdy came for fame and opportunities that come with being a meister

Nyxie and Suave where raised in Shibusen for lore reasons 👀

Julie and Wally are dating !

Frank and Eddie are a bit more on and off, because Eddie is an anxious mess and Frank doesn't like competion

But at the same time, the shipping in this AU is "yes" because : Julie and Wally are a thing, but Julie is very close to Frank, who is on and off with Eddie, and Eddie is quite close to Howdy, and Sally likes to flirt with Eddie and Poppy, but Lucero has a crush on Sally, who might have a lil crush on Julie, but Nyxie has a crush on Lucero, and Barnaby and Wally are reaaallly close

Other funfacts

Nyxie and Suave are actually weapons too, Nyxie is a frying pan (because what else would she be) and Suave is undetermined. Both are very unstable and thus can't really be weapons full time, hence why they meister others

Everyone has part time jobs !

Nyxie and Suave work at a bar, Eddie works at the post office, Sally works at a theater, Lucero works with Caly at a music shop, Frank works at a library, Julie in a hairdresser salon, Poppy and Howdy work at a little retail shop, Wally and Barnaby work in a clothing store.

They all live in the same appartement complex, all neighbors and they visit eachother all the time ! Each pair live together too, platonically.

Bruiser rushed down the corridor, dragging a barely conscious Syd with him. Rescuing them from the Horde was one thing but getting out was another. He couldn’t find any of the other princes and even though he’d grown up in the Horde, every hall was a mystery to him and he didn’t even know where this one led. All he knew was that if he didn’t get out soon, they’d both be goners.

The door in front of them slammed shut, locking them in. Which was perfect timing as the alarm system started blaring again, the lights flashing red every few minutes, only adding onto the stress. Syd grabbed Bruiser’s collar and squeezed their eyes shut, trying their hardest to teleport. At first, Bruiser thought it was working, the sparkles were appearing and hey, Syd was glowing again. And then it faded and Syd let out a cry as the red electricity coursed through them again, the same thing that had been plaguing them since they’d been taken to the Horde.

Bruiser cursed himself, wishing he knew how to help. He was the chosen one, he was supposed to be She-Ra… Or He-Ra, technically. It didn’t matter. What matters was that he was supposed to protect Etheria and everyone on it and save the people. Light Hope chose him, he was supposed to fix Mara’s mistakes. And here he was, letting everyone down. He didn’t know how to help his best friend, he didn’t even know if they were going to make it back to Bright Moon. And that’s what terrified him. More than the blaring alarm and the adrenaline coursing through him at the thought of being captured again.

“Syd, what’s happening?” he finally asked, concern taking over the previous stern features he held as he pulled his friend closer to his chest, looking over their terrible state. Maybe if he could just yell ‘For the honor of Grayskull!’ and make everything okay. Usually that worked. Not anymore. He didn’t even have his sword.

“I-I don’t know,” Syd breathed back out, still gripping tightly onto Bruiser, holding on so hard their knuckles were turning white. “I can’t… teleport,” they revealed.

“What?” 

Syd was about to continue when the sound of something sharp, maybe claws, started scraping against the metal frame of the corridor, sparks flying in the dark end of the hall from whatever the source was.

The two turned, Bruiser stepping in front of Syd, ready to take on whatever it was. He would rather die than let anything happen to Syd, and that’s what he was expecting.

The sound drew closer and finally the figure stepped into the red lights.

Bruiser’s blue-gray eyes first started at the source of the sound. His sword! He followed the arm that held it up to the face and….

His face fell.

”Hey, Bruiser.”

That stupid fucking line. It was always him. It was always

“King.”

He forced his anger to return to the surface, pushing all concern for his friend away and any kindness that may have been stored. He needed to face his former friend (It still hurt him to say that). The one he’d left behind in the Horde. The one he’d abandoned for something better, for less destruction, less hate. He hated leaving King behind but King couldn’t imagine a life beyond the Horde, beyond all the death. He wanted to stay. And that was his own choice.

King’s face was laced with anger, fury, hate and even hurt glimmered in his blue and yellow narrowed eyes. One ear flicked, something Bruiser knew he did when he was upset. Ever since they were kids, he knew every little secret about King and how to make him fall apart or put him back together. He wished he could use the latter.

The badge that Bruiser hated shone in the red lights. Force Captain King. What a title. If he was still in the Horde they’d be Force Captains together. An amazing team. But now they were leaders, on opposite sides.

’Congratulations King,’ he thought bitterly to himself.

With a grunt, King swung the sword forwards, off the wall and then within moments had Bruiser turned away from Syd, who would’ve been helpless to stop him anyway, and pinned against the nearest wall, the sword against his throat, so close Bruiser could feel the cold, ancient metal against his skin. It made him want to shiver but he knew the slightest movement could get him killed.

King leaned in, their faces inches apart. Bruiser could make out every small detail in the boy’s face. Every tiny scar from scraps in the Horde, every freckle, every birthmark. Everything he wished he could get lost in once again. King’s tail lashed angrily behind him while a smirk fell on his face, baring his sharp canines.

“You princes think you know everything. That you can do everything huh? You think you can save Etheria. You really think, you can stop the Horde…” King trailed off, bursting into laughter that Bruiser would’ve found cute in any other situation. “Well, you’re wrong. You simply can’t. Because we will. Always. Be. One. Step. Ahead. So consider this a head start and a warning,” he continued, getting closer with each word before stepping back completely, dropping the sword to the side before shoving it into Bruiser’s hands.

Before Bruiser could say anything else, King had disappeared, most likely having hopped down from one catwalk to another. He stared for a moment at the place he’d just been, almost, missing him? He didn’t have any time or moment to dwell on it as Syd grabbed his arm and gestured to the now opened door that looked like it’d been cut off its hinges.

Did King do that?

“Let’s go! Now!”
